I visited the Tenkaippin Shijo-nawate store and tried the Extra Rich MAX for ¥1220. It was the richest ramen I've ever had. The extremely rich soup was not meant to be drunk, but rather eaten. Thank you for the delicious meal. See you again tomorrow.

What's great about this place is that when you order ramen, you get all-you-can-eat service. They used to have desserts like almond jelly and pickles, but unfortunately the variety has decreased. Still, it's better than nothing. The bean sprout namul is delicious. I wish they would share the recipe. I always have to get the spicy garlic chives too. And I love topping my rich ramen with a mountain of green onions! I try to balance out the richness by adding vegetables, but I'm still desperate (lol). Also, the small-sized dumplings are tasty. Personally, I prefer the ones without wings over the current ones.

Tenichi was a rich ramen and rice, but this time I challenged toppings for the first time! I ordered a rich ramen with rice and topped it with beef tendon and hormone. Furthermore, this shop had a service corner where you could add bean sprout namul, garlic chives, and chopped green onions as toppings (^ω^) There was even Sata Andagi♡ It's too good to be true☆☆☆ First time trying toppings! It was amazing⤴︎⤴︎⤴︎ I was so impressed! I also managed to finish the dive and left feeling full and satisfied♡ It was delicious♪ Thank you for the meal~

In October of the 4th year of Reiwa, the operating hours are from 11:00 to 24:00. The rich and flavorful ramen costs 920 yen and still maintains the delicious taste that Tenkaippin is known for. However, due to recent price increases, it has become quite expensive. They have a free side dish corner offering items like green onions, garlic, bean sprout namul, sata andagi, and pickles, which is a nice touch. I was lucky to win the B prize, a super rich mini bowl, at the Tenkaippin festival.

The rich ramen costs 920 yen, with an additional 50 yen for red pepper topping. The gyoza set meal is around 1200 yen. Lately, it's becoming common for set meals to be over 1000 yen. My honest opinion is that I didn't need the red pepper on the ramen, and the gyoza was disappointing. The ramen has a unique style, so I was hoping the gyoza would be more distinctive as well.

Around 17:55, with about 30% of the customers seated, I sat at the counter seat at the back of the restaurant. I ordered a fried rice set with rich ramen and a serving of gyoza. It seemed like I had to go get my own toppings, so I chose grated garlic, bean sprouts, and green onions. The set arrived in about 7 minutes, followed by the gyoza 3 minutes later. The broth of the ramen was indeed rich and those who like it heavy would enjoy it. It was so rich that even though I added garlic like crazy, it didn't change much. The noodles were thin and curly, with normal green onions. The chashu was okay. The bean sprouts were tasty so I got a refill. I received two pieces of Sata Andagi, which were sweet and firm. The fried rice was normal and the gyoza was okay. I paid 1530 yen in cash and decided to head to the convenience store.

I visited Tenkaippin in Osaka, then had business meetings in Hiroshima, Osaka city, and Neyagawa before returning to Tenkaippin in Osaka. It took me 7 hours to travel. Just like I remembered, the Tenkaippin in Osaka offers free negi and nira toppings. I hope the Tenkaippin in Fukuoka introduces nira toppings too. Today, I had lunch at Tenkaippin. When you think of Tenkaippin, you think of "rich and flavorful" ramen. I ordered the lunch set with a Mayochashu rice bowl. This restaurant offers a topping service at the entrance. While waiting for my ramen to arrive, I enjoyed some bean sprout namul. The rich soup was just as delicious as I remembered, thick and satisfying. I even noticed that there was more soup than I had experienced at other branches before, and there was a sign on the wall saying they had increased the amount of soup. This was a nice surprise. I always wondered what made the soup so thick and delicious, and I learned that it's made with chicken broth. The Mayochashu rice bowl was topped with sliced pork belly and mayonnaise, a hearty and tasty dish. After the meal, I treated myself to some Sata Andagi from the topping corner, and left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I arrived at around 11:10 on a regular day. There was no wait, just a few customers ahead of me. This place seems popular with its own parking lot. I ordered the "A set" with rice and added the "Akampin 2 Spicy" as my topping, which was my main purpose for this visit. I won't review the taste of the classic "Kotteri Ramen" from Tenkaippin since it's well-known, so I'll focus on the new menu item, the "Akampin." I generally like spicy food, and I've even added chili oil to the spicy miso ramen at Tenkaippin before. Here's my review: When it arrived, I could smell the habanero, along with various other spices. After mixing it lightly, I took a bite. "Hmm, it's spicy but doesn't seem to match well..." Maybe the "Spicy Miso" would be a better fit? One great thing about the Shijo-Nawate location is the option to use the buffet. This is quite rare for Tenkaippin. I grabbed some spicy miso, garlic chives, and green onions from the buffet and added them in. A drizzle of chili oil later, and it became just right for my taste. I was looking forward to trying the "Akampin," but for an extra 200 yen, it might not be worth it. The staff was friendly, and I'd like to visit again.

