"Alicia's Food Log: For the New Year, my family and I had a meal with my daughter who came back to Fukuoka. We were originally considering other restaurants, but they were fully booked. We were told that only counter seats were available here, but they were able to prepare a table for us. First, I forgot to take a picture of the assorted sashimi, which was very fresh and beautiful. The cream cheese dip came with plum and crab miso, allowing us to enjoy different flavors. The main dish, motsunabe (tripe hot pot), had a soy sauce-based soup that was elegant and of high quality. You can choose the size of the tripe, with larger pieces providing a more substantial bite. We chose medium pieces, which were still quite large. The selection of sake was impressive, with no sense of randomness. Overall, we were very satisfied! If I had one wish, it would be for a non-smoking section in the restaurant... Upon leaving the restaurant, we were bothered by the smell of cigarette smoke on our clothes and hair. It's a shame to have such high-quality food only to be tainted by the smell. "

Hot sake and a beautiful motsunabe. Before that, we had a variety of appetizers and were already satisfied. The sashimi was fresh and chewy. The oyster fry at this time of year was also chewy and crispy. Finally, we enjoyed the beautiful motsunabe and were completely satisfied. Ah, delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Night course with all-you-can-drink for 4000 yen, the sashimi is delicious! There is also salad. The chicken wings are tasty! The motsunabe (tripe hot pot) has tender tripe. No complaints. The finishing dish is noodles from the hot pot, but what impressed me more was the dessert at the end, which was a Yukimi Daifuku (ice cream mochi). I was moved by it generationally! I will definitely come back.

I had been curious about the robatayaki restaurant on the hill for a while. I invited my partner and we went to try it out. We ordered a sashimi platter and motsunabe. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and delicious. The motsunabe was also chewy and satisfying. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was great, and most importantly, it was very cost-effective!

I was somehow invited to a drinking party in another department at work. The organizer said that the sashimi and motsunabe (offal hot pot) were delicious. There were 8 of us and we had 2 pots of motsunabe. Before that, there were beautifully colored sashimi and grilled chicken as appetizers, and we started in a friendly atmosphere. The main dish was motsunabe, kind of like Hakata style, with chewy offal and a roof of leeks. When the leeks become soft and sink, it's ready to eat. The fat was delicious, but the vegetables were also good. We finished with egg soup and left feeling full and satisfied. I want to focus on motsunabe for the upcoming year-end party season. I'll definitely visit again somewhere. It was also nice that the company covered half of the cost. That was actually the most satisfying part.

There are few restaurants left in Kashii that I haven't been to yet, so I decided to try Saka-san. I made a reservation for the all-you-can-drink course the day before because I wanted to drink plenty of cold draft beer. There were courses priced at 4,800 yen and in the 5,000 yen range, but I chose the 4,800 yen course. The interior of the restaurant had sunken kotatsu tables and a counter. Since there were three of us, we sat at a sunken kotatsu table, but it was a bit cramped when two people sat side by side. The meal included small dishes, sashimi, salad, deep-fried chicken wings, motsunabe (offal hot pot), champon (noodle dish), and dessert. Everything was reasonably delicious, with the sashimi being fresh and tasty, and the seasoned deep-fried chicken wings were also delicious. The motsunabe was refreshing, and the champon was also tasty. The draft beer was cold, and aside from one order that didn't go through, the service was prompt. I was a bit hesitant about having motsunabe in the heat, but it turned out to be delicious. There was a good variety of dishes, and the prices were relatively reasonable, so for those who don't drink much, ordering a la carte may be a better option than the course menu.

I made a reservation at this place in the Kasai area after my son's tournament, hoping to eat some delicious food. I had been curious about this place for a while and finally visited for the first time. Looking at the menu, the main dish was of course "motsunabe," but there were also other food options that seemed quite satisfying. From those, our family ordered... Caesar salad (580 yen), sashimi assorted fresh fish for two (1200 yen), domestic wagyu beef tendons (1680 yen), charcoal-grilled sand liver on iron plate (580 yen), premium small intestine motsunabe (1200 yen) x 2, handmade thick fried tofu from Itoshima (380 yen), champon noodles (180 yen) x 2. Drinks included draft beer, ginger ale, and more. Everything tasted pretty good, but the best was definitely the motsunabe. The soy sauce broth was great, but the motsu was chewy and really delicious. If my family craves motsunabe again, I'll definitely come back here.

