Since it was late afternoon, only chunky baked goods were left in the showcase, but when I asked, they said they had chiffon cake available. I had a maple syrup drizzled chiffon cake with a hot latte. The buttery aroma is delicious. It feels nourishing to my exhausted brain after a study session. The cake is on the firmer side for a chiffon cake. It has a solid crust and is puffed up with coarse bubbles, which is just right. This is the first time I've had this type of chiffon cake. The whipped cream served alongside is also firm and complements the texture of the cake well. The latte had two types of coffee available - a strong blend and a lighter blend.
