The beef tongue is thick and delicious, especially when squeezed with lemon juice and topped with foamy garlic before grilling. Of course, the other meats were also delicious ❤️ The meat was fresh and beautiful. The kimchi, namul, and cold noodles were also tasty. It was a shame that the chijimi was sold out. The Jeju makgeolli was easy to drink and delicious. The staff were friendly, energetic, and it's a great restaurant.

I can only order enough for the number of people, special or high-grade tongue! I come here to eat this! It's delicious to eat it with garlic paste on top! But it's so smelly! I always end up with stomachache and bad breath the next day, so it's good to try other meats the day before your day off!

Located in the yakiniku street near Tsuruhashi Station. Highly recommend the beef tongue, it goes perfectly with the garlic sour cream that comes with it. The prices may vary, but considering the taste, it doesn't feel expensive at all! The kimchi was also delicious, typical of Tsuruhashi.

Thanks to a certain connection, I visited this place for the first time. The cream garlic was amazing! I definitely want to come back for more. Every type of meat was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first BBQ experience in a while. It's conveniently located near the station, so I ended up staying longer than planned. Even the cold noodles at the end were satisfying.

Ikoyaa in Tsuruhashi! Let's cut to the chase - it was a big hit! The food was delicious, the staff were lovely and wonderful, it was really great! But the best part was the garlic cream sauce! This mysterious garlic cream sauce was so intriguing! When I asked how they made it, the staff just smiled and said, "It's a company secret." It was hilarious! The meat was all delicious, the boss-like person was also a nice guy, it was the best! Thank you for the incredibly tasty yakiniku! It's definitely one of the yakiniku restaurants I want to visit again. Highly recommended!

This is a long-standing yakiniku restaurant in Tsuruhashi. It has been in business since the 1960s, so both the exterior and interior have a vintage feel, creating a very nice atmosphere. Their specialty is the tongue salt, which is grilled on one side with garlic cream on top. The garlic is sourced from Aomori, and its addictive deliciousness pairs perfectly with beer. The hormone dishes like teppanyaki and raw liver are all of high quality, either due to the meat itself or skilled preparation, making them a must-try. The special sauce at this restaurant is exceptionally delicious, allowing you to fully enjoy the meat dishes. Plastic bags for storing jackets and bags to avoid smoke are provided at each table. The staff's service is natural and just right, making it a favorite place to enjoy a meal comfortably. Thank you for the feast!

Visited alone in April 2023. ◆Order Menu◆ - Salted Tongue: 1780 yen - Sirloin: 1280 yen Located in a corner of the yakiniku district in Tsuruhashi, Osaka, this long-established yakiniku restaurant was founded in 1966. When you sit down, they bring charcoal in a pot for you. The cream garlic that comes with the salted tongue is placed on one side of the tongue after grilling. The garlic has a mild flavor that quickly loses its pungency. I found it a bit lacking for my taste, so I was recommended the sirloin. It had a good texture and a pleasant mouthfeel.

I went to a restaurant that was used by Mr. Kuwata for a TV shoot, thanks to my friend who is a fan of him. Inside the restaurant, there was a T-shirt signed by Mr. Kuwata displayed, which was a treat for fans. If you're going to eat tongue, I recommend the premium tongue. The oxtail soup was also delicious, with a rich oxtail broth.

Before 5 p.m. on a regular day, I made a reservation and walked about 2 minutes from Tsuruhashi Station. I was considering a place in Tsuruhashi that looked good for yakiniku and was available for reservations. It turns out the restaurant was established in 1966 and had a cool, traditional atmosphere. I made a reservation for 5 p.m., but feeling tired from walking and seeing that they opened at 3 p.m., I decided to visit a bit early. The staff warmly welcomed us, and they were from the original country of yakiniku, providing excellent service. The restaurant was decorated with many autographed boards and tiger paintings, giving a real sense of a long-established yakiniku place. They had a system where you put your belongings and jackets in plastic bags provided at the table. They used charcoal grills, so the smoke tends to fill the air. There was also a second floor, but we chose to sit on the first floor. Our order included a large bottle of beer, makgeolli, whiskey and coke highball, various cuts of meat, kimchi, and rice. We started with a toast with beer, and the chanja had a sesame flavor. The kimchi was also delicious. The sauce had a fruity and Japanese taste, a unique experience. Now, onto the meat. There are two must-try items at this restaurant. First, the premium salted tongue with plenty of creamy garlic. Grilling one side and enjoying it with the garlic cream was incredibly delicious. I'm not sure how it's made, but it had a strong garlic flavor with a mild and smooth taste. It reminded me of a dish from Kochi. The other highlight was the jar-pickled beef tongue. Served in a small jar with four thick slices of tongue. The meat was marinated in a deep and flavorful sauce, making it very tasty. Although the mino sandwich was sold out, the mino itself was fantastic. We also enjoyed the tender and flavorful cuts of beef with some rice. Despite having a light meal due to consuming a lot of starch earlier in the day, we left completely satisfied. Finally, I was able to enjoy yakiniku in Tsuruhashi, and the achievement added to the overall experience. I can't wait to go back and try the jar-pickled beef tongue again. Thank you very much for the delicious meal.

