Located right at the entrance of the shopping street, it was quite crowded on Friday night. They sell take-out kimchi and you can eat it in the back. It's not a place for long stays, but it's good for a quick drink. They had a unique assortment of kimchi that was delicious! The chapchae was also delicious.

At the popular restaurant "Kinann's Homemade Kimchi" in Tsuruhashi, you can try San-nakji. San-nakji is a Korean dish known as "live octopus". Originally, it was only available from January to June due to the octopus growing larger and becoming tougher, making it less enjoyable to eat. However, they have now succeeded in sourcing from a new location, allowing them to serve it until the end of September this year. The sensation of battling the suction cups in your mouth is unique, as the octopus moves when you stop chewing. The fresh octopus provides a great chewy texture. Don't miss the chance to try it!

Sannacchi! It was a really hot day, so it was a bit warm inside the shop, but I enjoyed everything while drinking makgeolli! The ginger kimchi was also delicious. I bought some to take home as a souvenir. It's sealed, so there's no smell!

Visited for the Cha-Jang noodles. The sweet miso sauce of the Cha-Jang noodles here goes really well with the white cabbage kimchi. When I ordered the white cabbage kimchi, they also gave me green onion kimchi as a service. Thank you. The rock seaweed kimchi they gave as a service with the Bibimbap was a great match. When you generously pour the Bibimbap sauce and make it spicy, it's the best. The chive pancake was crispy and delicious. Bought the mountain jellyfish kimchi and white cabbage kimchi as souvenirs. I want to come back again.

When you go to Tsuruhashi, you must visit the shop called "Kim An's Homemade Kimchi"! During busy times, if you give them your phone number, the shop will contact you. I personally recommend the Sunnakkuchi and seafood jeon. On Sundays, the Sunnakkuchi may be sold out, so it's better to go on weekdays. The jeon is crispy because it is cooked after you order it, so it's light enough to eat a whole piece! There are many other menu items and various types of kimchi, including unique ones. Kim An's Homemade Kimchi is located at 3-15-11 Higashi Kobashi, Higashinari-ku, Osaka City, Osaka. Phone: 090-1511-5555. Business hours are 10:30-21:00. #Kim An's Homemade Kimchi #Korean cuisine #Tsuruhashi Koreatown #Tsuruhashi gourmet #Tabelog #Osaka gourmet #Kansai gourmet #Connect with gourmet lovers #Sunnakkuchi #Pure tofu #Seafood jeon #Korean gourmet #Tsuruhashi food tour #Tsuruhashi lunch #Tsuruhashi shopping street #Gourmetstagram #Good restaurants #Connect with those who love delicious food #Like for like #Follow me #Tabelog with a rating of 3.5 or higher #Tabelog Osaka #Dining out diary #Connect with those who love dining out #Foodstagram.

I wanted to eat sannakji, so I visited without a reservation on Saturday night. The restaurant was full, but the manager (I think) said, "We'll make a special seat facing the street for you, so come on in!" and we were seated right away. We had sannakji, ganjang gejang, steamed pork, and chijimi. The kimchi was spicy, but if you like spicy food, you'll think it's delicious. Personally, I thought the sannakji and ganjang gejang were the best. I definitely want to visit again!! Next time, I will make a reservation.

I made a reservation in advance and went. When I arrived, it was still before noon but the restaurant was full, so I'm glad I made a reservation! I came for the octopus dancing sashimi. It was my first time experiencing it. At first, I thought it looked gross, but when I tried it, it was very sweet and delicious! The makgeolli, kimbap, and kimchi were also excellent. Next time, I want to try more menu items.

Located a 1-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station on the Osaka Subway Senichimae Line and JR Loop Line, this Korean restaurant in Tsuruhashi Shotengai is famous for its delicious kimchi, which is also available for purchase online. The interior of the restaurant has a traditional Korean atmosphere, making it a great place to experience authentic Korean cuisine in Osaka. Some recommended dishes include Kimbap (2 rolls for 330 yen), a flavorful sesame oil-infused rice roll, Oden (1 roll for 220 yen), and Japchae (660 yen), a dish with plenty of vegetables and chewy glass noodles in a sweet and savory sauce. The kimchi assortment is a complimentary service and includes seaweed tsukudani, nagaimo, ginger, mountain jellyfish, and small fish. The kimchi here lives up to its reputation of being delicious, and the variety of flavors was truly amazing. I even purchased the mountain jellyfish and ginger kimchi after trying them out.

During my first visit to Osaka's Koreatown in Tsuruhashi, I arrived on a Sunday just before 8 PM, so many shops were closed. However, this place was bustling with activity. There were various types of kimchi for sale in front of the shops, which got me really excited. The shops were clean, the staff were energetic, and all the dishes were delicious. I was able to try my most anticipated dish, San Nakji, and it was the most delicious Jijimi and pig's feet I've ever had. Overall, it was a satisfying Korean meal. Thank you for the feast!

I visited Sannakji Nishi, a Korean restaurant in Tsuruhashi, known as the Korean street of Osaka. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the area was bustling with people and did not seem affected by COVID-19. I made a reservation to try the "tako no odori-gui" (dancing octopus) and yangnyeom gejang. The restaurant was full when I arrived, but I was seated as soon as there was an opening. I ordered the yangnyeom gejang, tako no odori-gui, kimchi pancake, and sundubu. Everything was delicious and perfect for someone who loves Korean food. I have recently developed a taste for spicy food, so it was just right for me. I will definitely be going back again.

