It's our 30th wedding anniversary, so we decided to go to a reliable French restaurant in the local area. We have been going there for many years and the subtle seasoning and meticulous preparation of each dish never fail to impress. This place stands out from others that simply serve pasta or a big steak as part of their French course. Here, you can truly enjoy authentic French cuisine. Each dish is like a work of art on a plate, creating a world of flavors with various ingredients and colorful sauces. I will comment on the dishes with the captions of the photos as far as I can remember. One thing I really wanted to mention is the grape juice that is only available at this time of year! I had a glass of house rosé wine, but when I tried my wife's grape juice, I was amazed by its rich yet light deliciousness and how perfectly it paired with the food! The menu for mid-April is 6,500 yen. It's still available, so be sure to try it out!

Menu A - ¥4500
The ingredients, seasoning, presentation, and plate all evoke a sense of summer. The appetizer trio includes octopus tart, edamame and nori fritter, and chicken ham with scallop in tomato sauce, consomme jelly, and squid ink cookie. For the main course, there is seared natural red snapper with sake-steamed clams, barley and tomato sauce, and moroheiya sauce. The dish also includes duck steak with black pepper sauce. For dessert, there is milk gelato, passion fruit and mango sorbet with honey lemon, matcha mousse, fresh chocolate, and raspberry macaron. The meal is served with hot coffee and freshly baked bread.

The meal continues with potato potage, consommé jelly, smoked young yellowtail, tomato basil sauce, pea potage, pan-fried sea bream with firefly squid and chorizo sauce, roasted duck with kumquat sauce, and orange and chocolate sorbet. The meal ends with three types of tea sweets: pudding, chocolate, and lemon sablé, along with freshly baked bread and tea.

I visited for lunch. Since it's a small restaurant, it quickly gets full. I was very satisfied with the warm atmosphere and delicious food.

The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit, giving off a high-class atmosphere. The water served in a glass is delicious! They say that a restaurant with delicious water also serves delicious food, so I'm really looking forward to it. Today, I'm feeling great and in a rich mood, so I ordered the B lunch for 3990 yen (*^▽^*). The appetizers consisted of two dishes - one with lotus root and taro, and the other with pork cheek. Both were delicious. I'll try making the lotus root dish at home soon, it's so good! The grilled conger eel with paprika jelly was amazing. The jelly texture is irresistible. The fish dish was probably saury. I forgot the sauce, but the finely chopped vegetables underneath were tasty and easy to eat. Even though the sauce looked rich, the crunchy kaiware on top was delicious. This place really pays attention to the ingredients. The salad was great. For the meat dish, I chose steak with beef this time. The meat was tender, and the assorted vegetables were great in both taste and texture. I was surprised to find winter melon. The soup had a mysterious taste that was both like dashi and like a soup. The red wine sauce and potato mousse went well together. The pumpkin soup was rich but refreshing, comforting and delicious. This restaurant seems to be influenced by Japanese cuisine even though it serves French cuisine. For dessert, there were two options - ice cream with Kyoho grape sherbet, and a macaron with chocolate cake. They were cute and delicious. The chocolate cake on a stick was a nice touch. The ice cream and sherbet were rich like soft serve. Ending with something rich is always a nice touch. Ah, I'm completely knocked out! Even though it was my first time here, I've become a fan of this restaurant.

"Completely Smoke-Free" - As a non-smoker with a strict no-smoking policy, I find it challenging to go to a smoking area just to dine at a smoke-free restaurant. I always make sure to emphasize when making a reservation that I must be seated separately from smokers. Bon Vivarage offers both open floor and private room seating, but when there are many reservations including smokers, it can be risky in the open floor area. The lunch menu offers good value, while the dinner menu may feature higher-quality ingredients. I find this restaurant more highly rated than their affiliated restaurant Bon Vivarage Oze, run by the chef's son. The brunch menu offers a choice between fish or meat for the main course, with an option to add foie gras for a more luxurious experience. The meal includes a variety of appetizers, soup, homemade bread, fish or meat dish, dessert, and drinks. The food is delicate and well-balanced, with standout dishes like the seafood appetizers, lemon sauce on the bonito, and the lamb roast. The dessert of yogurt ice cream with apple compote is refreshing, and the meal is completed with a selection of small sweets.

I visited my favorite French restaurant after a long time. It was my daughter's birthday, so I had made a reservation for the end of the year, but unfortunately she got sick the day before, so we had to cancel. I had also requested a birthday cake, so I felt really bad for inconveniencing the restaurant. We made a new reservation for the beginning of the year and went with my wife and daughter. My daughter and I had the C course, while my wife had the A course with an upgrade to lamb. We had a delicious meal and had a happy birthday celebration. The innovative French cuisine from before was nostalgic, but the current traditional French cuisine is also very delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visit this place for lunch several times, and every time I am impressed by the vegetable appetizer that uses 20 different kinds of vegetables (*´艸`*) The colors and presentation are so beautiful that it almost feels like a waste to eat it. I always find myself admiring it (*^^*) The bread, soup, and main dishes are also carefully prepared, and you can really feel the attention to detail. In the past, there were some issues with the service that made me hesitate to come back, but recently it seems to have improved (^_^;) I highly recommend the B course where you can enjoy both fish and meat dishes (*^^*) I would like to visit at night sometime.

