Finally managed to sneak in here! I've been curious about their morning set and tried to go a few times, but the timing never seemed to work out. On this day, I thought they probably weren't serving morning set, but when I arrived, I saw the sign! However, it was just before the morning set time. That day, I didn't have lunch plans, and they only had dessert available, so I hurriedly went up the stairs to the second floor. Hmm? No one here? "Excuse me?" After a while, the master came out and greeted me. "Welcome! Are you serving morning set?" "Oh, sorry, it's only until 10:30." (It was almost 11, but maybe it's the last order?) "Oh, I see! I'll come back another time then. This place is so lovely, can I just take some pictures?" "Sure!" (Snapping away) "By the way, you can have alcohol here in the morning, right?" "Yes, you can!... Since you came all this way, would you like to have the morning set?" Such a kind offer! I gladly accepted. They offered to add the morning set for just an extra ¥100 when you order a drink. Unfortunately, I couldn't add it to my alcohol order. - Iced Café Latte ¥380: The coffee and milk layers looked beautiful, and it was so tempting to just drink it without mixing. The aroma was lovely, and it tasted delicious when mixed, with a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. - Morning Set ¥100: The toast was thickly sliced, served with margarine and a small bowl of honey. The salad seemed to vary daily, sometimes with potato salad. It came with Wiener, bacon, cheese, and omelet. The omelet was slightly sweet and delicious. - Hokkaido Kellner ¥380: A refreshing dry wine with a lovely aroma, perfect for the morning. It paired well with cheese, but I think the red wine would have been better with Wiener and bacon. I almost considered getting a refill. I felt happy enjoying a luxurious morning set in the antique atmosphere while listening to baroque music. The speakers at Tan-noi were impressive and cool! **Caution:** This place is recommended for those who can spend time leisurely, as it's run by an elderly couple. It may not be suitable for those in a hurry. They appreciate your understanding if things take time. They may not be able to open on time due to health reasons. They may also not be able to answer the phone when busy. There are plenty of magazines near the register to pass the time, and you can enjoy music on the good speakers while waiting. Both of them are kind and working hard, so please be understanding. When I was having my morning set, groups of girls on school trips or tourists kept coming in, excitedly taking pictures of the dumplings, parfait, and cakes that all looked delicious. "Wow, that looks so good!" They were all having a great time. In the midst of this, three grandpas also came in and sat down, but it seemed like they mistook this place for a soba restaurant. "Oh... we came to the wrong place, haha." It was cute. Next time, I want to try their sweets and lunch menu! It's nice to be able to enjoy Hokkaido wine and sake in the morning. I'd love to try their morning set again! Thank you for the meal!
