I chose this restaurant simply because there was no line and the food came out quickly. But the pork ginger stir-fry was unexpectedly delicious. I intended to give some to my husband, but ended up eating more than half myself. It was hot, so I ordered a coffee float. I'm not sure if it was strong because it was a float, but the coffee flavor was rich and I liked it.

I was drawn to the sample of Napolitan at the store! There is a terrace seat, so my beloved dog Moko can join me too! The Napolitan is served on a hot iron plate. It's a nostalgic Napolitan! Delicious. The pancake and Mont Blanc were also delicious. Next to it is a famous pancake shop. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I had some time to spare before my COVID vaccine appointment at Osaka Castle Hall, so I decided to visit the "Station Front Parlor JO-TERRACE OSAKA" located inside JO-TERRACE. I was hoping to have their strawberry parfait, but unfortunately, all the parfaits and sweets were sold out due to the cherry blossom season bringing in many customers. I was told that floats were still available, so I ordered an Iced Coffee Float for 640 yen. It had a generous serving of soft serve ice cream on top of the iced coffee, creating a delicious combination of smooth bitterness and sweet creaminess. Since the sweets were sold out, customers were turning back at the entrance one after another, and I found myself in a luxurious situation of having the spacious store all to myself. It was a delightful experience. However, the only downside was that there was no restroom inside the store, so I had to go to the restroom on the second floor of the building across the street. The restroom there only had two individual stalls for women, leading to a long line. It could be inconvenient if you are with someone and they have to wait. Overall, it was a lovely experience, despite the restroom situation.

After having a full course Chinese lunch at the "Oni no Konai Restaurant" in Hotel New Otani, I stopped by this cafe right after (lol). Located in a corner of the JO-TERRACE OSAKA convenience facility near Osaka Castle Park. I had the "Magical French Toast" for 780 yen (tax included). I debated adding fruit toppings, but opted for the simple version since the fruit platter was double the price at 1,400 yen. Even though the prices seem to be increasing each year, I was pleasantly surprised to find three slices of French toast instead of the expected two in the photo, making it feel like a good deal. Despite reading some negative reviews on Google later, the sweets received high ratings and I found this French toast to be delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and texture.

I was looking for a place to post a review on the map, but couldn't find it at all, then realized that the map on Tabelog was wrong. The actual store is on the first floor of a food mall right near Joshikoen Station. We entered with a baby stroller and two adults. My husband said, "It's Fuji Food Service!" so those who know, know, I guess. The burgers were reasonably priced and delicious. The tonkatsu set tasted just like the chain restaurant near the station. It makes sense since they have the same parent company. If you want to eat tonkatsu, there is a tonkatsu restaurant nearby, so you can go there instead. There were plenty of families with young children like ours, so we didn't feel out of place, which was nice.

Fuji Food Service operates Jo-Terrace, but surprisingly, not many people gather there at night, so only a few shops are open for evening business. This particular shop only offers set meals, which is quite limiting. Nevertheless, it's better than nothing, I suppose. It's true to Fuji Food Service's style, not hiding the fact that they are the ones behind it. The menu includes set meals like hamburger, fried chicken, and tonkatsu, with sides like Neapolitan pasta and salad. The Italian dishes are surprisingly decent, considering it's just regular rice. It's fitting for the Reiwa era, I guess. The fact that they only serve beer in small bottles actually adds to their appeal. The service from the part-time staff is average, but I expected a bit more effort from the person who seemed like a full-time employee. They could step it up a bit more!

The day before yesterday, I had some errands in Osaka. I went to Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka Castle Park to watch a live viewing of Keyakizaka46. Before the show started, I felt a little hungry and happened to see this sign (photo 1). It was a shop called "Ekimae Parlor". It was a little after 5 pm when I visited, and the shop was about 20-30% full. I was seated at the counter and ordered green tea soba. It arrived in about 3 minutes (photo 3). The taste was as expected, cold, refreshing, and I finished it in no time. Considering the ingredients, I think the cost performance is reasonable. I didn't try other menu items, so it's difficult to evaluate the shop, but the atmosphere was nice.

I stopped by during snack time on a Sunday. It was somewhat crowded on event days. I had the Macadamia Nut Cream Pancakes. The thin pancakes were stacked three layers high. They were fluffy and chewy, and the maple syrup and whipped cream were sweet and delicious! The three layers made it quite large, so it was quite filling. It was a perfect break. Thank you for the meal.

Before the live show. Right near Osaka Castle Hall. Cheap and delicious.

The restaurant was crowded with many customers waiting in the cold, yet there were several empty seats inside and the staff showed no intention of letting anyone in. It seemed like the orders inside were backed up, but the lack of response was too much. It would be better if they at least let people inside. It's a shame to have to give this review without even trying the food, considering the good location.

When I went to Osaka-Jo Hall for an event and arrived early, I decided to have breakfast afterwards. You can get a hot sandwich set or a butter roll sandwich for just around 500 yen. It's so nice to be able to enjoy such delicious food at this price. The coffee is also delicious and you can use it with peace of mind. I wonder if this place is managed by the Fujio Food System from Maido Ookini Dining. Their stability is truly impressive.

Osaka Castle Park has many restaurants that I have been wanting to try, but this particular one always had a line of over 30 people, so I had given up on trying it. However, this time it was almost full but luckily there was a table available at Nanyo. My friend ordered the grilled meat set meal, while I chose the Neapolitan pasta. The Neapolitan pasta was served in a unique iron plate style, but it seemed to be missing the Nagoya specialty of scrambled eggs. After finishing our meal, I noticed that there were 6 male staff members working in the kitchen. There were also 3 waitresses in the dining area, which seemed like a lot of staff, but considering the long line of about 30 people waiting outside, it must be quite challenging for them.

I stopped by for tea after visiting the plum blossoms at Osaka Castle Park. It was a busy time for cafes, but since it was a weekday, I was able to get in without waiting. The interior had a restaurant-like atmosphere with mostly 4-person tables and some counter seats. When I arrived at 3 pm, all the cakes were sold out, so I opted for an iced latte (580 yen + tax). It arrived promptly. The ice cubes were too big, and the soft serve was slightly off-center, which bothered me. The coffee was a bit bitter, so as someone with a sweet tooth, I added syrup and melted the cream to enjoy it. They also offer a variety of rice dishes, pancakes, and other sweets, making it convenient for a pre-concert meal before heading to Osaka Castle Hall.
