食いしん嬢Y
After visiting Universal Studios Japan with my mother, we decided to have a Spanish lunch the day before and a meal at Universal Studios for lunch. In the end, we felt like having a cozy Japanese meal, so we ended up at this place. We weren't very hungry yet, and I'm not a big fan of fish, so I had the Kyoto Bubuzuke set for 1,080 yen. It came with fluffy rice, delicious pickles, grated yam, white miso soup, and a small simmered dish, which all added a nice touch of Japanese comfort. But I must say, 1,080 yen seems a bit pricey for this. My mother, on the other hand, loves fish and ordered a set that came with fish. Honestly, it felt like a set that wouldn't fully satisfy a man, let alone us girls. We had lunch at 2 pm and dinner at 7 pm, yet we still didn't feel completely full. Oh, I remember now, they offered free refills for rice, so maybe we should have filled up on rice? It's like a Yoshinoya move. Lastly, we ordered coffee, which had a nice aroma but cost around 450 yen, a bit luxurious for us common folks. But the atmosphere was nice, and the food was tasty, so overall it was a pleasant experience. If you're looking to relax and enjoy a light meal while experiencing a sense of Japanese comfort, this place might be a good choice.
