Vintage-style posters and elegant lighting create a relaxed dining atmosphere. Among the many menu items we ordered, the highly recommended dish is the thick-cut tongue! The salt-seasoned meat had a firm texture and juicy flavor that was simply amazing. In addition to the tongue, we also ordered the rare cut Kohira. The melt-in-your-mouth texture was truly impressive and left us speechless. When it comes to horumon, a set of four kinds including Tecchan, Harami, Korikori, and Senmai are served, each with its own unique characteristics. The tangy sauce that accompanied the meat was also exceptional. The restaurant also offers lunch limited menu items. We had the Tempai Harami Don, which had a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that was truly unforgettable. Lastly, we can't forget the Hatsu Sashi when it comes to yakiniku. The freshness of the red meat combined with garlic and wasabi (is it just me? I received advice that it's delicious to eat with garlic and wasabi for other meats) brought out the true flavor of the meat. Many sports players visit this smoke-free yakiniku restaurant located about a 2-minute walk from Shijo-Nawate Station. Despite being a yakiniku restaurant, it's revolutionary that the smell doesn't stick to your hair! The meat is delicious when eaten with garlic and wasabi. The interior has a chic atmosphere with counter seats available for solo diners. The sauce is so delicious that you can even purchase it to take home. The yakiniku with tender and fresh meat was incredibly tasty! Highly recommend trying it with garlic and wasabi. Enjoy your meal!

Located right near Shijo Tanabe Station, this yakiniku restaurant is run by a former American football player who has a keen eye for selecting delicious meats at reasonable prices. Sports players also frequent this place. The freshness of the heart sashimi is evident from its appearance! You can order with confidence knowing that everything you try will be delicious. The thick and large tongue, 4 types of hormone platter, and special Tempe meat platter were amazing. They offer a daily selection of delicious meats for 2-3 people at a bargain price of 3500 yen. The sauce, lemon, kombu salt, and the special Tenpei soy sauce (which is also available for purchase) were all delicious. The generous serving of green onions topped off the experience. Mixing ginger with Tenpei soy sauce was my favorite combination! This restaurant is a gem for those living nearby.

Located in a residential area near Shijo-Nawate Station, this yakiniku restaurant serves lunch every day except Monday. Their specialties are the harami donburi and curry, but this time I tried the pork donburi. It has a sweet and savory flavor that goes well with the rice, and the portion size is satisfying even without ordering extra. I recommend trying the meat soup that comes with the set as well.

Today, I came here. I found a yakiniku restaurant near "JR Gakken Toshi Line - Shijonawate Station" from my current location. Japanese pop music is playing♪ The stylish atmosphere inside the restaurant has a kitchen at the back, a high counter with 8 seats in front, and 3 table seats on the left and right. The place is run by two lively men. The menu includes "Harami Don (150g) with Meat Soup" as the main dish, along with options to combine rice, noodles, soup, and side dishes to your liking. Of course, you can also enjoy yakiniku here. I ordered the "Harami Don (150g) with Meat Soup". First, the soup arrived, and shortly after, the donburi came. The hot soup has a slight sesame oil aroma, with tender motsu, roughly cut leeks, and shimeji mushrooms inside, making it quite delicious. The donburi, which arrived a bit later, was not the usual sweet and savory yakiniku sauce, but a sharp soy sauce-based sauce. When mixed with the egg yolk and eaten, it had a somewhat similar taste to a tuna donburi with rice and meat version. The soy sauce sauce was quite salty with a large amount, and the wasabi topping made my temples ache gradually. I finished it soon. While the dish had its own uniqueness, it may be a bit divisive in terms of taste preference. It would have been better if you could choose the seasoning. Service was good. Thank you for the meal. Personal perspective: no wheelchair access, no washlet in the back, no parking available.

On this day, I finished my errands near Shijo-Nawate Station in Daito City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan and decided to have lunch at the stylish yakiniku restaurant "Tenpei". The restaurant is located down a side street from the main road, so it may be a little hard to find. They offer two lunch options: Harami Don and Curry Rice. The restaurant was featured on Kansai TV's show "Yo-i Don". The atmosphere is trendy and they even have a sticker of "Neighboring Living National Treasure" in the middle. The alcohol selection is also impressive. The Harami Don was thick and juicy, with a rich flavor and a nice balance of sweetness and sharpness. It had a typical yakiniku restaurant soup taste. The Harami Don (150g) with meat soup costs 850 yen (excluding tax). The meat was thick and the meat juice was plentiful, delivering a straight-forward umami flavor. It was delicious to eat with wasabi and mixing the egg yolk with rice and wrapping it in the meat. However, the chopped green onions were a bit too chunky. Thank you for the meal.

It's delicious. When you come here, you must try the grilled eel, especially for first-timers! Other places may have a strong smell, but the grilled eel at Tenpei is really delicious!!! The only downside is that in the past, everything was only 500 yen and very cheap, but now most items are 800 yen or more... It used to be a cheap and delicious yakiniku restaurant. Now it's just a good yakiniku restaurant at normal prices. The taste is still delicious as before, but the hidden gem and good deal feeling from the past is gone, which is a shame...

This restaurant offers great value for money when it comes to enjoying yakiniku! The staff are friendly and easy to talk to, creating a comfortable atmosphere. All the meats were delicious, but the assorted meat platter dipped in the original soy sauce was especially fantastic! It's also conveniently located near the station, so I highly recommend it to anyone using Shijo-Nawate Station!

