Today, many people wanted to eat yakiniku, so we decided to go for a course menu with 7 people. Aside from beer, highball, and makgeolli, there was even sparkling wine, which was rare. We felt that rice and noodles were not necessary, and we were satisfied. We decided to go to a second place. It was a typical Friday night drinking party.

Last time we visited for lunch, so this time we made a reservation online (via Tabelog) for a private room at night, but instead we were seated in a corner of a large room with flooring and sunken kotatsu tables. We had two hungry kids with us but the prices were reasonable so we could order without worry. Orders were placed using a touch panel. We had salted tongue for ¥1628, top harami for ¥1848, black wagyu uchihira steak for ¥1958, stone bibimbap for ¥1045, cold noodles (small) for ¥770, draft beer, freshly squeezed lemon sour, kimchi, and chisha. The salted tongue and uchihira steak were both very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

On weekends, there is always a long line, so today I went for lunch with my daughter in a private room. The private room for two people is perfect for individuals or couples. The lunch comes with rice, soup, and kimchi, and you can have unlimited rice and soup. My daughter had the Upper Harami Lunch for 2068 yen, which also comes with 3 pieces of tongue salt and 2 pieces of chicken. I prefer the Harami, so I ordered two plates for 1298 yen each, along with two glasses of draft beer. The Harami was light and the meat was delicious and tender. I really enjoyed it. I wanted to try the cold noodles as well, but my daughter and I were planning to have dessert afterwards, so maybe next time.

I visited for weekend lunch and tried the regular menu. The yukke comes in a pack, which is good, but it comes with egg sauce and condiments in a plastic pack... It would be better if they could provide a separate plate for the yukke. I ordered the meat salted tongue (they were out of upper salted tongue), Marushin steak, and pork belly. They were decently tasty, but considering the service and overall experience, I felt that the cost performance was not great. Even considering the location, I don't think I will be going back. I heard that this restaurant uses different grills for the lunch menu and the regular menu.

The wakame soup doesn't taste like the typical grilled meat restaurant, it's more like a Japanese-style, homey soup. It seems like the two tables at the front are more accessible for strollers. It was a Sunday lunchtime so there was a short wait of 2-3 groups, but we were seated in about 5 minutes. The meat was tender and juicy, and the portion was generous, so I was full. I visited the yakiniku restaurant Gyu-ta Honjin for the first time, recommended by someone. It was my first time having dinner at the Links Umeda area, and I was surprised to see so many restaurants ranging from stylish ones to cafes, izakayas, and more! Today, I ordered the "Honjin 7000 points course" which costs 8000 yen per person (with an additional 1000 yen for all-you-can-drink). The course included a variety of dishes such as kimchi assortment, namul assortment, mixed salad, selected salted tongue, sirloin steak, selected harami steak, selected lean steak, selected loin, selected kalbi, top harami, top mino, tecchan, grilled vegetables, and dessert. It was a very filling course! I chose the most expensive course among the four available. I was surprised to find a place where you can enjoy delicious yakiniku while overlooking the Umeda night view at Links Umeda! The food was served a bit quickly and filled up the table, but it was so delicious that it didn't bother me at all. With all the dishes and all-you-can-drink included, I think 8000 yen is a great deal! There are also cheaper courses available, making it accessible for students too. It was delicious! I went to LINKS UMEDA on the 8th floor of JR Osaka Station, near OsakaMetro Midosuji Line Umeda Station for lunch. It was still quiet as it had just opened. I ordered the Upper Harami Lunch for ¥2,068. The meal included tongue salt, chicken, upper harami, rice, soup, kimchi, and more. I also ordered extra rice for free. The meal came with rice, seaweed soup, kimchi, bean sprout namul, lemon, tongue salt thinly sliced, chicken, thickly sliced harami, thickly sliced pumpkin, and a shishito pepper. The chicken was small but tasty, the harami had a good thickness and chewy texture, the rice was delicious and generously portioned, and the kimchi was also flavorful.

It's lunchtime and I ordered grilled meat a la carte. The meat was served quickly and was tender and delicious. It was flavorful enough that I didn't even need to dip it in sauce. I had a Black Label beer. I would definitely come back to this place again.

