PINAKURU
I finally went to this restaurant with a friend after seeing it in free papers for a while. The food is exactly like the photos on their website, so please take a look there. For lunch, there is only one option for 2,100 yen. If you make a reservation, there is also a 3,150 yen lunch available, but since we didn't understand the system well, we were a bit confused. The menu and description were not clear to us, so we were a bit lost. The appetizer consisted of 6 different items on one plate, with warm dishes served warm and cold dishes served cold, all with a light and delicious taste. The soup was shrimp and vegetable cooked in broth with a thick texture, making it easy to eat. The fried dish included lotus root, green pepper, and shrimp seasoned with matcha salt, crispy and not greasy. The sashimi was salmon, sea bream, and amberjack, fresh and just the right amount. The tofu hot pot had tofu in soy milk, which was good but could have been a bit more special. The rice, miso soup, and pickles were just the right amount, and the pickles were delicious. For dessert, there was vanilla ice cream with raisins on top, which would have been even better with coffee. Overall, everything was delicious! Each dish was small in portion, but with a variety of flavors, making it easy to eat all 11 dishes without feeling too full or uncomfortable. It's probably just the right amount for good health. We arrived a little after 12 pm and were the only ones there at first, but older ladies started coming in and the tables were soon full. I would definitely like to try their kaiseki dinner as well. The only downside was that there was only one menu option and it would have been nice to have the menu clearly stated. Also, it would have been great if coffee after the meal was included in the price.