I had the recommended set of three kinds of soup, beef tongue for two people, and cold noodles today. The charcoal grill had good ventilation, so we could relax without worrying about smoke. ❤️

This has been my go-to place since it opened. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is welcoming for women, with a good mix of families and couples as customers. They can combine tables to accommodate large groups, but I usually go with a small group and sit at the counter. I always start with the yam kimchi, which has a nice texture and is not too spicy. Then I order the heart sashimi, which is delicious with sesame oil and green onions. I also get the Chanja cucumber with miso before ordering the main meats: salted harami, W hormones (shimachou, tetchan), urute, salted tongue, pork sausage, and a vegetable platter (asparagus, young corn, lotus root), all ordered with salt. The red spicy condiment they serve with the meat is a must-try. The meats are all delicious and not smelly at all, especially the urute which has a great texture. The harami is lean and easy to eat, and the sausage is not your average wiener so give it a try. The vegetable platter always has seasonal vegetables, and I always go for the young corn. Dip it in the vegetable broth for a great flavor! The drinks are all served in large glasses, and they give you two bottles of black oolong tea. If you don't finish it, you can take it home in a bottle. The restaurant is close to the station, so I recommend making a reservation before going. Enjoy the delicious and fresh hormones!

I wanted to eat horumon. I was in Daito, so I searched and found this place. I eat horumon in the city once a week. I was looking forward to trying it in Shin Tenchi this time. When I went to the restaurant, it was unexpectedly stylish. I was expecting a dirty yakiniku restaurant. Hmm, quite nice. And it's good that everything is priced at 500 yen. I ordered a lot of horumon for starters. It was delicious, but the eating style was not quite right. Some people may like it, but I think horumon is best with sauce. I also had curry soba, but the noodles were cheap. It would be nice if they used noodles made from 100% Japanese wheat, or added some improvements to the noodles. The horumon and the finale were a bit disappointing. Soft drinks for 500 yen are overpriced. I felt like the quality was a bit lower than in the city. I think just a few changes could make a big difference.

At Kita-Kawachi, I was looking for a yakiniku restaurant and came across a review by Masachan. As a lover of horumon, I decided to give it a try. My impression... (;´д`) It was incredibly delicious. The double horumon with plenty of fat was sweet and a must-try. I highly recommend it. The harami, especially when eaten with salt, was also delicious. The restaurant has a beautiful interior, making it perfect for a date. The prices are very reasonable at 500 yen per dish (some are 1000 yen). I have found a new favorite restaurant! (^3^)/

Masachan, on March 11th, a friend invited me to go to a newly opened yakiniku restaurant near JR Shijonawate. It's only a 2-3 minute walk south-southwest from JR Shijonawate Station, so it's quite close. The restaurant seemed to have many acquaintances, as there were many flowers displayed. The manager used to play American football in Kanto and now coaches at a university football team in Kansai, so he seems to know a lot of people. The interior of the restaurant was bright, clean, and didn't give off a typical yakiniku vibe. It felt more like a bar and was appealing to women. The menu consisted of everything priced at 500 yen, with only shoulder triangle priced at 1000 yen. Drinks were also all 500 yen, with a variety of shochu available at a great deal. We started with Yamazaki highball and Isami sweet potato shochu. The menu included various items like harami, hatsu sashimi, kimchi, rebo, leedbo, thick-cut hatsu, and more. Each dish was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would recommend visiting this restaurant when you're in the area.

I visited the restaurant at night (^-^) The interior was stylish, with a yakiniku restaurant where you grill your own meat on a charcoal grill. I was looking for a stylish yakiniku place in Shijonawate, and the atmosphere was nice. However, they had a lot of lean meat, so I ordered a three kinds of meat platter and harami, but it was a bit chewy. The hormone was delicious though (^_^) The staff were energetic and friendly though.

Everything here is priced at a flat rate of 500 yen, making it very straightforward. The owner is a former American football player with connections in the sports world, as evidenced by the many autographs on the walls. The interior of the restaurant is stylish, showcasing the owner's taste. While the focus is on hormone dishes, everything is fresh and can be enjoyed with just salt. You can also try dipping the meat in yuzu pepper or Korean chili paste, setting it apart from other restaurants. Rice can be refilled up to 3 times, and soft drinks are served in 1-liter bottles that you can take home if there's any left. While the meat is not all priced at 500 yen, you can choose from various cuts like sirloin, filet, ribeye, kalbi (depending on availability that day). The owner is very particular about the quality of the meat. The drink menu is extensive, and there are plenty of side dishes available. Whether you're looking for a budget-friendly hormone-centric meal or a special occasion celebration with meat, this restaurant is sure to satisfy both types of customers. Due to the limited seating, reservations are recommended. Lunch is only available on weekdays, also priced at 500 yen flat rate. Additional note from a visit on 7/19: I tried the Chateaubriand for the first time (priced at 3500 yen for one person). The meat was lightly grilled with just salt and coarse ground pepper, served with wasabi. It was incredibly delicious, with a refined fattiness to it. It felt like eating only the fatty part of aburi toro sushi. Yesterday, they had a rare cut called kainomi. If you're not sure about the cuts, don't hesitate to ask the owner. He will kindly explain everything to you.

The owner's obsession with meat is unparalleled, and once you try their limited-time meat, it's hard to go back to other places. All menu items are priced at a flat rate of 500 yen, making it easy to understand. The spicy soup with hormones is delicious and will get you hooked on it. The meat is best eaten without sauce. If they offered sauce, it would probably attract even more customers. We only stayed for about an hour, but there were a lot of customers coming in and being turned away. The taste is authentic, which is why this place is likely to become popular.
