The individual portion of the premium salted beef tongue was 2,350 yen, while the family set was 6,800 yen. Both had a huge amount of food, but they were very delicious, so we ended up ordering an additional family set. It was really delicious.

I went to Shokugeien, a recommended yakiniku restaurant by a friend, for lunch. Although my husband had been there a few times after golf, it was my first time. It seems to be well-known locally. The restaurant opens at 11:30, but when we arrived 4 minutes early, there was already a line. However, we were able to find parking easily. By 12:30, all the seats were taken, so it's recommended to go early. We ordered the yakiniku set meal (large) for ¥1650 and the hormone set meal for ¥1450. My friend had mentioned that the sauce was delicious, and I found it to have a light yet rich flavor, which was enjoyable. The yakiniku set included loin, harami, and kalbi. The loin just melts in your mouth, and the kalbi has a good chew to it, but all of it was delicious. The hormone set meal included spicy seasoned hormone and tongue. It was tasty, but I think the regular yakiniku set meal might have been a better choice. You can choose from large, medium, or small rice portions, and one refill is free. We both chose medium, but even large would have been fine. The meat is tender, so there were many elderly customers. The large portion size might be just right.

In the city of Kawachi-Nagano, there is a popular yakiniku restaurant called "Shokyu-en" located along Route 26. I always come here for celebrations or when I want to eat some good quality meat. For this visit, we ordered the Family Set A which included tongue, sirloin, beef intestines, rice for 5 people, seaweed soup, assorted kimchi, kalbi, and a beef rib soup. We also had some drinks. We ended up spending about 25,000 yen, but it was worth it. The meat was tender and delicious as always. Even though the set included cuts like kalbi and sirloin that are usually average quality, the meat here is definitely not average. It's always a satisfying meal. Lately, the top harami (skirt steak) has been sold out whenever I come, so I hope to try it again soon. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Whenever I feel like eating yakiniku, this is the restaurant I always go to (*^^*). I have tried various yakiniku restaurants, including high-end and chain restaurants, but I have not found a place that surpasses this one in terms of meat quality and cost performance. The restaurant has table seats and sunken kotatsu seats. I have a 3-year-old daughter, so I preferred the sunken kotatsu seats and made a reservation for 8:00 just in case. There were still vacancies since it was a weekday. On holidays, the parking lot can be so crowded that there is no space to park, so it is essential to make a reservation during peak hours. This time, I ordered a family set for 2-3 people, as well as a kimchi assortment, cold noodles (small), kuppah (regular), egg soup (small), and rice (small)(medium). Even with all these orders, it was less than 10,000 yen. My 70-year-old father, husband, daughter, and I, a total of four people, ate until we were satisfied (Ŏ艸Ŏ). The meat has cuts in it, making it very easy to eat, and the accompanying upper mino is also finely cut, making it the easiest to eat compared to other restaurants (*^^*). My elderly parents who live a little far away also really like this restaurant, and I think it's because the meat is easy to eat due to the cuts. I will definitely use this restaurant again ( ˶ˊᵕˋ)੭♡

I went to eat at Shokuen after many years, and it was my child's first time. The meat is really good! The tender black wagyu beef, elegant fat, not too heavy so you don't get a stomach ache even if you eat too much (lol). It's a bit more expensive than the yakiniku I usually eat, but I'm satisfied. This was my first time at the Kishiwada store. The menu is slightly different from Ho, but since it's still Masakuni-en, I was excited. I made it just in time for lunch. It was really delicious as expected. The fat was light, so I didn't get tired of it and could eat it refreshing.

The yakiniku at this restaurant will make you happy when you eat it. The meat is tender and delicious, and the sauce is amazing. I ordered the C lunch set with yakiniku (large portion), small cold noodles, and small rice. Even though it's a small portion of rice, you can get a free refill, so it's basically a regular portion (lol). The sauce seems to have gotten even more delicious. I wonder if they are researching their secret sauce. I still feel like the Sakai branch is closer to the taste of the previous generation, but it's still delicious. It was busy during lunchtime, and the staff seemed very busy. The trainee seemed inexperienced and had a tough time. The parking lot in front of the store was full. It's amazing. But I always feel like eating yakiniku here regularly... Thank you for the meal.

I went to "Shokyu-en" for the first time in a while. It's a delicious yakiniku restaurant nearby that I love. The "Upper Family Set" and "Salted Tongue" are a must! It was a shame that the "Special Salted Tongue" was sold out. When you quickly grill and eat them... Oh, so delicious! It just melts in your mouth. And Shokyu-en also serves amazing cold noodles! When you slurp them up... Oh, so tasty! The cool, smooth noodles are the best! Even the large portion is easy to finish with a smile. It's delicious even when you add vinegar. It was so tasty! I made a reservation and visited on Saturday night. There are plenty of spacious 4-person seats available. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm and it was fully booked. The meat is high quality and thick, with a wide variety of options. There are also plenty of high-quality hormone options with less fat. Eating the representative yakiniku dish gives you a sense of satisfaction.

The taste of the sauce has changed since the passing of the founder (the recipe was a secret even to the apprentices), but it is still delicious. The sauce at Sakai Ten is closer to the previous one. This popular restaurant has a small parking lot in front that fills up quickly. The staff may seem a bit unfriendly at times (they are probably just part-time workers), but it's understandable given the busy environment.

I hadn't had yakiniku in a while, so I went to "Yakiniku Shokyu-en" along Route 26 in Kishiwada. I was worried it might be crowded, but we were able to sit right away, although it filled up quickly after that. We shared the Bara set meal for 1480 yen and the Rosu set meal for 1980 yen, both with extra meat. With the state of emergency, my girlfriend had to resist having beer (laughs). The meat was still delicious as always, and you can have seconds of rice for free, but we were already so full (laughs). It's a budget-friendly and tasty yakiniku place where you can leave fully satisfied.

On the night we returned from our trip, my family and I visited this restaurant. We arrived around 7pm and the parking lot was crowded, with people rushing to find spots near the entrance. We managed to find a space and went inside. There were a few groups waiting near the entrance, but we had a reservation and were seated at a table in a private room. I went for lunch. It was crowded so I went around 1 pm and was able to sit right away. I ordered the special mixed grill set and extra beef tongue for one person. Even though it's labeled as one serving, it's more like a serving for two at other yakiniku restaurants. The beef tongue is not too tender, so I think thick slices have a better texture and taste. I wonder how many grams of meat it is? Maybe around 150g-180g? The meat has just the right amount of fat and is good enough for a lunch option. You can get one extra bowl of rice, and it comes with bean sprout namul, kimchi, and soup, so the portion was satisfying. The quality, quantity, and taste at this price point is great value for money.

This is for lunch. I ordered the yakiniku lunch and kalbi lunch. The kimchi and moyashi namul that came out first were simple but of high quality. The meat was top quality and tender, incredibly delicious! The fact that you can eat this meat for less than 2000 yen is great value for money. The seats were spacious and I was able to relax. The staff were polite and provided excellent service. It was a new discovery even though it was in the neighborhood. I will definitely come back again.

I think it's worth it to eat this level of meat at this price! I usually come for lunch, so it's rare for me to come at night. If the drink selection was a little better, that would be great. It's a bit disappointing that I can't have beer since I can't drink it. If they had ginger highballs, that would be the best!
