After taking a picture of the menu, we ordered a snack set and finished drinking our draft beer. We were so engrossed in eating that we forgot to take a picture of the Full Moon Yaki and Octopus Fried Rice. The food was well received by my family! We would like to visit again next time. After a long time, when I found cabbage at home, I coated it with flour, added eggs, dashi, and quickly made okonomiyaki! I often eat okonomiyaki at home, but lately cabbage has been expensive, so I haven't been making it. I wander around this area for work, so today I went to a restaurant for okonomiyaki after a long time. Although I have been here many times before, I haven't written a review. There are many restaurants around here, but this is my second visit based on the previous reviews. It's been seven years since I last came here. Even though I pass by this street almost every day. It's rare for me to visit after such a long time! And it's a lunch visit for the first time! They had a proper lunch menu! Of course, when it comes to okonomiyaki, rice, miso soup, and side dishes are a must! The okonomiyaki I had after a long time at the restaurant was delicious! Rice is also free for refills! I can't have a refill, but I really want to eat okonomiyaki with rice, so I end up feeling frustrated when there's leftover okonomiyaki. I want to eat it with rice. This is the same even when I eat at home, but figuring out the right proportion to eat is difficult. (laughs)

My son entered a university in Osaka, so after the entrance ceremony, we decided to have a family dinner. We thought, let's try Osaka's famous food! We tried looking for okonomiyaki, kushikatsu, and takoyaki in Minami and Rinku Town, but couldn't find any open shops. On our way back to the university dorm, we found a shop that served okonomiyaki. We ordered three types: mix, pork, and mochi cheese, and I added doteyaki (stewed beef tendons) for myself. The veteran lady at the shop struggled to cook them due to low heat, but eventually, they turned out crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It was a new experience for me, and I was surprised by how satisfying it was. We all enjoyed the meal, and my son even ordered yakisoba. After dropping off my son at the dorm, my wife went sightseeing in Osaka the next day while I drove back to Atsugi. We stopped by the superstore Tamade for some late-night snacks and breakfast supplies, as well as some snacks for the road. Tamade was really cheap and had a great selection, making the visit enjoyable.

For me, who has been living in Wakayama for 1 year and 8 months, this was my third time at an okonomiyaki restaurant in Osaka. After finishing a lecture in Izumisano, we had a party with the staff. Since I didn't know the area well, I left it to the locals. It was delicious! It was packed with ingredients, much more than it looked. The sauce, mayonnaise, and mustard were just right. The performance of the staff at the restaurant was fantastic. It was like art! When we left, there were many people waiting at the entrance. It's a popular place. I found a delicious okonomiyaki restaurant. I will definitely come back again!

The shop we went to was known for making good okonomiyaki, so our company decided to go there together. The seating inside was a bit tight, but the atmosphere was lively. When we ordered okonomiyaki, the staff came to cook it for us. They had a skilled hand and the okonomiyaki looked delicious. However, the portion size was smaller than expected. The okonomiyaki was fluffy and the taste was decent. There were various other items on the menu, but the cost performance might be a bit low.

This is my favorite okonomiyaki restaurant that I always visit when I go to Osaka. I usually go with about four people and order okonomiyaki with pork, negiyaki, omusoba, doteyaki, and share them. They cook it right in front of you, so the savory sauce, the way they generously drizzle the mayonnaise, it all adds to the artistic presentation that increases your appetite even more. And it never disappoints.

The okonomiyaki with mayonnaise performance is enjoyable. It is cooked at the restaurant, but it takes quite a bit of time, so ordering a speed menu is necessary. The sauce is quite sweet and thick to my taste. Reservation is required.