I have been coming to this restaurant for lunch for a while. It's the best French restaurant in the area, and everyone around me agrees. This time, we were celebrating a little, so we went with the 3990 yen course. From the first bite of the appetizer, my friend and I were like, "This is it, right?" as we enjoyed our meal. We usually have the Chami pork, but this time we tried the duck. Even while eating, we kept saying, "It's definitely the right choice." I would like to try dining alone at night, but I still don't have the courage (laughs). I'll look forward to it when the time comes.

I saw this restaurant on Tabelog and had been wanting to try it. I made a reservation through their website and went to enjoy their "special course." The restaurant was easy to find with parking spaces available in front. We were seated in a private room and each dish was as delicious and beautifully presented as mentioned in other reviews. While I am not very familiar with French cuisine, the staff kindly explained the ingredients to us, which was both interesting and educational. Considering the quality, the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy wine that evening as I was not able to drink, but the staff prepared a cake for my husband's birthday. It was a perfect size tart that we couldn't finish, but they kindly packed it for us to take home. It was our first birthday celebration since getting married, and we had a wonderful time enjoying delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. We definitely want to visit again in the future.

I received a postcard invitation the other day, so I went to the restaurant right away. Once again, it was amazing. Chef Komatsu has truly outdone himself. The uni pudding was especially delicious, with a rich and creamy uni flavor. The seasonal conger eel was either seared or deep-fried, and it was very tasty. I'm not a fan of conger eel, but this dish was excellent. The sommelier owner recommended a "Coulée de Serrant" white wine from the Loire region of France, which paired perfectly with the seafood dishes. For meat, I had caramelized Iberico pork, while my partner had grilled Japanese beef loin. The quality of the beef was exceptional, and my meat-loving partner was very pleased. Bon Vivarage sends out seasonal invitations like this every month, and although I can't go every month, I always look forward to them.

I had the opportunity to drive to Izumisano, so I decided to visit the French restaurant "Bon Village" which had good reviews on Tabelog. I didn't make a reservation at first, so the restaurant was already full. However, since I came all the way from Osaka, I decided to wait for an hour. The interior of the restaurant had a casual atmosphere rather than a fancy French restaurant in the city. It didn't seem very spacious at first glance, but there were quite a few seating areas hidden behind a secret door. The lunch course started from 2,500 yen. The dishes were served at a leisurely pace, perhaps because it was crowded on a Sunday. The first dish was a beautifully arranged appetizer on a glass plate, with various types that I forgot the names of. It was elegant and just the right amount. Next, I had spaghetti as part of the lunch set, and it was delicious with a not too strong tomato flavor and served piping hot. The homemade bread was also served, and I couldn't resist having three pieces due to its perfect saltiness. For the main course, I chose the pork, which was juicy and flavorful, with a slightly sweet sauce that was surprisingly light. The dessert was highly recommended, with a rich cream and a creamy pudding that tasted like it was made from fresh cream from a farm. I also enjoyed the chestnut sweets. Although I couldn't drink wine because it was lunch and I was driving, the meticulously prepared dishes and generous portions make this restaurant a great choice for a slightly fancy lunch.

This is a delicious French restaurant located in Sennan. I went for lunch and the dishes were well-prepared and high quality. I ordered the shrimp course this time. It's a bit challenging to access from Osaka, but it's definitely a restaurant worth visiting.
- Good points: The appetizer was average, but the soup was amazing. The soup had daikon mochi in it, which I wasn't sure about at first, but it turned out to be moist with a strong flavor. The daikon mochi surprisingly paired well with it and was delicious. The shrimp in the main course was cooked perfectly, with a sauce that matched well. The orange sherbet dessert was excellent, and the handmade chocolate for tea was tasty. The atmosphere was also quite nice.
- Not so good points: The appetizer overall was average. I only had a bite of the meat dish, which was also average. Not everything was delicious, so I hesitated a bit between giving a 4 or 4.5 stars, but at least the shrimp course was perfect except for the appetizer! I would rate it 4.5 stars.

I can't believe there is a restaurant like this in Izumi! I've been living in this area for almost a year, and I vaguely noticed that there was a French restaurant here. I decided to visit it after searching on the internet and hearing that it was delicious. After having lunch, I couldn't help but think, "What have I been doing for the past year? Why didn't I visit this place sooner?" The flow of time made me regret not coming earlier to this amazing restaurant. The lunch set starts from 2500 yen (it used to be 2000 yen, but the price has increased), and you will be impressed by the delicious food you get for this price. You will be fully satisfied. Of course, there are also higher-level lunch courses! (If we were to go for the 5300 yen course, we would go for dinner instead♪) The dinner course includes refreshing appetizers, melt-in-your-mouth foie gras dishes, locally sourced vegetables that enhance the natural flavors, and the recommended Cha Mi pork... you can truly enjoy gourmet dining. From appetizers to desserts, Bon Vivant leaves nothing to be desired. (Seasonal courses are occasionally offered, and you can enjoy them. If you register at the restaurant, you will receive regular postcard notifications.) We usually go for the cost-effective lunchtime option, and visit for dinner about once every two months when we can't resist. Since making reservations, we have been in a constant state of excitement. (The disappointment when told it's fully booked is real...) I hope everyone has the opportunity to be impressed by the dishes at Bon Vivant that delight the taste buds, eyes, and hearts with each plate. Even if I move away someday, I believe this is a restaurant worth traveling for and continuing to visit.
