I have visited this place several times, and the harami (skirt steak) is delicious. This restaurant is declared as the birthplace of harami, and they have a menu where harami is marinated in miso sauce. Even for lunch, they offer four different types of harami dishes, showing their dedication. This time, I tried the regular harami lunch with a large portion. I ordered through the pad, and the appetizer and beer came quickly, but the harami took a while to arrive. I wanted to enjoy the beer and meat together... Finally, it arrived! I grilled it sizzling hot, took a big bite, and the tender meat spread its original flavor in my mouth. Then, I took a sip of beer. This combination is irresistible. However, I forgot to take a picture. Sorry about that. It was reasonably priced at 1408 yen. Give it a try!

First visit! I didn't have high expectations, but the store looked nice and the tables were luxurious with sunken kotatsu style. I ordered the harami set meal, as this is the birthplace of harami. It was incredibly tender and juicy. I was impressed. Definitely need to bring my family here.

I went during lunchtime. The staff were kind and the atmosphere was calm. I felt comfortable sitting down without any hesitation. I chose a lunch set from the menu. Just looking at the photos made the dishes look delicious. The appetizer arrived and I couldn't wait to dig in before taking a picture... The aroma alone made the rice look amazing. The richness of the meat was delicious and the sauce was perfect. Not too garlicky, but enhancing the flavor of the meat. The quality for this price was exceptional, I was completely satisfied.

"San-kan yon-on. This phrase is often heard in the spring, and it perfectly describes the fluctuating temperatures. As a child, I didn't notice it as much, but now I am sensitive to the changing temperatures. This time, I visited 'Matsuya', a restaurant known for serving high-quality meat. The restaurant offers private rooms and table seating, and this time I chose a private room. First, I tried the thick-cut beef tongue. The photo doesn't lie - it really was thick-cut! It was incredibly delicious! The sirloin also melted in my mouth, and the kalbi and pork belly were all delicious and satisfying. Time to start my diet from scratch... Thank you for the wonderful meal."

I went there for the first time. It was Sunday lunchtime but I was able to be seated without waiting. They have a wide variety of lunch menu options at reasonable prices. I ordered the original harami, kalbi, and tetchan. The quality of the meat is good for the price. Plus, it comes with appetizers and soup. I would like to go again.

I visited the restaurant without a reservation on the first weekend after the implementation of the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I was the fourth in line to wait, so I thought I would be seated soon, but reservation customers kept coming in between, so I had to wait for about 30 minutes before being seated. I was nervous about whether I could order alcohol, but I managed to order a draft beer and a grapefruit shochu highball. My husband ordered a non-alcoholic beer. As for the main meat dishes, we ordered harami, diced harami, upper belly (misuji), tetchan, daikon kimchi, black wagyu yukhoe, and mini cold noodles. The meat was flavorful and tender, and we were very satisfied with the quality. The black wagyu yukhoe was especially delicious, but at 1280 yen, it was a bit pricey. Our total bill was 8756 yen, but it was a rare treat and definitely worth it at this restaurant. We spent a total of 60 minutes there. It was a great stress-relief to dine out after a long time.

Yesterday, I went to a yakiniku restaurant in Minoh City for a New Year's gathering. The place was called "Washo Niku Ryori Matsuya" and even though the name was fancy, the parking lot was filled with luxury cars making it difficult for regular cars to park. We had a variety of meat dishes and drinks, and for dessert, we ordered kuppap or bibimbap as well as some lunch menu items since the prices were the same. The selection of horumon was limited and the meat tended to shrink when cooked, but the loin and kalbi were delicious. I also tried the kimchi with eringi for the first time and it was tasty. After enjoying the affordable lunch menu, the total bill came out to be 35,000 yen for all the food and drinks.

I had the original harami (skirt steak) large lunch with extra rice. The sauce was relatively light and not as heavy on the garlic flavor as some meat restaurants. If you don't overcook it, the meat is very tender and has a solid meaty taste. It seems like they use very few spices and seasonings. The straightforward taste, combined with the affordability, left me very satisfied.

Minoh lunch series. This time it's yakiniku! This series seems to have a lot of meat and Chinese food... This time it's from "Matsuya" restaurant, a beef bowl restaurant. Not their yakiniku set meal! This place is a bit of a walk from Minoh Station, but they have a large parking lot so many people come by car. You can enjoy charcoal-grilled yakiniku from lunch, starting around 1200 yen. This time I ordered the Original Harami & Kalbi & Tetchan Lunch for 1480 yen! The appetizers were konjac, eggplant, and tofu. Salad with chicory. The meat was decent, with the lean cuts being quite good. It's tasty at a normal level. It falls short compared to top-notch lunch places... The hormone meat is pretty good though, with excellent fat content and flavor! Considering the price, the content is sufficient. It's around 1500 yen after all. The restaurant is spacious so the staff's attention is not always on point. They didn't refill water or notice when it ran out. It's a large store so it's understandable, but a little more attention to detail wouldn't hurt, right?

We happened to kill time around here and three of us decided to dine in. The lunch sets are priced around 1200 to 2000 yen. Until March, smoking was allowed throughout the restaurant which was convenient. Honestly, the taste was average but the presentation was quite luxurious. Thank you for the meal.

It was my first time at this yakiniku restaurant. The open space was divided by thresholds. It was crowded, probably due to the year-end (year-end party season). Luckily, we were able to get in without a reservation as we arrived right when they opened. I kept my alcohol intake moderate that day.
Ordered:

The plate with 4 types of meat was impressive. The meat was very tender. Considering the quality of the meat, it was reasonably priced.
- Negi shio tan (salted green onion tongue): ¥980
Wrapped the salted green onion that came after grilling around the tongue. Delicious!
- Black Wagyu yukke: ¥1,280
Fresh raw beef yukke in vacuum-sealed pack! It was very tasty. I will definitely order it again.

Ordered out of curiosity. It was a spicy squid and namul salad.

The original harami dish is satisfying. The sauce is delicious. The large serving of the original harami seems to offer good value for money. The lunch tray is too big and gets in the way. There is no place to rest chopsticks, making it difficult to eat.

Harumilunch from Motoyoshi, the first restaurant in Japan to serve harami. It was cheap so I understand, but I wished I had another piece of meat. It was delicious though. Thank you for the meal!

I often use this place when I want to eat meat. I always add some set with chijimi, kupp, tail soup, etc. to my order. I occasionally order Nobunaga-yaki, which is a bit greasy so be careful, but it's good once in a while. The quality of the meat here is good, and no matter what I order, it's basically delicious. The restaurant is spacious, and ventilation is done properly, so there is no need to worry about COVID infection. And yet, the cost performance is good, so it's always popular. Maybe that's why chain restaurants like this one have fewer misses when it comes to yakiniku.
