My mother's test results came back normal, so I asked her if there was anything she wanted to eat. She mentioned a place she wanted to go, so I left the reservation up to her. We used the navigation to find a trendy restaurant that looked like it came straight out of a food blog. It was hidden away and not visible from the parking lot side. We parked at the Times and made our way to the restaurant. The exterior was lovely, and the flowers near the entrance were beautiful. The room we were seated in was a private room with elegant high-back chairs. The smell was slightly reminiscent of a yakiniku restaurant, but not overpowering. We were informed that we could change the white rice to a bite-sized curry, which was quite spicy. We opted for the curry. The first dish that arrived was a hamburger with lotus root pickles, pak choi, and roast beef. The roast beef was sweet and piled high, making it a dish that could stand alone as a main course. Next came the main dish, which was aged meat consisting of inner and outer thigh cuts, served with steak sauce and rock salt. The black paste was fresh black pepper. The meat was delicious, and I enjoyed exploring the differences between the cuts. The portion size was perfect for me. The curry was served next in a small bowl, and the spiciness slowly built up, leaving a refreshing aftertaste that complemented the fatty meat. The dessert was exceptional, with a variety of fruits topped with soft serve ice cream. I chose a cafe au lait, and they specially prepared it with warm milk. The food and service were outstanding, and I left feeling completely satisfied. I immediately shared my experience with my mom friends, and I'm already thinking about when I can visit again.

I visited for lunch. I was a bit worried about the aged meat being smelly, but it was actually very delicious ^_^ I was guided to a private room and had a relaxing time (*^▽^*) The curry at the end was also delicious and I left feeling full ^_−☆

Lunch at Matasaburo, a pioneer in aged meat that I've been curious about for a while. I happened to visit the restaurant located on the first floor of the Osaka Nagai Park Hotel where I stayed. I made a reservation in advance for lunch. The lunch menu is quite expensive, even the more reasonable "Yakiniku Lunch Hana" costs ¥3,500. The meat is of high quality, with various cuts like misuji and loin. The set includes rice, Korean seaweed, white cabbage kimchi, bean sprout namul, and beef tendon soup, all of which are also of good quality. However, the price of ¥3,500 still feels high. It seems like enjoying the aged meat course at night would be better.

I made a reservation on a weekday night and went to Matasaburo, fulfilling my long-awaited wish! First, I looked at the menu while drinking beer. We enjoyed the aged meat course and added Chateaubriand and sirloin. Single item menu: ★Five-color vegetable namul - It was normal but delicious. ★Avocado with homemade onion dressing - The avocado was very soft and mellow, and the dressing was also good. ★Fruit tomato - Sweet and good. ★Egg soup - Normal but delicious. ★Cold noodles - Refreshing and clear taste. It was delicious with a firm taste despite its transparent appearance. ★Water buffalo mozzarella Bocconcini - Soft and melty. For the course, the salad had a smoked or aged smell with squid, prosciutto, tomato, Chinese cabbage, and lotus root. It had a unique and delicious taste. We drank various beers and wines (red and white), but the Carrara Jushu, Jensen, and Pinot Noir were incredibly delicious and to my liking! I haven't had a wine this good in a long time! For the finale, I had both curry and ochazuke, but the curry was quite spicy (I love spicy food, so I was happy). The small amount of rice was so delicious that I wanted to eat more (I also had white rice in between). The desserts were a cheesecake that I had never tasted before, rich and fluffy with cheese slices on top. The parfait had plenty of fruits, and the panna cotta was also good. The Uji sweet potato had a hint of bitterness, which was nice. The meat was tender, and Chateaubriand was the best, as expected. They took their time to cook it in front of us, wrapping it in aluminum foil multiple times. The meat was ready to eat after about 50 minutes. The staff was kind and attentive while cooking. I look forward to going again! Thank you for the meal!

Enjoy a course meal of 200 grams of aged meat. The appetizers include Yukke salad, hamburger asparagus, and more. The meat is slowly grilled in front of you on charcoal. They grill three types of meat - red meat, Ichibo, and sirloin - by searing the surface and resting it on aluminum foil multiple times. Once cooked, they slice and serve it on a plate. The meat has a good balance of salt and the black pepper is delicious. The Ichibo is very tender and tasty. You can choose between Ume dashi chazuke or curry for rice, and there are dessert options as well. The drinks are relatively expensive. The food is delicious, but perhaps not worth the high price.

We visited the restaurant with my mother-in-law and wife for Mother's Day and enjoyed a luxurious dinner featuring aged meat. The service, menu explanations, and course dishes were all impeccable. The yukhoe for the first course was amazing! The mini hamburgers were also delicious. The white asparagus and aged ham with white sauce were outstanding! For the main course, we savored black beef, red beef, and ribeye, each with its own unique flavor. We chose ochazuke for the rice dish, and the dashi was incredibly tasty! For dessert, we selected soft serve ice cream with cafe au lait drizzle to finish. Although we can't go regularly, we will make an effort to visit again.

The other day, I had my first steak ever at this restaurant. This place, which is known to have been visited by a famous idol, is not cheap, but it was definitely worth it. The staff were all very kind, and even though I had my children with me, they took care of everything and we were able to enjoy a comfortable meal. Every dish was delicious and the children enjoyed eating a lot. I would like to visit again on a special occasion.

I always used to buy bento boxes, but this was my first time visiting the restaurant. The aged meat was amazing! I had the steak and yakiniku course, and as expected, I was completely satisfied. The meal started with delicious appetizers that set high expectations. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

I went to a matured meat shop near Nagai Station and ordered a 100g matured meat steak lunch. The rice option was curry rice. The first dish was "Matasaburo special sandwich and salad." The bun-like buns were topped with a generous amount of roast beef. When I tried a slice of roast beef, I could tell the high level of this shop. The thickly cut meat was not dry at all, and the juicy deliciousness of the red meat overflowed. The sweetness and acidity of the dressing paired very well, stimulating the appetite. The main dish was a thick-cut steak of matured meat. Although it was really thick, the knife cut through smoothly. You should chew this meat slowly to savor the unique umami of matured meat. Lastly, the curry rice arrived. The rice and curry came on a small plate, and the slightly spicy curry was already of high quality. I was full and satisfied with the meal.

I visited the Natural History Museum and then went to this restaurant. We ordered a la carte. The avocado and meat carpaccio for the appetizer was simple but had a certain elegance to it, if that makes sense. For the main course, I had the sirloin and my husband had the ribeye. The sirloin had little fat but was packed with flavor and paired well with the Nebbiolo. I usually don't like fatty meat, but the ribeye my husband got was amazing! We will definitely be coming back in the future. ♡

The interior features a stylish and open space with exposed concrete and large windows. With a diverse menu, our choice was the Matured Meat Lunch (Thick Cut Steak of 150g Matured Meat). The Sando Special Sandwich arrived first, and upon tasting, it was delicious! The homemade frankfurter made of matured meat had an explosion of flavor. The thick-cut steak, made from two types of matured meat, offered different textures and flavors, which we enjoyed with salt, garlic, and sauce, enhancing the depth of the meat. The final dish, curry, was a spicy European-style curry. Next time we crave matured meat, we will definitely return. Thank you for the meal.

It had been about 15 years since I last visited. The interior of the restaurant had changed. I ordered the aged beef steak 150g for lunch. Various cuts of meat were served. I added an additional 100g of fillet. The meat was flavorful and delicious. The price was not too high, considering the quality and location.
