At the command of my senior colleague, we went to drink at a place near Hakata Station. The restaurant is located in a building basement on a street a little away from Hakata Station. The staff welcomed us warmly from the moment we entered. The restaurant mainly has private table seats, with many available. It was full on the weekend. We started with beer and some appetizers. The sesame mackerel was consistently delicious. The grilled leeks with miso were sweet and made for a great snack. The straw-grilled mackerel had a lot of fat, giving it a delicious flavor when combined with the straw aroma. We also tried the lemon sour, which was served with frozen lemon instead of ice. It melted quite quickly, but was refreshing. The recommended dish that day was the filefish, which had a lot of liver. It was delicious, especially when eaten with liver ponzu. This place is great for company parties. The long table can seat about 16 people, which is convenient. The atmosphere is always lively as we often drink in large groups. The main dishes are fresh sashimi and motsunabe (tripe hot pot). Although the menu is limited, it offers a taste of Hakata. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The group was large so we opted for the 6,500➡︎5,000 yen set which was a good deal. It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't choose our favorite items since it was a set, but it turned out to be unnecessary to worry. Everything was delicious and even included fresh squid, which was a nice surprise. The fact that they even provided Shirataki noodles was great. The restaurant was quite busy and the staff seemed to be working hard. Thank you for the service.

I used the course without a pot. The squid from Yobuko was also in stock. Overall, the taste of the dishes is good. The cost performance is also high. I came here because I wanted to eat fresh squid sashimi! They served a clam hot pot as a starter, which had a gentle flavor with a rich broth. I was worried that the squid might be sold out, as it has happened before, but luckily they still had some today. The texture of the live squid sashimi was definitely different and delicious! The grilled beef tripe in the motsunabe was also very tasty and chewy. The staff provided great service, so I will definitely come back again!

I don't usually eat cod roe at home, but I enjoy it occasionally outside or on bread. Also, I wonder why it's served with mustard (I prefer the regular version). ■ Assorted Grilled Chicken Skewers These are large-sized grilled chicken skewers, so you have to take them off the skewers to share. This time I was on a business trip to Fukuoka. I searched for squid and found this place called Aburi Robata Yamao Hakata Ekimae near the station. It's about a 5-minute walk from Hakata exit. Close to Hakata Station, we visited this restaurant. Despite it being early in the week, the place was packed with parties by 6 pm. Hakata is bustling, impressive. We chose to sit at the counter and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were all energetic and friendly. It was mentioned on the menu that the person in charge of grilling at the counter was from Nepal, adding to the international charm of Hakata. We were served clams in a flavorful broth as a starter, with the option to order a shabu-shabu dish using the same pot. The live turban shell was a highlight, served with liver soy sauce. It was amazing and went well with drinks. The grilled salmon with salmon roe was generously portioned and delicious. The garlic butter grilled turban shell was another standout, especially paired with baguette. Every dish we tried was a hit. A great dining experience overall!

First, when I sat down and ordered a beer, a tabletop stove and a large pot of clams were set in front of me with the announcement, "Here is your appetizer, clams!" What a luxurious appetizer. Eating delicious food while staring at the live fish in the tank was the best. I had shochu to drink, as expected. For the finale, I had charcoal ramen, which was a lot but delicious, so I finished it all! It was so tasty! It was a lively restaurant with good cost performance and delicious food.
