Ichiro's favorite Kobe restaurant has opened in Hakata. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, it has been open for 2 and a half years. The restaurant is located near Reisen Park, within walking distance from Hotel Okura and Nakasu. We started with beef tongue sashimi, followed by delicious stone-grilled salted beef tongue. The harami, beef tongue stew, and beef tongue and shiso rice were also delicious. The soup and salad were tasty as well, and even the ice cream was good. We had a satisfying course meal. The restaurant has both counter seats and two private rooms. It is owned by former professional baseball players from SoftBank and Rakuten.

This is a delicious beef tongue restaurant where former Softbank Hawks player Kozai, who was drafted and recorded his first hit and home run, wields his skills. It is said that this restaurant is a branch of a beef tongue restaurant loved by Ichiro. On this day, my colleague and I made a reservation and visited for lunch. We were seated at the counter for our meal. We started with beef intestine sashimi, which was my first time trying and it was a delicious dish that made me want some alcohol. Next, we had a salad for some vitamin replenishment. The main dish, beef tongue, was served after grilling thick slices and cutting them into small, easy-to-eat pieces. The beef tongue already had flavor, so we enjoyed it with the wasabi provided. The next dish was beef tongue stew, a delicious stew that had been simmered slowly. The rice was beef tongue and shiso rice, with small pieces of beef tongue mixed in. After finishing the rice, we enjoyed a delicious soup for a break. Finally, we had sherbet for dessert and ended this enjoyable lunch. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a building in a alleyway midway between Ohori Park and Meiji Street in Hakata.