I started to really enjoy rich ramen about 5 years ago. After avoiding it for a while, I began to eat it occasionally. I like how the rich soup coats the noodles, allowing me to enjoy both the noodles and the soup together.

I visited after work and ordered the lunch menu that was on the table. I ordered the ☆A lunch for 850 yen, tax included, which is basically a ramen and rice set. Even though it was past 4pm, there were still a few customers in the restaurant. Some customers were also getting takeout. The service was efficient and overall it was a great dining experience. There is no Tenkaippin in my neighborhood, so when I found one while out, I was thrilled and went in. Of course, I ordered the rich and savory ramen. I also ordered the Tenshinhan (Tianjin-style rice). I was so eager to eat that I forgot to take a picture until after I finished. I wonder if this restaurant has more side dishes compared to other Tenkaippin locations? It feels like they have a good selection of dishes to pair with alcohol. The staff were energetic and the atmosphere was great. I wish there were more Tenkaippin restaurants like this one. It was delicious!

I started eating here 35 years ago and used to come regularly, but I haven't been here much in the past 10 years. Fried rice set: 1100 yen: 3.3 points Ramen (regular) rich: 3.3 points. I had the rich ramen for the first time in a while. It's the original thick soup, isn't it? I remember being surprised by how innovative it was 35 years ago, and I used to go to the store in front of Sakaihigashi Station a lot, but now it feels normal. Fried rice: 3.3 points. The fried rice was delicious and had a nice texture. PayPay is accepted at this store. Parking: About 10 spaces available.

I happened to pass by while cycling and reluctantly decided to enter. I thought the prices would be high, but still went in. It was a weekend evening, with only a few customers. Since all the table seats were empty, I was told to sit at a spacious table for four. Looking at the menu, there were various options like tonkatsu, beef tendons, more like a set meal restaurant than a ramen shop. There used to be a service counter with various condiments like Fukuchian where you could help yourself, but due to the impact of COVID-19, it was no longer available. I ordered the "rich ramen with extra hormones" for 1,120 or 1,170 yen, I think... The price setting is still quite high. It arrived in about 5 minutes. Let's eat. The taste was a bit unreliable for Tenka, but I guess it's okay. It said they increased the amount of soup! and I did feel that. Tenka usually has little soup, so this was considerate. The hormone topping was not processed to be easy to chew, and it lingered in the mouth like rubber. I'm not satisfied with the volume for the price, but even if they put more of this toughness in, it would be troublesome... Well... I don't think I would come here on purpose. Sorry.

This is the Tenkaippin Shijo-Nawate branch. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. Despite being a weekday, the restaurant was bustling and almost full. It is located along the southbound lane of Route 170. The exterior of the store is striking with black and red colors, making it easy to spot. There is a parking lot around the restaurant. Inside, the store has a clean atmosphere with many table and counter seats. The staff's service was lively and polite. The ramen menu offers six varieties: rich, light, street food flavor, unique flavor, spicy, and sea salt, with prices varying based on size and toppings. There are interesting toppings like hormone and beef tendon available. The menu also includes a variety of side dishes and set meals combining ramen with other dishes. One highlight is the Demi-Glace & Cheese Hamburger, which seems to be a popular item. The condiment corner is well-stocked with around 10 toppings available for free, such as pickled vegetables. On this day, I ordered the rich ramen (regular) for 820 yen with an additional W Chashu for 360 yen. I usually order Chashu ramen, so I reflexively ordered it without exploring other options. The ramen arrived shortly, featuring the signature rich soup of Tenkaippin and a generous amount of Chashu due to the W Chashu topping. The other toppings included green onions and bamboo shoots, keeping it simple. The soup was rich and flavorful, made by simmering chicken bones and vegetables thoroughly. It had that addictive taste that makes you crave it occasionally. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles cooked to a normal firmness. The high viscosity of the soup made the noodles cling well to it. The Chashu was lean and large, providing a satisfying chew. Its mild seasoning paired well with the rich soup. This was my first visit to the Shijo-Nawate branch, and I was impressed by the unique toppings and overall experience. The friendly staff and quality of the food make it a place I would definitely visit again if it were closer to home.

I'm getting hungry, so I'm going to have ramen at a nearby Ten Ichi. Today, I'll have a mix of rich and light flavors... I'll go for the rich one~ The official name is "Yatai no Aji" but... they don't understand "rich flavor" here!! (o゚Д゚ノ)ノ If I say "rich flavor," it should be understood!! ( ;゚皿゚)ノシ!! Chain stores usually don't write reviews, but I had their New Year's soba! I'm happy that they are open during the New Year holidays (laughs). I prefer light flavors over rich ones, but I indulged in rich food during the New Year holidays. It's delicious to have it once in a while!

Almost everyone knows about Tenkaippin. Even though it's a well-known franchise, the taste can vary depending on the owner. I personally think the Tenkaippin here is delicious. When you visit Tenkaippin, you must try the "kotsarari" which is considered a sinful dish, but it was delicious.
