Osaka is Kita. Kita Shinchi? West of Kita Shinchi?? From the street north of Avanza, cross Yotsubashi-suji, pass the second corner, and on the first floor of a building just ahead, this shop was located. By chance, we had some business nearby, and even in this time when there were few people around, customers were quietly entering the shop, so we were curious and decided to visit. Upon entering the shop, it had a luxurious feel, and seemed a bit expensive. Oh, it's Shinchi after all... I was a little nervous, but when we received the menu, it wasn't that bad. We started with a platter of hors d'oeuvres and a draft beer, and were served a beautifully arranged cocktail of fresh vegetables and various dipping sauces. The waiter who brought them was very polite and elegant, which was very nice. The location of the shop is on the west side of Yotsubashi, and the atmosphere of the shop is calm and relaxing, making it very comfortable. It felt perfect for when you want to have a leisurely meal. The hors d'oeuvres we ordered were also varied and very delicious. So, we switched from beer to wine. Should we order some meat? Looking at the menu, with names like "God Lamp" and "God Ichibo," the typical exaggerated naming actually made me lose my enthusiasm... But, I still wanted to eat meat, so we avoided the intimidating "God" class and ordered the top and special combination. Of course, we added wine and eagerly waited. When the perfectly cooked, slightly warm, pink meat arrived, it looked very delicious! And once again, the beautiful waitress explained the recommended way to eat it in detail, and when we followed her instructions, it was incredibly delicious, way beyond its price. It was exactly my preference, with a good amount of lean meat and less fat, making the wine go down smoothly. I want to revisit soon with my meat-loving, wine-loving friends.