The highlight is definitely the salted tongue in the photo. It has a delicious flavor different from grated garlic, and I was impressed when I first tried it. If you love garlic, you must go and order the salted tongue. It's so delicious that you might end up eating too much and have to be careful at work the next day, but it's worth it as it's so tasty. All the other meats are also delicious no matter what you order.

Hello there. I went for lunch today. I made a reservation for after 1pm. It was quite busy. Let's see, the menu looked like this. I started with a non-alcoholic toast. Kimchi. Tongue. Creamy garlic. Surprisingly light. First time trying sashimi. Grilled over charcoal. The chicken was good too. The garlic cream was not as addictive as I expected. However, the restaurant is quite popular and filled with regular customers. Thank you for the meal. Well then.

Kigakuen Main Store Established in 1966, this popular yakiniku restaurant uses charcoal to grill the meat, making it incredibly delicious. The meat grilled over the hot charcoal is simply amazing. One of the specialties is the creamy garlic sauce made from Aomori-grown garlic, which is spread on the tongue before eating. Menu items include the Kigakuen Set for 3980 yen (top harami, top sirloin, top kalbi), the Volume Set for 2980 yen (sirloin, kalbi, harami, grilled tongue), top salted tongue for 1780 yen, Tecchan for 880 yen, Oxtail Soup for 1200 yen, and Bibim noodles for 880 yen. No matter what you choose to eat, you will be satisfied with the quality of the meat. The oxtail soup here is a must-try as it is very generous in portion and the meat is tender and full of collagen. Definitely worth a visit! #Yakiniku #Korean #Tsuruhashi #TsuruhashiGourmet #TsuruhashiYakiniku #Kigakuen #Charcoal #TsuruhashiShoppingStreet #YakinikuLunch #OsakaYakiniku #Osaka #OsakaGourmet #KansaiGourmet #FoodieGirls #OxtailSoup #BibimNoodles #TsuruhashiStation #KansaiYakiniku

I visited Kirakuen, where you can enjoy charcoal-grilled yakiniku on Yakiniku Street. I recommend the premium salted tongue, grilled with lemon juice squeezed on one side and topped with a unique creamy garlic. The sauce has a nice miso garlic flavor. The lean meat is also delicious here. Don't miss out on the rich and delicious chige. After enjoying the meal, I relaxed at Enba no Yu sauna. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Established in 1966 in Osaka's Tsuruhashi district, this long-standing yakiniku restaurant is frequented by celebrities and notable figures. They grill carefully selected Japanese black beef on a shichirin grill. The staff will teach you how to cook the meat and eat it with their special sauce. Their specialty salted tongue, which is coated with garlic paste, is especially delicious. Located just a 1-minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station, this restaurant is a must-visit for yakiniku lovers!

I found a traditional old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant while wandering around during the year-end tradition of visiting Tsuruhashi for the second time. As soon as I entered the restaurant, there was thick smoke everywhere, making it impossible to see the back. Well, having the smell of smoke stick to your clothes is part of the charm of old-fashioned yakiniku restaurants. I like to call this smoke perfume "Kemuri de Odor Toilette". It seems this restaurant was established in 1966. I started with the premium salted tongue. The style here is to squeeze lemon and cook one side first, then top it with garlic cream before eating. It was tender with a nice texture and no unpleasant smell. The garlic cream was addictive. It was delicious. Another standout was the premium loin. It had a good amount of marbling. If you're going to order harami, the premium harami is definitely better than the regular one. However, compared to other restaurants, it may have less juiciness. The tongue sashimi was also very tasty. The kimchi platter was all deliciously spicy. I will even wear my good Uniqlo clothes knowing they might absorb the smell. I was satisfied.

When you think of Tsuruhashi, you think of Koreatown, yakiniku, and samgyeopsal! So I decided to go to Tsuruhashi thinking I would definitely find some good yakiniku. As I was strolling around looking for a nice restaurant, I came across a sign that said "Help yourself"! I thought to myself, this place must be good with that kind of confidence! So I decided to enter Kairakuen. It was a big hit! The interior of the restaurant had a nostalgic atmosphere and was almost full, showing that it was a popular spot. The quality of the meat was outstanding, especially the harami was delicious. Harami is famous at yakiniku restaurants in Osaka, but I am a fan of the harami here! The sauce was also delicious. The tongue was served with garlic paste on top to grill, which was a unique style! (I had to work the next day, but I ate a lot of garlic) Even the dessert was delicious until the end. This place might be a hidden gem! I found it!!! Before it becomes too popular, be sure to visit ☀️ It has already become my favorite yakiniku restaurant!

