Hello, I'm the gourmet yokai Hagekappa! Today, I'd like to introduce a beloved izakaya in Omuta's drinking district called "Koryoriya Oriori." I've visited this place many times, but this is my first post about it! The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and you can enjoy seasonal dishes. There are many regular customers and it's affordable. I highly recommend you all to visit at least once! ♡

Staff service is top-notch! The friendly female staff and delicious food make the alcohol go down smoothly. The restaurant's interior is reminiscent of a Kyoto-style izakaya, with a counter where you can enjoy your meal. I usually don't like greasy food, but I decided to try their famous deep-fried skewers. The crispy coating and tender inside were not greasy at all, and I could eat as many skewers as I wanted. This is a restaurant that I would definitely recommend to others!

I recently heard a rumor that this small and beautiful izakaya called "Iroiro" in Omuta is popular among those who come on business trips. It is run by a young female owner and two female staff members. Although it has only been open since October 2016, it has already gained popularity among several people who come to Omuta for business or on temporary assignments. The interior has an L-shaped counter that can seat about 10 people, with a TV playing in the background. There is also a table for four by the window. The welcoming young female owner greets you with a smile as you enter. Instead of starting with the fried skewers, I first ordered tuna, which was served as fresh sashimi. It's rare to find a place in Omuta that serves delicious red tuna sashimi, which is one of my favorite foods. The owner and staff members are friendly and even engage in conversation with the customers, which adds to the popularity of this place. While izakayas specializing in fried skewers are rare in Omuta, "Iroiro" offers a variety of options where you can choose your favorite skewers to be fried. The crispy coating with a generous amount of sauce gives a gentle and delicious taste. The breadcrumbs are coarse, creating a crunchy texture, while the sauce has a rich and flavorful taste. They offer a variety of seasonings like salt, homemade ponzu sauce, curry salt, and yuzu salt, making it an interesting dining experience. I particularly enjoyed the fried skewers of myoga and homemade pickled ginger – a must-try dish. The delicious food and fried skewers are great, but the friendly atmosphere at the counter is also a highlight of "Iroiro."
