During a business trip, we went with 8 people. We split into 2 tables of 4 and had a great time. We didn't go for okonomiyaki much, but it was delicious. Negiyaki was the perfect accompaniment to our drinks. The portion was huge and we were all full. Thank you for the meal.

I went in the evening and had to wait in line for a bit. The shop had a new feel to it and was clean, which was nice. I ordered a beer and waited for the okonomiyaki while eating doteyaki. I ordered the popular special mixed okonomiyaki and the classic domestic pork okonomiyaki. Both were delicious.

I visited for the first time after 6:30 PM, and there was already a line of about 15 people. I waited in line for about 40 minutes and ordered the mixed okonomiyaki. It was one of the most delicious okonomiyaki I've ever had! The homemade mayonnaise, in particular, was amazing.

I visited the restaurant after work. Other famous restaurants had a wait of 30-40 minutes, but I barely made it into this one and ordered the lunch set. I chose the lunch set with a spicy sauce that was delicious and went well with the rice. I had planned to eat a lot in Osaka, but just this meal already filled me up. Truly a great restaurant in Osaka!

I ordered the baked cheese cake and the special mixed baked cheese cake. It was Golden Week, so I had to wait in line for about 30-40 minutes before finally entering the shop. I had been wanting to try the baked cheese cake after reading reviews on Tabelog, and it did not disappoint. The cheese was so creamy and satisfying. I left feeling very full.

When you come to Osaka, one of the dishes you definitely want to try is okonomiyaki. This day, it got late and I had a bit of trouble finding a restaurant. I enjoy trying out local chains when I'm lost because if a place is not popular, they can't expand, right? So, I was drawn to this place called Osaka Castle Yaki. Looking at the menu, the portions were in kilos, so I settled for the special mix with modern style. It was so delicious! I'm glad I came in! Thank you for the meal!

There are many delicious okonomiyaki restaurants in Umeda, but one of the most popular ones is Yukari. It gets crowded during weekends at lunchtime in the Tomi Life Building. They bring the freshly cooked okonomiyaki to your table, and you can watch as it gets finished right in front of you. The aroma of the sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and seaweed is enticing. It really whets your appetite. You can add shichimi spice for an extra kick! It's also fun to customize your okonomiyaki to your liking. I will definitely go back again.

After finishing work and wandering around Umeda, I suddenly felt like eating "konomono" (flour-based snacks). I was looking around for a good nearby restaurant when I spotted "Yukari". I decided to eat here, but it's Friday night so... I thought it might be crowded, but there was only one group waiting. Lucky! After a 10-minute wait, we were seated at a table. I ordered the "butatama" (pork balls). They brought it out already cooked and then poured sauce on it right in front of me. Mmm, it's the taste of Osaka. Delicious!!

I had a craving for okonomiyaki, so I found a place called "Okonomiyaki Yukari" in the Tokoku Life Building nearby. It was almost full around 12 o'clock, but I was seated promptly. During lunchtime, they offer okonomiyaki with salad and a drink set. I ordered pork belly okonomiyaki, negiyaki, and yakisoba. Of course, I had it with a draft beer. The freshly made yakisoba was brought to the table right in front of me. It was well seasoned and went perfectly with the beer. Then the okonomiyaki and negiyaki arrived. The okonomiyaki was a bit thick and had a slight wheat flour taste. The yakisoba was delicious though. The restroom is outside the restaurant, and you have to go to the restroom in the neighboring building. It was a hassle, especially on a hot day like today. I probably won't come back again. It's been a while since I visited Osaka on business. I insisted to my boss that I wanted to eat okonomiyaki, and he approved. We couldn't get into the popular shop at Whity Umeda due to the long line, so we tried another place nearby. We were able to get in without waiting. I ordered the "okonomiyaki lunch" for lunch. It took about 25 minutes from ordering to serving, but it was worth the wait. It was so thick. It must take a long time to cook. It was also very filling, and I felt jealous of Osaka residents who can easily eat this level of okonomiyaki on a regular basis!

The other day, I visited a restaurant I saw on TV! I ordered the standard Butatama okonomiyaki. It was not fluffy, but rather a firm and traditional style. The sauce had a strong fruity taste, which was a bit surprising at first, but I got used to it and it was really delicious. The drinks were a bit pricey, but if I go occasionally, it's okay. It might have become my favorite restaurant in the Kansai area.

I walked along Higashi Street for the first time in a while and found the newly renovated Yukari-san. This time, I ordered the special mixed okonomiyaki, leek okonomiyaki, chicken harami with grated ponzu sauce, lime sour, draft beer, and a healthy body tea. It was my first time trying the healthy body tea, and I didn't really like it... (^_^;) The okonomiyaki sauce was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Stable deliciousness. For lunch, it feels like a great deal. You can choose two items from rice, drink, salad, or miso soup, and it's very satisfying! The okonomiyaki has a good weight to it, and the sauce and mayonnaise are delicious! This is my favorite okonomiyaki restaurant.

At "Yukari," they bring out the okonomiyaki after it's cooked. I remember at another place, they cooked it right in front of you. I always order tonpeiyaki, butatama modern, and mixed yakisoba to compare with other places. The taste is described as classic and homely. For example, the tonpeiyaki is a bit firmer compared to the fluffy omelette-style ones that are popular now. The okonomiyaki has a bit more flour, making it slightly sticky. It reminds me of the okonomiyaki I used to eat at a local place when I was a kid. Maybe that's why this place is so popular. There were also many young people, so I think the traditional taste must really capture the hearts of Osaka people♪

I decided to have a solo meal in Umeda and headed to the Yukari branch of Tokyu Life Building in Yokohama for okonomiyaki. I was seated at a table for four and ordered a draft beer, pork kimchi, and beef tendon negiyaki. The pork kimchi was delicious as always. The beef tendon negiyaki had a slightly lighter flavor, more like Kansai-style. I remembered the time I was taken to Yamamoto in Juso for negiyaki. Beer and negiyaki really go well together.

In Kyoto, I returned the car share just 1 minute before the deadline, barely making it in time! Then, in Osaka, I left my luggage and met up with my friend at Umeda. They took me to a place serving Osaka-style okonomiyaki. We ordered the special mixed okonomiyaki and black sesame yakisoba to go with our beers. It was Egg Day, so we got an extra egg on top, which was a lucky surprise. The okonomiyaki was fluffy and filled with plenty of pork, shrimp, squid, and other ingredients. I ended up eating too much!
