August 5, 2022. This was my first visit. About three months ago, I came across information online about a limited-time melon-flavored "cheese puff," a sweet treat similar to cream puffs. Being a big fan of melon, I really wanted to try it! However, I never had the chance to go to Shinjuku where it was available, or I felt too lazy to take the train in the heat... So, I missed out on it. On this day, I happened to be in Shinjuku for some errands. I thought to myself, "There probably won't be any melon flavor left..." but decided to give it a shot anyway. And to my surprise, they had it!!! I also ordered the regular Camembert cheese flavor to compare the two. The "Cheese Puff Melon Flavor" had a double cream of mascarpone and melon. The choux pastry was described as "crispy fluffy," and it truly was! It was not your typical cookie choux or regular choux pastry, but something in between, with a good bite yet soft texture. It's hard to describe... but the term "puff" suits it well! And as for the cream... it had a strong melon flavor! You could even smell the melon aroma. The combination with mascarpone cream added a milky richness, which was perfect! The "Cheese Puff Salt & Camembert Flavor" had the same choux pastry as the melon flavor. The cream was also delicious! You could distinctly taste the slightly unique flavor of Camembert, which was impressive! Additionally, there was a hint of saltiness that added a nice touch to the sweetness. Even my husband, who isn't really into sweets, really enjoyed the flavors. Considering the size, it may be a bit pricey, but it's undeniably delicious, so it's definitely worth trying! I look forward to the next limited-time flavor release, as I'm sure it will be just as enjoyable. Thank you for the meal!

Honey & Gorgonzola Gorgonzola is not my favorite, but it's not too strong, just a hint of flavor. Surprisingly, it's a taste that grows on you. It's not overly sweet, with a nice balance. It doesn't have the typical buttery taste of cookies, making it easy to eat. Perfect for a gift.

This is delicious! Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory's Honey & Gorgonzola. The appearance is just like Shiroi Koibito. The biscuit part is moist and crispy. The cheese inside is my favorite taste! It's like a Quattro Formaggi pizza. The bitter cheese with sweet honey is the best match. The person who came up with this is a genius!

The Milk Cheese Factory in Shinjuku, famous for its cheese cookies, offers soft serve ice cream at their store. I was curious about it, so I decided to have it for lunch. They have three flavors - cheese, milk, and mix. I chose cheese. The soft serve is handcrafted in-store and served in a cone. I paid the fee and received a fairly heavy soft serve with a strong cheese aroma. I started eating from the top, and it was quite sweet with a gooey texture that melts smoothly. Though initially sweet, it had a lingering saltiness. They use four types of cheese, but I mostly tasted a Cheddar-like flavor. I also enjoyed the crunchy cone, made with Vintage Cheddar Cheese. It had a strong salty taste and would be great as a snack with alcohol. I usually prefer soft serve in a cup, but the cone was a nice touch that complemented the sweetness of the ice cream. The soft serve had a generous amount throughout the cone, making it quite filling. It was a delightful meal!

I love soft serve ice cream. As I was passing by, my eyes met with the soft serve ice cream and although I initially walked past, I couldn't resist the temptation and ended up buying it. I chose the Milk flavor for ¥480 from a shop famous for their cheese. I was tempted by the Cheese flavor as well, but I personally prefer Milk flavor. When I tried it, it had a Milk base but with a hint of Cheese flavor. Looking at the ingredients, it was made with Jersey milk from Tokachi, mascarpone cheese, and fresh cream. The scent of mascarpone was more prominent than the Milk flavor, giving it a subtle Cheese taste. The waffle cone had a slight salty taste and seemed to contain Cheddar cheese, fitting the theme of Milk and Cheese specialty store. The crispy texture of the waffle cone complemented the Cheese-flavored soft serve ice cream perfectly. The cookie that came with it was a new flavor and it felt like a bonus. The cookies from this shop are popular and very delicious. They have a variety of snacks that would make great gifts. I think this shop is very versatile and I will definitely visit again. It suddenly got hot in Tokyo (;´A｀) I was melting, so I headed to Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory near the front of Pi Hole on the B2 floor of LUMINE 1 to seek some relief. Many people were buying 3 or 4 boxes of cookies in front of the store, presumably for souvenirs. While waiting in line, they let me try two different kinds of cookies, and they were really delicious (^q^) Perfect for gifts! Ignoring the cookies, I ordered a soft serve ice cream (500 yen). Am I a grade schooler clutching a 500 yen coin, or am I an adult? But the staff greeted me with a smile. The soft serve was a mix of milk and cheese flavors, with a hidden Camembert cheese taste. The gentle sweetness of milk and the richness of cheese, all in one, was a luxurious treat. The waffle cone with a hint of Cheddar cheese and a touch of salt was a nice touch. Enjoying such a luxurious taste for just one coin is such a great deal!