I was looking for a new place to have lunch after my usual steak restaurant in Umeda changed recently. I found this place when I was wondering where to go. The lunch menu starts from 1200 yen (excluding tax). I was a bit concerned about the portion size based on the photos on the website, but the atmosphere seemed nice, so I decided to visit. I was a bit nervous since I had never tried yakiniku alone before. When I arrived, it was on the 8th floor of Links Umeda. As soon as I arrived in front of the restaurant, the staff noticed me and quickly showed me to a semi-private room for two people! This way, I could enjoy my yakiniku without worrying about others around me. This time, I ordered the Harami lunch for 1200 yen. The meat included harami, tan kalbi, chicken, sausage, and grilled vegetables like shishito peppers and pumpkin. Additionally, it came with salad, soup, and kimchi. Of course, there was rice as well. The soup and rice were free refills! The rice was so generously served that even I, who usually eats a lot, didn't need a refill. The soup was wakame soup with a nice salty flavor. The kimchi was quite spicy, which made the rice go down smoothly. The salad had a variety of vegetables with a refreshing dressing. The meat was a larger piece of harami than shown in the menu photos! The tan kalbi had a good chewy texture. Some may find it tough, but the more you chew, the more delicious the tan flavor becomes. It was nice to have genuine beef tongue kalbi instead of pork. Thanks to the semi-private room, I could enjoy my lunch at my own pace without feeling self-conscious. A yakiniku chain with around 20 stores mainly in Kansai and Chugoku region. They offer a wide range of payment options including cash, card, electronic money like PayPay, iD, and Osaka Pay. Located on the 8th floor of the direct link from Yodobashi Umeda. I stopped by after shopping at Yodobashi Camera because my companion said "I could eat something like Korean cold noodles". But as soon as we sat down, they also provided lemon for the sauce, so we decided to grill some meat. [What we had] Cold noodles 850 yen, Upper Kalbi 1,280 yen, Seared meat sushi 4 pieces 1,760 yen, Rich peach juice 400 yen, Bottled beer 580 yen, Almond jelly 380 yen, Shiratama zenzai & coconut milk 580 yen, Total 8,370 yen. Quite a feast... On Saturday at 5:30 pm, there are 2 groups of 6 people waiting. We got a ticket at the EPARK in front of the store and waited for about 10 minutes. There were about 30 customers in the visible area of the store, and I was surprised to see so many families with children! It may depend on the time of day, but it seems to be a popular restaurant for families. Sets and assortments seem to be a good deal (from 3,520 yen). We were ushered into a small private room (2-hour limit), and the atmosphere was quiet. It was very thoughtful of them to ask, "Would you like the cold noodles as soon as they are ready?" Usually, it would be considered the end of the meal. We ordered and the drinks arrived in 5 minutes, followed by the cold noodles in another 5 minutes. It's a double-layered stainless steel container and very cold. The soup with a mild and elegant beef broth, chewy noodles, cucumber, napa cabbage kimchi, chashu, boiled egg, and green onions. Simple and delicious! My companion was very pleased, saying "I wanted to eat this kind of cold noodles!" We left in less than 30 minutes. No smoke or grease smell on our clothes. I used it for the first time. I had heard the name before and was curious about it. I thought it was a high-class yakiniku restaurant, but it was the opposite. The staff didn't come over often... and when I finally thought I could order, the food came very quickly. They forgot the tongs. The taste was okay. It tasted as it looked. Not bad. The kimchi was spicy and delicious. The cold noodles were also delicious.

We decided on yakiniku in Umeda and chose this restaurant. The Links restaurants are all crowded. This place seemed quiet from the outside, but inside it was packed. We chose the Honjin set from the menu. It included raw black tongue, premium lean steak, premium loin, premium kalbi, top harami, lean meat, kimchi, vegetables, salad, and most importantly, a set of three seared sushi. It's about three servings. The sushi meat is seared on a round iron plate and eaten with wasabi soy sauce. Mmm, delicious. All the meat is high quality and tasty. However, eating three servings of meat with no rice for two people was a first for us, and it was a bit overwhelming. I really wanted some rice to go with the delicious meat.

Located on the 8th floor with many private rooms. My kids wanted to have yakiniku, so we went there after playing at Yodobashi for a while. We ordered the Color Set for 4,500 yen. The kids were so hungry that they quickly grilled the meat (haha), so I couldn't take any photos. The biggest disappointment was the seared sushi. 6 pieces for 2,772 yen. The meat was very thin, and when grilled, it shrunk so much that the rice underneath was surprisingly small (1cm thick and 2cm long). It was nothing like the rice shown in the menu photos. Really disappointing!! The meat was okay in tenderness, but the cost performance was poor. I guess it's because of the prime location.

At Umeda Sokosoko, I was called by my eldest child while drinking and came here. I ordered the Honjin set, which was quite pricey, but the meat was delicious. The room we were seated in was an L-shaped private room for two, perfect for couples, but also felt like a good deal for solo diners.
