"Sushi no Sensho" is a sushi restaurant located right next to Hakodate Station, where you can enjoy seasonal seafood. Situated in the dining area of Donburi Yokocho Market, just a 3-minute walk from Hakodate Station, this restaurant stands out among the many seafood bowl eateries in the vicinity. The interior features a straight counter with 8 seats, decorated with Louis Vuitton patterns and goods. The menu offers a variety of sushi options, such as "5 pieces of Nigiri (1,100 yen)," "7 pieces of Chirashi (1,650 yen)," "9 pieces of Maki (2,200 yen)," "10 pieces of Deluxe Nigiri (2,750 yen)," "Chef's Choice 10 pieces (3,300 yen)," and "Sensho Chef's Choice Course (11,000 yen)." I opted for the "Chef's Choice 10 pieces" on this visit. The menu for the day included Kinmedai, Hokke, Tsubugai, Tokishirazu, Snow Crab, Scallop, Botan Shrimp, Bluefin Tuna Otoro, Ikura, Uni, and Miso Soup. The total bill for my meal was 3,520 yen. Although I was disappointed that the shishamo was sold out, I was satisfied with the fresh and delicious selection of sushi. The Tokishirazu stood out with its transparent appearance and strong sweetness, while the Uni and Ikura showcased the reliable and delicious flavors of the northern region. The sushi was exceptionally fresh throughout. The presence of Louis Vuitton items and caviar dishes may seem out of place, but the restaurant also had Louis Vuitton sushi cases and a row of Supreme sake cups on the counter, adding a unique touch. The owner used to run a members-only sushi restaurant, and brought all these luxury items to the new location. With a wide selection of high-end alcohol and a blend of brand elements, "Sushi no Sensho" offers a different experience compared to the typical seafood bowl eateries in the area. If you want to savor your favorite sushi at your own pace, I recommend visiting this unique sushi restaurant to enjoy a memorable dining experience during your travels.