Before going on a food tour, I wanted to have some alcohol, so I visited this shop in the shopping street. I shared a bottle of makgeolli and enjoyed some kimbap, japchae, and chive pancake while drinking. I particularly liked the seaweed tsukudani as the first panchan. I wanted to buy some kimchi, but the male staff at the entrance was talking loudly with a customer, so I couldn't buy it and ended up leaving...

I enjoyed delicious Korean food at that table and chairs I saw in a drama. Unfortunately, I couldn't try the raw beef dish because it was only available from January, but I really liked the seaweed kimchi and ginger kimchi that came as a service (appetizer), so I bought some to take home (lol). The restaurant was small and crowded, so it didn't feel very relaxing, but I would like to go back when they have the raw beef dish available next time.

I always make sure to stop by here whenever I go to Tsuruhashi, for about 7 years now. I visit at least 3 times a year. This place is particularly popular within the shopping district. Their kimchi is famous, but I also recommend dining in at the restaurant. I usually order 2 Kimpa rolls, Sundubu jjigae, seafood pancake, and a kimchi assortment (which was on the house that day). It's around 1200 yen per person. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the jjigae, but the seaweed kimchi, Kimpa, and pancake are delicious! And the best part is, they always play BIGBANG music in the restaurant. Even though we are now surrounded by BTS and girl groups, they were playing the X Live @ Kyocera Dome from 2017 on this day. That's probably why the restaurant is always full of customers around the same age or older. VIPs, you should definitely check it out! ^^

I had some free time during my solo trip to Osaka, so I decided to stop by Tsuruhashi around 5pm. The covered shopping street in front of the station had a nostalgic feel to it, different from Tokyo's Shin-Okubo. I didn't eat much, but I really enjoyed the assorted kimchi. In particular, the sliced ginger kimchi and yam kimchi were delicious. They had a refreshing taste that reminded me of summer. I was worried about the smell sticking to my hands if the Yangnyeomseu came out as is, but they cut it into bite-sized pieces and served it with cucumber, which put my mind at ease. The balance of sweetness and spiciness in the Gochujang was just right. The broth for the oden was gentle and went well with beer.

It's my go-to place. It's a kimchi specialty store, but they also serve light snacks like jjigae and jeon. Located in a shopping street, the interior feels like a food stall near Tongdeungmun Market. It's perfect for drinking from noon with kimchi as a snack. You can't go wrong with anything you order. Most importantly, the BGM in the store is BIGBANG. I think I'll continue to visit this place in the future.

Went to Tsuruhashi with my daughter for the first time in a while. Had lunch at #Kinkona's homemade kimchi. The portion size and price were like an izakaya. Thanks to my daughter's small appetite, it was just the right amount. Normally when I'm hungry for lunch, I need to eat about two servings. #Sannakuchi was just as I expected. The unique texture of the suckers sticking to your mouth was wonderful. Delicious. #Tsuruhashi #Kimchi #Momodani #Koreatown #TsuruhashiLunch #OctopusDance-Eating

Yes, this time I went to Tsukahashi to eat "Sannakuchi" (dancing octopus) at Kim An's Handmade Kimchi. The menu I ordered was "Sannakuchi (dancing octopus) for 1890 yen", "Korean oden for 220 yen", "Assorted kimchi for 550 yen", and "Chamisul for 950 yen". I've been wanting to try Sannakuchi for a while, so I made the trip. Kim An's Handmade Kimchi is located just off the shopping street from Tsukahashi Station. They sell kimchi in front of the store, but the dining area is inside. Even if it's full, they take your phone number and let you know when a table is available, which is convenient. I entered the restaurant after a short wait. The atmosphere is like being at a street food stall in Korea. I enjoyed a glass of Chamisul while waiting. Finally, the much-anticipated Sannakuchi arrived! The octopus, freshly cooked right after being taken from the tank at the front of the store, was squirming on the plate, giving off a somewhat grotesque vibe... but it was delicious! You eat it with miso paste, sesame oil, and salt, and it's a real treat for octopus lovers! I also ordered the assorted kimchi, which came with 6 different types - the yam kimchi was particularly good with its crispy texture. The Korean oden is different from the Japanese version, as it consists of various types of processed fish cake skewered and soaked in broth. It's also recommended to eat it with the kimchi. Overall, it was a delightful meal. Sorry for the somewhat grotesque description, but trying out a Korean street food experience like this can be quite enjoyable and give you a taste of a different culture. Enjoy!

Arrived around 11:30 on Saturday and the place was just full, so I had to give my name and phone number and wait for a call. I thought I would have to wait for about 20 minutes, so I enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood. I was seated at the counter, which was quite crowded, but they had transparent partitions on the tables for COVID-19 measures. I wrote my order on a paper and it arrived quite quickly. I ordered a Kimchi assortment with 6 different flavors, each with a slightly different taste, which was satisfying. The seafood pancake was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the sauce was delicious. The Yangnyeomseu had more shrimp than it seemed at first glance, and even people who don't like spicy food would find it easy to eat. Taste: 4, Portion size: 4, Value for money: 4, Service: 4 (Getting a call was great compared to waiting in front of the restaurant), Atmosphere: 3, Waiting time: 4, Likelihood of revisiting: 4.

When you go to Tsuruhashi, be sure to visit this restaurant! They have a variety of menu items such as Chijimi and Kimbap, all of which are delicious. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. The restaurant is not very big, but it was lively with many customers. I forgot the name, but be sure to try the dish where you can eat octopus while it's still moving! I tried it for the first time since visiting Korea.
