The warm and cozy interior of the wooden restaurant was crowded, but we were seated relatively quickly. The staff were efficient and friendly. While waiting for our food, we heard cheerful music approaching, and to our surprise, a drone delivered our meal. It was my first time at this location, and I ordered the "Chicken Nanban and Warm Vegetable Set Meal." The dish was generously topped with sauce and tartar sauce, and I was very satisfied. The side dishes were also delicious and fulfilling.

Fuji Food's chain of teishokuya. This set meal costs 1200 yen. It was just an average taste, nothing special. It would have been better if it was priced under 1000 yen. Also, the dish that arrived was different from what I ordered, but I ate it reluctantly since I am a bit timid. I won't be coming back.

Second visit. After my regular health check-up, I decided to stop by this restaurant again. Just like last time, I ordered the shrimp fry, which looked even better than the sample displayed outside. I also tried the grated hamburger. The shrimp fry that was served was surprisingly large and had a strong presence, much bigger than the shrimp in the sample. Usually, it's the other way around where the sample looks better than the actual dish, but here it was the opposite. It makes me wonder if the restaurant is losing money by not showcasing the large shrimp fry on their display. It might be a good idea to show a sample with large shrimp on it. I really appreciated that the meal was packed with vegetables, and I could have unlimited rice and miso soup refills.

Today's lunch was at "Sachifukuya CAFE" in Namba CITY! I ordered the "Chicken Nanban with plenty of hot vegetables set meal." Looking back at my review, I realized I had ordered the same thing last time too. Maybe because it's double-fried, the service was quick. Let's dig in! Along with the Chicken Nanban, there were deep-fried vegetables like pumpkin and eggplant. It's a bit greasy but delicious! You can choose between white rice and mixed grain rice, and I chose white rice. The meal also came with miso soup, 3 side dishes (burdock root with sesame, hijiki seaweed, macaroni salad), and pickles. The portion was a bit small at first, so I had a second helping of rice! The main dish and miso soup were delicious, and there were also small side dishes that gave a healthy vibe. There were a few male customers, but the majority were female. The thinly sliced orange in the fruit plate was quite small, so I wished there was a bit more. The three shrimp fries that my companion ordered were luxurious and satisfying for the price.

After going outside, it started to rain heavily, so I took shelter in the underground shopping area of Namba City. I noticed that there were quite a few new shops, and I decided to try "Sachifukuya CAFÉ" for the second time. I ordered the famous mother's simmered mackerel and tender daikon radish set meal [with 15-grain rice] for 980 yen. I chose the simmered mackerel over the dried mackerel, and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. After finishing my meal, I cautiously peeked outside and saw that the sun was shining brightly again. Well, at least I didn't get wet. I made my way home with a sense of accomplishment, and I have no regrets.

A couple of years ago, I remember going to another Sachifukuya location where you could have unlimited rice, miso soup, and side dishes like mentaiko. I wonder if they've changed their policy. Eating out often leads to unbalanced nutrition, so this place is recommended for those times. The average price seems to be around 1200 yen. Considering the content, it's not expensive. However, as a salaryman, spending over 1000 yen for lunch can be a bit of a barrier. I would go more often if it was around 1000 yen or less.

I went to have lunch at 11:54. There are two restaurants in Namba CITY that I want to try, but they always have long lines. I didn't want to wait in line, so I came here instead. I ordered the crispy golden fried chicken with warm vegetable and green onion flavored sauce set meal. You can have unlimited rice and miso soup. I used a coupon from Groupon to get ¥100 off.

The first staff member who noticed me when I entered, even though they were in the kitchen, surprised me by ignoring me without a greeting. I went to SachiFuku to enjoy their gentle set meal that I always feel like eating periodically! I had their spring limited-time set meal. The fish was delicious, of course, but personally, I really enjoyed the bamboo shoot rice! Since I live alone, I rarely eat bamboo shoot rice, so it brought back some nostalgic feelings. ✨
