Yaezuka-cho, Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu City. A cafe specializing in takeout. It's quite rare to find a cafe that specializes in takeout. They offer Wiener coffee, cafe latte, cafe mocha, iced tea, royal milk tea, cola, lemon squash, Bavarois, soft serve ice cream, chocolate rusk, white chocolate rusk, croissant rusk, shakes (vanilla, chocolate, milk tea, matcha, caramel, espresso, etc.), and hot dogs (cheese sauce, teriyaki mayonnaise, mentaiko mayo sauce, salsa sauce, special tomato ketchup, demiglace sauce, etc.). This time, I ordered a hot dog (380 yen) and a drink (additional 100 yen) for takeout. The hot dog had special tomato ketchup, lettuce, cucumber, onions, and a juicy American-sized sausage. The acidity and sweetness of the special tomato ketchup and mustard were well balanced. The buns were crispy. Delicious. For the drink, I chose iced coffee. It was not bad, but nothing special. The parking lot at the trial used to be free in the past, but now it's paid. Times change. Thanks for the meal.

Next to Udon Takeya before the trial, there is a cafe. The nostalgic Bavarian cream lined up in front of the store looks enticing. They also have croffles, rusk, soft serve ice cream, shakes, hot dogs, cream soda-like drinks, and more. The prices are reasonable. The soft serve ice cream on top of the cream soda has a strong milk flavor, which is delicious on its own, but might not mix well with the melon soda. The staff, especially the older gentleman, was very kind.

A cafe inside the trial parking lot. I often stop by on my way back from my friend's nearby shop after shopping at the trial, but today I found something new... old-fashioned Bavarois and a sandwich. I also bought two rusks, I love rusks because they are delicious!! And the staff at the store is very kind ^_^

- Genre: Coffee, baked goods, soft serve ice cream - Area: Yaesu area, Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu City - Access: About 5 minutes by car from JR Ishida Station - Parking: None (Paid coin parking available on site) - Credit card payment: Not available (PayPay accepted) - Number of visits: First visit - Number of reviews: 1st review On this day, I casually stopped by "Maou Cafe". - Exterior and Interior: This cafe is located in the Yaesu area of Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu City. It seems to be a takeout-only establishment, and it is quite new and clean in this neighborhood. - Seating: Takeout only. - Menu: Apart from coffee and soft serve ice cream, the main focus of the store seems to be on rusk. The items I ordered are as follows: - Fresh Milk Soft Serve Ice Cream (300 yen) - tax included. Available in three sizes: regular, big, mega. However, cones are only available in regular size, and cup sizes can be changed. Toppings such as chocolate, matcha, melon, caramel, strawberry, mango are free. It was a hot day today... my junior colleague bought an iced coffee, so I was tempted to get the soft serve ice cream. It lives up to its name with a fresh and rich taste... well, more like a rich taste. The chocolate topping was the typical kind, and the ice cream might actually taste better without any toppings. That's the soft serve ice cream for you. - Strong Points: A nice break time treat. - Service: Average. - Overall: The must-try item at this store might be the rusk, but the only drawback is that using the store requires paying 110 yen for parking. It used to be free before, but now it's paid, and the discount is only for a trial... Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Maoca Cafe" located in Ishida's Trial parking lot. This cafe specializes in take-out items and offers a unique menu. I bought the Smooth Pudding Parfait for ¥580. Despite being a take-out item, the parfait was not covered with a dome lid, which made me worry about spilling it. I hurriedly got into my car to enjoy it. The parfait included pudding, soft serve ice cream, nata de coco, and corn flakes. It was delicious and refreshing, especially the cold soft serve ice cream. I regret not trying the parfait at the cafe and instead wish I had bought Tochigi's Soul Drink Lemon Milk, which I plan to try soon as it is only 200ml.

Soft serve ice cream with strawberry topping in a cup for 300 yen. I found out that our shop was featured on a certain website in Kitakyushu (KKQ) and saw the photo of the soft serve ice cream in a cup. It looked cute and delicious, so I hurried over to the shop to order it. However, the actual appearance of the ice cream in the cup was quite different from the photo. I couldn't confront the kind staff about it, so I just went home. When I opened the website in HTML format, I found out that the photo was linked to Amazon. So, it was just an image photo after all. The soft serve ice cream with strawberry topping was tasty, with cornflakes at the bottom giving it a milky taste.

Strawberry shake for 380 yen, garlic toast rusk for 130 yen. A takeout-only café that opened on June 1, 2021. Located next to the meat udon restaurant "Takeya". I ordered the strawberry shake. While waiting for it, I sensed a rusk-focused atmosphere and decided to add the garlic rusk. The strawberry shake was completely normal, nothing special. It was like the extreme of the standard. McDonald's shakes are better... but that's not saying much. On the other hand, the garlic rusk was extraordinary. As soon as I opened the package, a strong garlic scent hit me. When I tasted it, the garlic flavor was intense! I've never had a rusk like this before. It's not really a sweet treat. But it has a unique addictive quality. After eating it, I found myself wanting more. They also have various other types of rusk if you prefer. There is plenty of parking available (the store is located within a coin parking area), but you need to make a trial purchase to get free parking, otherwise you will be charged. Suica is accepted for payment. The store also accepts PayPay.
