In Kyushu's Hisayama, at the main store of Kyuhara Honke, you can enjoy "Dashi Tamagoyaki" for 1 skewer for 200 yen (tax included) and "Soy Sauce Soft Serve" for 350 yen (tax included). I went there because I heard that you can eat "Dashi Tamagoyaki" and "Soft Serve" at the main store of Kyuhara Honke, famous for soy sauce and Chionosha. 1. Tamagoyaki using carefully selected dashi The Tamagoyaki made using the signature "Chionosha dashi" of Kyuhara Honke is fluffy and full of the umami of dashi. They are so particular that they write that you should eat it within 4 hours of making it. 2. Soft serve using soy sauce I had never tried soy sauce soft serve before, but it was incredibly delicious. It has a taste similar to caramel, and when you dip it in the Tamagoyaki skewer, it becomes exquisite. 3. Perfect for families and drives I stopped by on the way to Costco this time, and there is a space outside where you can relax and enjoy. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner at the directly managed store. Let's enjoy the hot summer by eating Tamagoyaki skewers and soft serve. I will definitely go again. Thank you for the meal. I used it while buying a gift. On that day, there was a lot of dust from the demolition work of a nearby house, so I ate in a hurry haha. Last time I had egg roll, so this time I had soy sauce soft serve ice cream. It melted quickly so I ate it quickly, but it was delicious. Next time I will try the mixed flavor. Payment is cash only at the ticket machine.

After a long time, I went to Kyushu and stocked up on dashi products (sweating). They were offering tastings and samples of dashi, so I could purchase with confidence. I also bought some tamagoyaki and nikuman from the stall outside, and they were delicious. When leaving, the staff bowed until my car was out of sight, which was very impressive and courteous.

Chayoshoya, which is now very famous. This time, I visited the main store. It is a soy sauce shop in Hisayama. In this store, you can find familiar items such as dashi and mentaiko, but right next to the store, they also sell soy sauce soft serve ice cream. The soy sauce soft serve ice cream is delicious, but I personally love the dashi tamagoyaki. The tamagoyaki, with its rich dashi flavor and fluffy texture, is really delicious. I will definitely visit again to eat it!

Stopped by Chino-ya on the way home. I didn't have enough money for a White Day gift, so I told my wife she could buy whatever she wanted. She happily went shopping, picking up some dashi that she always uses at Chino-ya. She also bought an egg roll for 200 yen, a motsu bun for 650 yen, and a soy sauce soft serve (with Baumkuchen) for 450 yen. The egg roll was delicious with a nice dashi flavor, but I wish it was a bit sweeter. The motsu bun was surprisingly tasty. The soy sauce soft serve was a huge portion and I couldn't finish it on my own. It was a pleasant shopping experience as it wasn't too crowded on a weekday, but it might be busier on weekends.

I stopped by the main store of popular Kyuhara Soy Sauce, which uses Maenoshou's dashi. I originally came for ice cream, but ended up trying their rolled omelette. The skewers, priced at 200 yen each, were slightly sweet and thick. It's a nice option for a quick snack. The shop operates on a ticket system and accepts cash only. The parking lot is spacious, and I believe there were two or three tables in front of the shop. I'm curious about their soy sauce soft serve ice cream!笑.

