I would like a course in a private room. Starting with salad and an aperitif, it continued to the main course, which was delicious. The meat miso that came with the salad was so tasty that I even asked for extra to enjoy with the meat. The meat miso was a perfect accompaniment to the alcohol. The meat had just the right amount of marbling and was delicious, but age catches up with us. Next time, I will order a la carte instead of a course.

I ordered a course for 5950 yen. I was satisfied to the point of feeling full after about half of it, and the meat was also very delicious. I could choose between rice porridge and brown rice for rice. The salad for the appetizer was very stylish and perfect for Instagram.

I visited Matsuya at Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store in Osaka. It was Saturday lunchtime and there were 5 groups waiting, but I waited for about 20 minutes before my turn came. I had the fluffy zaki hamburger set meal. It came with fluffy hamburger, potato salad, seasonal salad, oboro tofu chige soup, and multi-grain rice. The hamburger was really fluffy and the shape of the hot plate was interesting. It was very hot until the end. If they could wait a little longer before clearing the plate when it's empty, that would be great. Next time, I want to try the meat dishes.

I ordered a salad rice bowl with lots of vegetables and it came with spicy soup. I usually order the hamburger, but today I chose this menu because the hot stone plate always burns the hamburger. I wish I could have had more barbecue. The spicy soup is too salty. Maybe I should have stuck with the hamburger after all?

I went for lunch. I arrived a little after 11 o'clock and was able to get a seat right away as the first customer in line. The restaurant soon became almost full. I ordered the meat lunch set, which included harami and lean meat that were very sweet and delicious. The set also came with rice, salad, and kimchi soup, all of which were tasty as well.

Every year, we have a New Year's meal with my family at this restaurant, but due to COVID, we couldn't do it this year. It was our first time dining in for a while. I love this restaurant because the quality of the meat is good, the side dishes and rice are delicious, and it's easy to find as it's located in a department store. I had the Premium Matsuya set meal. The grilled meat was served already cooked. It included: - Nozaki beef cut-off grilled - 4 seasonal side dishes - Oboro tofu chige soup - 18-grain rice The chige soup was really delicious. When the set meals were stacked, it created an interesting shape. Although it was just Nozaki beef cut-off, it was very juicy. I enjoyed a leisurely lunch in a semi-private booth. There were few customers, so it was quiet and nice. Thank you for the meal.

While shopping, I passed by a sushi restaurant on the 13th floor that was closed, so I went to a yakiniku restaurant instead. I ordered a smaller portion and the tuna and yam dish was delicious. The restaurant has a clean and beautiful interior, and you can enjoy yakiniku even if you're dining alone. It's a casual and welcoming place.

I felt like eating meat, but since Umeda was crowded on a holiday, I sought refuge on the 13th floor of Hankyu Umeda. The lineup on the 13th floor consists of higher-end restaurants compared to the 12th floor, so I had high expectations. However, I was disappointed. I ordered the recommended lunch for 2,780 yen, which consisted of small dishes, kimchi, tofu stew, salad, meat, and rice. Despite being advertised as "Japanese-style meat dishes," it leaned more towards Korean cuisine. The restaurant had a flashy, eclectic atmosphere, with no consistency between the food and the establishment. It was a letdown. The rice was sixteen-grain rice, aiming for a healthy touch, but lacked a sense of indulgence. I didn't come here for Korean food, so I wasn't thrilled about the tofu stew. When I consulted the staff, they mentioned that I could also choose white rice and seaweed soup. They should have indicated this on the menu, considering the lunch cost nearly 3,000 yen. The small dishes served as an appetizer were soft tofu. It would be better to offer something that doesn't overlap with the tofu stew. The seaweed soup was average. Another thing that bothered me was the salad served in a wine glass. It may look stylish at first, but eating it with chopsticks from a glass is not very elegant. Soon after, the meat arrived. They used decent meat with a moderate amount of marbling, which was delicious. However, honestly, the portion was small. There were a total of six pieces, two of each cut, but I doubt it added up to 100 grams. Even for a woman, this may not be satisfying. All this for 2,780 yen. Considering the location and ambiance, the main dish falls short. Hankyu Department Store Umeda is considered a top spot in Kansai's popular culture, and people visit with that expectation. However, I felt somewhat betrayed as if the experience didn't live up to expectations. H2O, is this acceptable for the 13th-floor restaurants in Hankyu Umeda? It should be a step up from the 12th floor. Compared to the relatively well-managed price range and restaurant lineup at Daimaru next door, Hankyu seemed more challenging in a negative way.