Volume set ¥2980 Grilled shabu-shabu ¥2100 Premium salted tongue ¥1600 etc. When you get off at the station, you can smell the aroma of grilled meat, that's the story in Tsuruhashi. I was walking in Tsuruhashi with the intention of going for yakiniku, without a specific restaurant in mind. As I passed by, I noticed a shop that caught my attention. There was a signboard that said "Established in 1966, feel free to come in." The noren curtain looked quite appealing. This kind of old-school yakiniku place is just my style. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a slightly smoky but lively atmosphere. There was the classic old-school yakiniku experience waiting for me. This is it, this is what I like. And then, another surprising thing happened... When I ordered the premium salted tongue, it came with some white stuff. It turned out to be garlic cream. I was so curious that I immediately started grilling the meat. After cooking one side just right, I topped it with the garlic cream and took a bite. The slightly mellow garlic cream perfectly matched the flavor and richness of the tongue. It was delicious. The other meats were also of great quality and quantity, typical of a classic yakiniku experience. The reason why this place has survived for over 50 years in the yakiniku mecca was certainly evident here. Thank you very much.

It's been a long time since I visited Tsuruhashi. It's my first time since the start of the pandemic, so it's been almost 2 years. The purpose, of course, is for yakiniku. This time, we went to a restaurant recommended by my friends. The restaurant has a historic atmosphere that really gives you the feeling of eating yakiniku in Tsuruhashi. We started with a mixed platter, and then focused on ordering harami. I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos, but the beer was flowing and the atmosphere was great. Definitely a place I will visit again!

■Exterior360 degrees, as far as the eye can see, is a yakiniku restaurant. In the unique "yakiniku town" of Tsuruhashi, there is a place with a special tradition called "Kiraku (Kiraku-en)". It opened in 1966 and has been loved for over 50 years. I decided to find out the reason behind its long-lasting popularity by dining alone. ■InteriorInside, there is a charcoal grill stove and sticky tables that appeal to the hearts of yakiniku lovers in the downtown area. The walls are adorned with the signatures of famous people, which speaks volumes about the depth of history. ■Creamy Garlic TongueI ordered the specialty menu item, salted tongue. While it may look like a typical tongue dish, what sets it apart is the "Creamy Garlic" that comes with it. I carefully grilled it without overcooking, then added the creamy garlic when ready. The combination of smooth cream and fragrant garlic elevates the quality of the tongue. Delicious. I then placed the tongue on top of rice, a combination not commonly heard of. But with its juicy texture, it pairs well with white rice. ■RibeyeI wanted to order another serving of tongue, but I restrained myself and ordered ribeye instead. I enjoyed it with a nice sear on the outside. The glistening visual appeal, combined with the umami flavor, made it a dish that also goes well with rice. ■Tteok SoupSince I was dining alone, I finished with tteok soup after just two meat dishes. Next time, I'd like to enjoy it with a group of friends over drinks. ■PriceApproximately 4000 yen per person. In addition to what was mentioned, I also had heart sashimi and three glasses of oolong tea. The price can vary significantly depending on whether you choose to eat rare cuts. ■ConclusionHaving experienced over 100 yakiniku restaurants, this was my third visit to the Tsuruhashi area. Surprisingly, it didn't disappoint, so I plan to consider it in the future. Kiraku, a yakiniku restaurant loved for over 50 years in Tsuruhashi. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Today, I had a plan to have a daytime drink in Tsuruhashi. I was curious about this restaurant and their Creamy Garlic dish. There are many places I want to visit in Tsuruhashi, but today I want to go to a few different places for drinks, so I decided to start with the Salted Tongue with Creamy Garlic. First, I ordered a draft beer. I should have ordered a bottled beer - it feels more like day drinking. While thinking about that, the Salted Tongue with Creamy Garlic arrived. I know how to eat it. Squeeze plenty of lemon, grill one side, and add the Creamy Garlic! First bite... it's delicious. And the grilling on one side is really good. The combination with the Creamy Garlic is amazing! It's dangerously good. I ate the Salted Tongue and drank the beer in one gulp. The daytime drinking cost me 3,150 yen. I finished the Salted Tongue in no time. I might have eaten too much garlic. I'm a bit worried on my way home. I only planned to eat the Salted Tongue and go to the second place, but I couldn't resist and ended up ordering the Beef Intestines and Upper Stomach. What a great encounter. Creamy Garlic, I will visit you again. Thank you for the meal.