I often come to this restaurant to eat okonomiyaki. They serve lunch until 2 pm, and the lunch menu is very diverse, so you can eat to your heart's content. I particularly love their ton yakisoba, which is incredibly delicious. The yakisoba noodles are thick and chewy, providing a satisfying meal. Today, I had the ladies' set lunch. I came back to Izumi and went to Mangetsu for the first time in a while. I think I've been coming here for about 20 years now? I used to always cook and eat by myself at this restaurant, but now they cook it for you. I was surprised at how well the staff cooked the negi suji. When I do it myself, it tends to fall apart (laughs). Today, I ordered the mangetsu yaki and negi suji. I was surprised to find that the mangetsu yaki contains beef. This is unusual. And delicious. I used to just eat it casually, but when it was cooked for me, it was quite tasty. I'm not sure if it has simply become more delicious over the years or if the staff's cooking skills have improved, but it was very delicious today. It was juicy and perfectly cooked, but I was surprised that it took an hour to cook. It was nice to be able to chat leisurely with an old friend today, but if you're usually short on time, it might be difficult to go. It's definitely worth it because it's delicious when cooked slowly. I would like to come back when I visit Osaka next time.

I went to the restaurant with my junior for a mini practice session before training. It was lunchtime and the place was already full, with the parking lot packed. We decided to have okonomiyaki as per my junior's request. I ordered the lunch special, pork okonomiyaki. Since my junior was driving, I also ordered a beer. The combination of savory snacks and beer is just irresistibly delicious, especially for someone from Kansai like me. The food was so good that even though we had to wait in line, it was worth it. The okonomiyaki was not too soft like a waraikayaki, and the portion was just right. Overall, it was a delicious meal without any flaws. It may not be a standout dish, but it definitely met my standards. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I had okonomiyaki. I used to go to a shop called Dotombori Ponpokopon, but it closed down. I stayed away from okonomiyaki places because I have a baby and the hot plate can be dangerous. Tonight, I felt like having okonomiyaki again, and it seemed like everyone else felt the same way. So, we tried a new okonomiyaki restaurant called Mangetsu. It's always crowded when we pass by, but when we went around 6 pm, there was no wait. I thought they only had table seats, but they also had tatami rooms in the back. We ordered the Mangetsu-yaki, which costs 1200 yen. It's a luxurious okonomiyaki with beef, scallops, shrimp, and squid. It was delicious after not having it for a long time. My grandson has an egg allergy, so he had onigiri and miso soup instead. When he started getting restless, we left around 7:30 pm, and on our way back, the place was crowded with people waiting in line as usual.

Good evening! Tonight, I had okonomiyaki. It's a very popular restaurant around here, always with long lines. Many customers even make reservations. The waitress cooks it for you. I ordered the "Ton-Tama" for 682 yen, "Negi-yaki" for 840 yen, "Mix-yaki" for 913 yen, "Ton-yakisoba" for 630 yen, "Hiroshima-yaki" for 924 yen, and "Kaki Butter" for 714 yen. The okonomiyaki was fluffy and very delicious. The restaurant is called "Iroha Mangetsu," located in Osaka, founded in 1926 as a butcher shop. In 1975, they opened a food store called "Super Iroha." In 1995, they opened "Iroha Mangetsu" specializing in okonomiyaki and teppanyaki. They currently have branches in Kishiwada, Sakai, and Kawachinagano. Thank you for the meal. I stopped by Iroha Mangetsu in Izumisano for dinner. The cooking on the large teppan behind the counter was familiar, but cooking at the table felt a bit too close and awkward. I ordered the Tonpei-yaki, Negi-sujikon-yaki, and a standard okonomiyaki. The Tonpei-yaki and okonomiyaki were both fluffy and delicious. The Negi-sujikon-yaki was a surprise with its generous amount of green onions, almost like replacing cabbage with negi. The flavor was light and soy sauce-based, and the texture made it feel like I was eating something other than okonomiyaki.

When I went back home, I visited the okonomiyaki restaurant "Iroha Mangetsu". I didn't expect to wait in line, especially during lunchtime. There are a few other okonomiyaki restaurants nearby, but this one seems to be quite popular. I decided to try their specialty dish, the "Mangetsu-yaki". It was loaded with domestic beef, scallops, shrimp, and squid. They cook it on a hot plate, starting with cooking the ingredients and batter separately, then sandwiching the ingredients between the batter. The first photo shows the finished Mangetsu-yaki, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and it was delicious. I also tried their yakisoba, which had sweet cabbage and was tasty. Another highlight was the fried octopus, with a unique crunchy texture using cornflakes in the batter. It was delicious with tartar sauce. Overall, it was a very delicious okonomiyaki experience. Delicious!