Recently, it has suddenly become cold, hasn't it? On such cold days, I thought about having hot pot, so I went to a popular motsu nabe (tripe hot pot) restaurant in Kashii. It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it seems quite popular with many customers. Since it's a motsu nabe restaurant, there are many meat dishes on the menu. There were also several fish dishes available. Here's what I ordered: - Crab Miso Cheese Cucumber: I wish the crab miso flavor was stronger, but cheese lovers might enjoy it. - Chicken Karaage: Just a regular karaage (Japanese fried chicken). - Gizzard Teppanyaki: I thought the portion was a bit small, but considering the price, it's reasonable. - Motsu Nabe: The tripe was chewy and delicious, but it might be more appreciated by women if the portion was a bit smaller. Dishes and content: Right across from the bus stop at Nishitetsu Kashii on Route 3, we started with a toast with a draft beer. The small dish was a delicious pickled sashimi with just the right amount of acidity. The assorted sashimi platter (for 2-3 people) had amberjack, salmon, flounder, and seared belt fish that were all fresh and delicious. Grilled turban shell had a nice aroma of the sea and savory soy sauce. The salt-grilled Pacific saury was also great, being in season. The tuna salad with plenty of vegetables and tuna was tasty with a generous amount of dressing. Although we thought about ordering motsunabe (tripe hot pot), we were already full. We went to a food festival during the 3-day weekend, but it was too crowded so we couldn't eat much and ended up back in Kashii. We wandered around and found this restaurant along Route 3. They offer motsunabe, robatayaki, sashimi, and more. We ordered motsunabe for 2, sashimi, grilled beef tongue, garlic tempura, and tororo rice. The beer we had was surprisingly delicious. The sashimi platter for 2-3 people was around 1200 yen and included delicious fish like horse mackerel, salmon, and amberjack. The food was well-prepared and exceeded our expectations. The motsunabe was light and easy to eat with firm and tasty offal. The grilled beef tongue was cooked perfectly on the hot plate. The dishes were all well-prepared, and we enjoyed our meal at this unexpected find. They offer affordable all-you-can-drink options with advance reservations, making it suitable for small gatherings. They also have semi-private rooms, making it convenient for families with children. We found a great restaurant near our home.

Introduced by an acquaintance, visited the restaurant... The first impression was that the staff was very energetic! This already earns high points! We ordered a variety of dishes such as sashimi platter, motsu nabe, and beef teppanyaki, and everything was delicious (*´-`) I went there twice and purposely sat at the counter seats... The counter seats are quite spacious, so I highly recommend them for two people... The chairs were made of cut wood, which made them big and comfortable to sit on. I was treated this time, so I don't know the exact prices... (laughs) But without a doubt, the food was delicious! I definitely want to go back again ♡

On the final night of Silver Week, my wife and I visited this restaurant without a reservation and were seated at the counter. We started with beer and soft drinks, along with delicious appetizers like white miso salad and cucumber with fish cake. We ordered the motsunabe (tripe hot pot) which was recommended to us, and it was indeed tasty. We also had a sashimi platter with 7 types of fish, which was beautifully presented and a great value. We tried the deep-fried whole fish heads, which were crispy and flavorful. The grilled chicken gizzards were average. The motsunabe arrived with large cuts of tripe, which we enjoyed with the delicious soy-based soup. We added homemade tofu, which was firm and paired well with the soup. We finished with champon noodles and a flavorful rice porridge. The service was friendly, and we left satisfied. We would love to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal.

I always wanted to go to Kaizuka for Hakata motsunabe and robatayaki, but never had the chance. They had a Christmas market in front of Nishitetsu Kaizuka Station and were selling motsunabe with a soy sauce cup for only 500 yen, which was a great deal. The motsu was plentiful and delicious, keeping me warm on a cold day. I would love to visit the restaurant next time to enjoy it at a leisurely pace.