Today, I had a girls' night out with my favorite friends! The organizer made a reservation for a course meal with all-you-can-drink at Matsuya, featuring "Nozaki beef" from Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture. The beef is raised in a ranch where the cows listen to Mozart's melodies and are known for their gentle nature. Every cut of meat was incredibly tender, allowing us to savor the luxurious taste of Japanese beef. The course meal included a variety of cuts, providing a satisfying dining experience. Although the all-you-can-drink option at 2200 yen was a bit pricey, the selection of drinks, including fresh Makgeolli, was so extensive that it was worth it! Thank you for the wonderful meal! Lunchtime visit. I was craving a hamburger and this place had an open seat so I decided to come in. They brought out a cold seaweed soup first, and I thought I made a mistake coming here. I wasn't expecting much from the hamburger, as it didn't look very appetizing, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The flavor was amazing! The sauce had a unique sweetness that I had never tasted before, and it was really delicious. Although the hamburger was on the smaller side, it had a rich and savory taste. The hot plate was so hot that the hamburger burned my mouth, but it was sizzling until the end, and the hamburger ended up slightly burnt... maybe it was a bit too hot. When the hamburger gets burnt, it becomes tough. The multigrain rice was also delicious! Surprisingly, it was the best multigrain rice I have ever had. The salad had a dressing made with honey, which was also tasty. This place might be a hidden gem for lunch at Hankyu. I might come back to eat here again. Please make the hamburger bigger next time.

I felt like eating meat, so I went to Matsuya, a meat restaurant on the 13th floor of Hankyu in Umeda, Osaka! I added kalbi and harami and was very satisfied. Umehan 13th floor WASHO Meat Cuisine Matsuya visited on Sunday around 12:30 pm. "There's a delicious meat restaurant here, isn't there?" I came with my friend and child. There was no wait, but we had to write our name and wait. After about 30 minutes of waiting, we were seated at a table. When you come here, you must try the "exquisite fluffy Zaki hamburger." It's really delicious!! The fluffy texture as the name suggests, the fragrant burn, the richness of the meat... My friend was also very satisfied (^-^) You can choose from 2 types of soup for the set, and I chose the Chige. It was also exquisite. It's a blissful moment to enjoy it with my favorite 18-grain rice. I always wonder why the rice here is so delicious. The Korean seaweed on top adds an accent, and I feel like I could have as many bowls as I want (￣▽￣) The only disappointing thing was that someone who came after us had their name called first while we were waiting, but I had brought my friend along so I felt bad. I said, "We wrote our name first." The staff said, "The tables were full, so we seated a party of 2 at the counter. Even though you were carrying a baby, is the counter okay?" I asked, "Were we not supposed to be seated at a table?" The staff said, "No, it's at the counter. The table should be available in about 10-15 minutes." We thought about waiting a little longer, but my friend also felt uneasy, thinking, "We got skipped, right?" It would have been better if they had said, "We will seat a party of 2 ahead of you, even though it's out of order." Maybe we missed hearing it, but that part was a bit disappointing. Yakiniku lunch in Meisaka. You can eat delicious meat at a reasonable price. It was also nice that the smell didn't stick to my clothes. It was crowded at lunchtime, but the turnover was relatively fast.