This is a soy sauce shop located in Kuhara, Kuyama. I visited nearby and bought some soy sauce. Inside the store, they also sell Chino-ya's dashi and Shofuan's mentaiko, which are always popular. Soft serve ice cream was also being sold at the storefront, so my friends and I tried it. My two friends had soy sauce soft serve for 350 yen each, and I had a mix for 350 yen. I asked for a mix of vanilla and soy sauce, but maybe just the soy sauce would have made the soy sauce flavor more noticeable? We also bought dashimaki tamago for 900 yen to take home. It's a Kyushu specialty with a sweet dashi flavor that fills your mouth. The store is located in Kuhara, Kuyama Town. My home ran out of soy sauce, so my partner and I took a drive to Kyuyama. Our family has always used Kyuhara Soy Sauce. We visited "Shoubouan" in Kyuyama and bought soy sauce along with some new products. Afterwards, we stopped by the take-out shop outside which sells items like dashi tamagoyaki, soft serve ice cream, and amakoji drinks. We bought one skewer of dashi tamagoyaki and a soy sauce soft serve ice cream with a baumkuchen topping. We enjoyed them on a bench outside. The dashi tamagoyaki was delicious and sweet, perfect for a home snack. The soy sauce soft serve ice cream had a milky taste at first, followed by a hint of soy sauce. It was quite rich, and I probably should have chosen the mixed flavor. Overall, it was a relaxing trip back home. Thank you for the meal!

Here, you can try various types of dashi (^-^) The mentaiko (spicy cod roe) is delicious too. I especially like the rich sweetness of the vegetable dashi! Sometimes they offer dashi tasting samples outside the entrance, like shira dashi. On weekends, the parking lot gets really crowded! Hakata limited edition Chionosha agodashi. Made with grilled jaw, dried jaw, small dried sardines, bonito flakes, kombu seaweed, dried round herring, and dried shiitake mushrooms. All made in Japan! It's a reliable product (*゚▽゚*) I used it for a hot pot and enjoyed the refined umami flavor without relying on salt. Next, I want to use it for dishes like simmered dishes!

Ordered soy sauce soft serve ice cream mix and a skewer of Chitoseya dashi tamagoyaki. Ate inside a tent on the premises. The savory tamagoyaki paired well with the not-too-sweet soft serve ice cream, and it was very delicious. The natural breeze was cool, making it a wonderful dining experience.

The mentaiko (spicy cod roe) priced at 1080 yen for 80g was quite expensive. The taste was not satisfying, possibly because I am used to the regular spicy mentaiko.

You may have heard of "Chinoshio" before. They are famous for their dashi, but their restaurant is also well-known. The restaurant does not seem to be reservation-only, but it is recommended to make a reservation. You can enjoy dishes that bring out the best of seasonal ingredients and high-quality ingredients. You can check the reservation status on their website, but they seem to accept reservations starting from the 1st of two months prior, so it may be difficult to visit on a whim like our family did. We decided to at least buy some souvenirs at a different location from the restaurant, so we visited the Kyuhara Main Store. It originated from a soy sauce brewery founded in 1893. The parking lot is spacious and there are staff members to assist, so you can feel at ease. Right as you enter, there is a tasting corner for recommended products at this time of year. The staff will explain the products to you. On the day we visited, there were bottled chicken ginger miso and pork miso displayed for tasting with somen and noodle soup, and we purchased the chicken ginger miso for 918 yen. It felt a bit expensive because it was in a small bottle, but it was a great companion for rice! Next to it, there is a corner where you can taste all of Chinoshio's dashi in a pot, and we tried the samples in small paper cups. When you compare the tastes, you can clearly understand your preference. We bought a pack of dashi bags for souvenirs, and also purchased a bottle of Japanese-style dashi salt for home use and as a souvenir. My husband bought sashimi soy sauce, black pepper, and other items. The store is filled with mentaiko, soy sauce, seasonings, and there is also a section for gift items at the back, which was bustling with customers. It's reassuring that their seasonings are free of chemical seasonings and preservatives! I have bought Chinoshio's dashi packs online before and I like them because they are easy to use and have a gentle flavor. It's also nice that you can use the packs as seasonings by tearing them open. When we paid at the register, we were the last in line as a family, so we couldn't enjoy tea in the rest area near the entrance, but it was a pleasant shopping experience.

I knew there was a popular ice cream shop but it was always crowded so I gave up. However, on New Year's Eve, I went there and it was empty. I finally got to try it! They had waffle cones and the vanilla ice cream was very rich, with a hint of salty soy sauce. It was perfect! I also got a free coffee because I did some shopping. Thank you for the delicious treat!

