It's cold, so for dinner we had champon. It's delicious with lots of vegetables. I like thick noodles. The set comes with 3 dumplings with thin skin, easy to eat. My son got dumplings and fried rice, while my husband got champon with lots of vegetables. There's a lot of vegetables! Champon is the best choice on cold days.

Today's work is in Sakai City! I decided to have lunch at the Tsukuno store of Ito-Yokado... I chose to have Champon with a side of small fried rice at LingLing Hat because there was one nearby. There is also a LingLing Hat near my house, but I wonder how the taste is at this store??? I take a bite... It's delicious! LingLing Hat always tastes good no matter which store you go to! The fried rice also has a consistent flavor. Eating at the food court, this quality is truly impressive. Thank you for the meal!!!

I found out online that there was a special sale of Backhaus Irie's cream puffs at Ito Yokado in Tsukuno, so I decided to go and buy them without having to travel far. I lined up and got the cream puffs, which were so rich and delicious! I decided to have them for lunch before heading home. I thought of having champon for lunch today. I opted for a vegetable-loaded plate of udon noodles to keep it light since I have plans for meat tonight. The plate of udon noodles had plenty of vegetables and came with two types of ginger and yuzu pepper dressing on the side. The yuzu pepper was my favorite flavor. The food was delicious as always at Ringer Hut. After filling my stomach, I took the cream puffs home. Thank you for the meal!

Vegetables are expensive these days, so I don't eat a lot of them, but today I had a lot of vegetables. It was delicious! I enjoyed breaking the crispy noodles while eating.

I had to run an errand at Tsukuno's Yokado, so I decided to grab a quick bite to eat since I was feeling hungry. I didn't plan on eating a lot, so I opted for a light meal at Ringer Hut inside Ito Yokado Tsukuno store. The menu looked like this. Takeout is only one coin after tax, which is quite convenient. The takeout option is a better deal at 500 yen, which is nice. The portion was larger than I expected, with plenty of vegetables and a generous amount of meat miso-like topping. It was challenging to find the noodles amidst all the vegetables. When I finally found the thick noodles, I could tell they would be satisfying to eat. I decided to try the dish without adding anything first. It had a rich and flavorful taste, although it wasn't spicy. The meat miso added a nice touch to the dish. It could easily pass as a menu item called Meat Miso Mazesoba. Next, I added the oil provided. Oh, it's spicy! I was caught off guard by the unexpected spiciness and numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns. Despite the heat, the sweetness of the meat miso balanced it out, making it suitable for those who enjoy a bit of spice but find overly spicy dishes too much. Today's lunch was at Itoyokado. I went to pick up my bike that was repaired and decided to stop by Linga Hut for lunch. The large plate of udon looked delicious, so I wanted to try their special "Udon Plate Reset" but it turns out it's only available at night. It said the noodle refill is free, but the plate udon itself costs extra. Seems like false advertising, right? I ended up ordering the plate udon with 5 dumplings lunch set for 874 yen, and added a large serving of udon for 108 yen. The plate udon was difficult to eat as the sauce didn't mix well with the noodles. It's a self-service setup in the food court. I should have just ordered the Nagasaki Champon instead. I, on the other hand, went for a challenge with a separate menu item, the beef and hearty mixed noodles for 740 yen (excluding tax) with an extra large serving of noodles for an additional 100 yen. It had a sukiyaki-style, sweetly seasoned beef with a generous 150g portion. The noodles were thick like champon! Mix it all up, sprinkle some shichimi togarashi - and voila! This is my first time using the food court. It was hot and I didn't have much appetite, so I tried the cold Champon for 690 yen. It was really delicious! I love it. There was chili oil (with a hint of sansho pepper) on the side, and when you add it, it becomes spicy and flavorful with the sansho pepper. This is perfect for when you don't have much appetite in the summer! Although I didn't feel the staff's attitude was very good, I would like to eat this again!

My wife had Nagasaki Sara Udon for 600 yen + tax, which was also quite filling. Lots of vegetables and piping hot, which was great. The doubled noodles were voluminous as well.