I visited here around 4 pm on a regular day because I wanted to try the soft-serve ice cream made with Calpis. There was one person buying cookies. Two groups of people were sitting at the stand tables enjoying their soft-serve ice cream. There is a pick-up window for the ice cream, but you pay at the same place where you buy cookies. I received a waiting number and got served immediately without waiting. I chose the mix flavor which costs 500 yen. The cheese flavor has a slight yellowish tint, so I started with the white one. They use Jersey milk from Tokachi, Hokkaido, and mascarpone cheese. The ice cream had a rich taste, but the texture was amazing, as expected from Calpis. The cheese flavor consists of two types of cream cheese and Hokkaido gouda cheese, but it wasn't overwhelmingly cheesy. It was richer than the milk flavor, but not drastically different. The waffle cone was more crispy and prone to breakage than firm, and I found the salty cheddar cheese bits enjoyable. It was unique and very delicious! The alternating salty taste of the cheddar cheese with the cold and smooth soft-serve ice cream made for a great combination that kept me interested. The exceptional texture of Calpis ice cream really stood out. Thank you for the meal!

Landgusha, which is often used as a rich and delicious souvenir, is a favorite among women because they love cheese. I visited the shop late at night this day. Lumine is always crowded with young girls, making older women feel a bit out of place. I was thinking of buying bread for tomorrow, maybe some snacks too, when I saw they were selling soft serve ice cream! It was my first time seeing it, so I had to try it. I bought a mix of milk and cheese flavors and ate it standing at a nearby table. It was about the size of Cremeria, with a cone that was light and crispy. The waffle was quite thin, the milk flavor was creamy and not too rich, while the cheese flavor was quite strong. However, it wasn't heavy, so it was refreshing to eat. I wish they sold it elsewhere too, it was delicious.

In the Shinjuku area, there are probably three shops that use Calpis for their soft serve. I went to one shop last time, and this time, the second shop is located on the B2 floor of Lumine 1. I ordered the Cheese Soft Serve for 500 yen (tax included). The masterpiece arrived with the sound of the Calpis gear pump. Look at the photo - it looks beautiful. Also, they make their own homemade waffle cones on the side. I took a bite. This is the essence of Calpis - the melting speed is incredible, and the overrun is high. The slight cheese flavor is just right. Since it's a cheese shop, you have to try it. And the waffle cone - the taste is like a cheese cookie, which doesn't really match with the soft serve. But it's still good. Overall, I love soft serve, but the cheese flavor was just not the right fit. Thank you for the meal.

The shop was a bit hard to find, tucked away in an unfamiliar location. It had a touristy vibe with a mix of soft-serve ice cream and souvenir items, making it seem like a place you had to buy something. Despite feeling a bit overwhelmed by the variety of products and the number of staff, I managed to purchase the most popular Camembert cheese Langue de Chat cookies for the gift and for myself to try. When I shared the cookies with my colleagues at work, some said they were not too sweet and would make a good snack with alcohol. Personally, I felt the happiness from eating the cookies was not very strong due to the lack of sweetness, but I appreciated the sense of luxury.