After having lunch at Cocochina, I went to Shobouan at Chino-ya for some dashi. Even though I prefer the dashi from another place, I had to come all the way here because I wanted something specific. The restaurant has a spacious parking lot, which was convenient. The exterior of the building has a traditional Japanese atmosphere. There is a vegetable and fruit shop called Yasaiya Mitabi right next to Shobouan. They have a selection of high-quality products, but the prices are quite high. I didn't purchase anything from the vegetable shop as there were no samples available. Inside Shobouan, there is a tasting counter where I tried some samples. Today, I came specifically for the roasted sake tasting. The store has a great variety of products, and there are many pots filled with different types of dashi for tasting. They also offer samples of mentaiko and other items. I was recommended to try the cooked rice with various ingredients, which was a highlight of the day. Despite the quiet surroundings outside, the store was bustling with customers inside. I was a bit surprised by the crowd. Everyone seemed to be making purchases. I also bought some souvenirs. Customers who make purchases are offered complimentary coffee at the cafe corner. The traditional Japanese house creates a nice ambiance. They also have mentaiko available. There is a room at the back for limited edition items and regional deliveries. The branding by a small soy sauce shop in a small town is impressive. Although the prices are a bit high, the quality justifies the cost, which is why the store is popular. I purchased the roasted sake, soba dipping sauce, Chino-ya dashi, tomato sauce, and a mixed grain dashi for porridge. The roasted sake is simple and versatile, bringing out the umami of the ingredients while adding a soft richness from the dashi. The tomato sauce can be used as a dressing and easily blends with other seasonings to enhance flavors. I haven't used the other dashi yet, so I will update once I try them. U。-ェ-。U is a quiet dog that doesn't bark, but...U^皿^U ウシャシャシャ Heading towards the famous "Inunaki Tunnel" from Fukuoka, there is a well-known soy sauce shop in Kuyama Town called "Shoubouan." You can read about the legend of the "Inunaki Tunnel" here. The tunnel and pass are completely safe to go through now, with no eerie feeling at all.ヘU^ェ^U オテ! http://matome.naver.jp/odai/2137766741207398101
The review song for this time is chosen based on the luxurious feeling of the shop. It has no relation to the Kanai sisters... The vocalist of this song gives off a luxurious vibe, which is why it was chosen. It's a nod to the opening of the "Chinoya Tokyo Midtown Store." Oo。. Speaking of Fukuoka and Kurume's specialties, yakitori... The local yakitori here is a bit different from others, as it is served on a plate with shredded cabbage. The yakitori is placed on the cabbage, which is topped with a sauce similar to sanbai vinegar. It's delicious.▼(~▽~@)▼♪♪♪ The yakitori here is mainly salt-grilled, so the cabbage doesn't become sweet, making it a fantastic dish. The sauce for the shredded cabbage is sold by "Kyuhara Shoyu," the same shop where you can find the "Umatare" sauce. The shop also offers tastings of dashi, mentaiko, and various processed products. The main products like soy sauce, miso, and dressings are also available for purchase. The "Umatare" sauce for cabbage is a must-buy, and the shop provides a relaxing seating area with complimentary coffee for shoppers. The coffee could be better, but it's a nice touch.U・ェ-U⌒☆Wink!
After filling out a survey, I received a handwritten thank you note from the shop. They are well-known in Tokyo and Osaka for a reason. However, as a stray dog, I am satisfied with the shredded cabbage sauce for yakitori, a gourmet friend of the common people. The "Umatare" sauce can also be used as a base for homemade dressings or mixed with somen noodle sauce for a delicious summer treat. While the shop is quite far from Fukuoka city, it is definitely worth a visit. Just be careful not to overspend on their products. The mentaiko here is also delicious. Give it a try if you're tired of the mainstream mentaiko... I will definitely visit again soon.U・ェ-U⌒☆Wink!
