First of all, be prepared to wait in line for lunch! But you know, for breakfast, you don't have to wait in line and you can feel really great. EJ Bokujou is a popular Western-style restaurant in the local area, judging from the counter setup, it may have originally been a steakhouse. One weekend, my husband was working and I had a reservation for a COVID vaccine in the morning, so before that, I went to this place nearby for a solo breakfast. The breakfast menu has several options, all for a single coin, which is amazing in this era of price hikes. So, I don't really want to tell anyone about it, but a single-coin breakfast is just wonderful. In terms of breakfast alone, I would give it a rating of around 3.6 or 3.7, it's that great. It may not be very hearty, but everything is done with care and attention to detail. Since it's a Western-style restaurant, the father is busy preparing a mountain of shredded cabbage in the kitchen in the morning, while the mother is preparing various dishes for lunch. The mother has a very short and boyish hairstyle, but she pays attention to the customers and shows delicate care. I love this place personally because her hairstyle is similar to my mother's. The son seems to be the main one running the place now, with his wife helping out. The family atmosphere of the four people is heartwarming to watch. And I also love that the staff never chat among themselves, they clearly separate work and personal life. Going back to the day I visited, the breakfast set I ordered was curry with iced coffee. The curry was just the right size for eating with one slice of toast, with a carefully arranged vegetable salad and a half-boiled egg on half a buttered toast. The mini-sized curry with the iced coffee made me very satisfied. Among the breakfasts in the neighborhood since this summer, this is the best one. And I always recommend the curry for breakfast. Oh, and if there are any photos left of the popular lunch menu, it's the katsu curry. The katsu has gotten smaller compared to before, so if you want more volume, the hamburger curry might be better. I asked for less rice, and the lunch menu starts from 1,000 yen. There are new combination menus with 2 or 3 dishes for those who want more volume. Unfortunately, I wouldn't order this, so I can't show photos, but you can also be satisfied with lunch here. However, if you happen to pass by this area in the morning, be sure to try the breakfast set at EJ Bokujou. You will definitely be satisfied. The breakfast time is from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
