Therefore, many devoted fans eagerly await their availability at Costco each year. It's a product that I also love.

Today, I went shopping at Costco Kurayama and had lunch there. Of course, I had the Quarter Pound Hot Dog with soda (refills are free) for 180 yen. I love to load up my hot dog with onions, mustard, and everything else. It's a great deal for my wallet and fills me up. I'm grateful for the efforts of the company.

I had a meal at the Costco food court for the first time in a while. I always make sure to try the limited-time Porcini Pizza for 380 yen and the limited-time Shrimp Bisque for 430 yen when they are available. I also had a hot cafe latte for 150 yen and a mix of caramel soft-serve ice cream for 270 yen. If you like cream stew, you will definitely enjoy this pizza.

I tried the new chili cheese potato. It was delicious! The chili, cheese, and potato were all tasty and in perfect balance. It has an American feel to it. The "chili" is more like the seasoning in chili con carne, not spicy. It has a Mexican taco seasoning flavor. Even kids would enjoy it. It was delicious, but at 680 yen, it's a bit pricey compared to a hot dog...? (For reference, this portion is enough for 1-2 people)

I bought the seasonal limited edition Cotton Candy Grapes that were available. They are from Chile, 1.36kg for 1598 yen. When I opened the lid, a sweet cotton candy scent wafted out. These grapes can be eaten with the skin on. They are my favorite grapes sold at Costco. They are seasonal limited edition, so if you see them, I recommend buying them. I suggest choosing the ones that are yellow and have a sweet smell. Also, I highly recommend Walkers chocolate cookies, they are really delicious.

The cheeseburger is heavy and very filling. The patty is not very juicy, but the meat flavor is strong. It really gives you a taste of America.

I had never tried "bisque" soup before, so I decided to buy and try it. I chose the Chicken Tomato Bisque for 350 yen (tax included). The chicken pieces were about 2cm in size and cubed breast meat. It didn't have the dry texture typical of breast meat, but it was oddly moist and not to my liking. "Bisque" is supposed to be a rich cream-based soup (French cuisine), but this soup tasted like a mix of tomato pasta sauce and dairy, which didn't suit my taste at all. I immediately thought, "Hmm... this is not for me." (My husband seemed to like it, so I gave him the rest. *chuckles*) Overall, I don't think I'll buy this soup again, but I have no major complaints about Costco itself, so I gave it a rating of 3 stars.

Last Friday, I cooked a dish using the pork belly I bought. Even with the pandemic, Costco had a good selection. I fried the pork belly in a pan and used "Yoshida's sauce" and "Garlic granules" that I also bought there, along with "Dashi soy sauce" from Shirakawa water source in Kumamoto prefecture. I sprinkled a bit of each and it was ready. I poured the pork over a bowl of rice, making sure to get all the fat and sauce. I also boiled some water to enjoy a cup noodle on the side. Let's dig in! First, a bite without anything else... delicious! The sweet sauce goes well with the rice. Next, I'll try adding some shichimi spice. Also delicious! Then, I'll try adding pickled ginger! It's a perfect match, the rice disappears quickly. I should post this on Cookpad too! Bon appétit! Oh, I should have tried adding mayonnaise too!

I'm having a barbecue in the backyard with meat bought at a low cost. Enjoying some Ruby and Chuhai from noon. It's the best. This is also good in its own way. It's still before 2 pm, how long can I keep drinking... It's surprisingly cheap and the meat is delicious!

Once again, I ended up having dinner while drinking, so I recommend this yakisoba. The noodles are chewy and amazing. I also like to have it with rice on the side. Some people might find it strange, but it's normal for me. I'm from Fukuoka, after all. Yakisoba and rice are the best combination. This time, I had it without any toppings, but I often have it with cup yakisoba.

I entered the store in the afternoon, but since I paid around 6:00 PM, I decided to post it under "night". The total amount spent includes only the pizza and soft serve ice cream. Although this snack may be divisive, I personally liked it. The store was not as crowded as last time, but still quite busy. It seems that going early in the day might allow for a more relaxed shopping experience.

Sometimes I go there and buy various things. When I bought their pizza, delivery pizza suddenly seemed like a luxury item. For around 1400 yen, you get a huge pizza. It's hard to convey the size, but those who have been there will understand. The potato chips are also huge. With this size, if you were to order delivery, it would probably cost around 5000 yen. I revisited the Trias Hisayama after a long time. This Costco inside was the reason I decided to renew my membership. It was surprising to see the huge number of customers despite the heavy rain that day. I realized that I need to be prepared to spend half a day there next time. Here's what we ate at the food court: - My choice: Chicken Caesar Salad for 680 yen. It was a generous portion of chicken breast Caesar salad. It's enough for one person, but sharing with 2-3 people would be just right. - Husband's choice: Cheeseburger for 680 yen. He said it was like a typical American hamburger. - Daughter's choice: Quarter Pound Hot Dog for 180 yen. The best value among the three choices. You can add toppings like onions and relish as much as you want, and it comes with free refills of soft drinks. We also bought Indian Chicken Salad Wraps from the deli section. It came with 5 wraps for 899 yen. It had steamed chicken, lettuce, carrots, and red cabbage wrapped in spinach tortillas with curry and yogurt fillings. It was satisfying, but we found it a bit difficult to finish all 5 wraps. I wish the food court had more seating options, so I gave it a rating of 2.9 stars. Overall, I'm glad I renewed my membership and I might post again when I feel like it.

Today is Father's Day, and we went from Hakata Station to Costco in Hisayama Town in East Ward to buy household items. After shopping, we took a light break. We usually eat pizza or hot dogs, but today we tried the new Black Cherry Sundae and Clam Chowder. The Clam Chowder was light and the Black Cherry had a rich cherry sauce that paired well with the cream.

When you go to Costco, you can't miss out on the hot dog and drink set. It's only 180 yen and you can refill your drink as much as you want. You can also customize your hot dog with toppings like pickled cabbage and minced onions. I also ordered the clam chowder, which was full of ingredients and came with crackers. It's very popular! They also have pizza, hamburgers, and more on the menu.

Costco now has cocoa soft serve ice cream! For 200 yen, you get this much and this quality. It's so delicious that you can keep eating and eating, but it never seems to run out. I chose the mix of cocoa and vanilla, and it's not too rich in chocolate flavor, which I love.

New Year's visit to Costco in 2019 - I didn't buy anything haha. Just some meat and toilet paper. But the real reason I came was for the Clam Chowder (300 yen). It may look small in the cup, but it's actually a decent portion. I crush up the crackers and mix them in, so delicious! It's packed with ingredients, so it's quite filling. But seriously, the amount of people at Costco is insane (sweat).
