I visited Ukesu, a traditional sushi restaurant in Shingucho, Kasuya District. They offer a delicious katsudon made with pork from Itoshima and premium rice from Akita prefecture. The katsu is just the right thickness, with a crispy texture and juicy flavor. The rice is cooked perfectly, and the egg is cooked to perfection. The miso soup with fish is also well-balanced. Even though the price has increased to 1100 yen, the satisfaction level remains high. Whenever I crave a tasty katsudon, I always come to Ukesu.

In a residential area in Shingucho, Kasuya District, Fukuoka Prefecture, there was a shop called "Ikesu-Kappo-Utasachi." When I entered, there were table seats in front of the screen, a counter on the left, the kitchen in the back, and several private rooms with tables in the back right. In between the private rooms and the table seats, there was a small fish tank with some fish swimming around. When I mentioned that I was dining alone, the proprietress kindly led me to a table seat. I ordered the "Jyo Nigiri Lunch (2000 yen)" from the lunch menu. The menu was not allowed to be photographed, but the lunch prices ranged from around 1000 yen to around 3000 yen. The quality of the restaurant and the dishes seemed to be worth the price, if not a good deal. The proprietress seemed a bit suspicious of me, wondering if I was from a TV show or something. She seemed uneasy about online reviews, so I assured her that I was just a hobbyist exploring sushi lunches. The food arrived, starting with a small appetizer followed by the main nigiri sushi. Unfortunately, I made a terrible mistake - I forgot to take photos of the dishes. The nigiri included striped jack, flounder fin, tuna, sea bream, conger eel, sea urchin, scallop, shrimp, yellowtail belly, egg, and one cucumber roll, accompanied by a large bowl of miso soup. I was so hungry that I quickly started eating and only realized my mistake when I was about to eat the sea urchin. I felt embarrassed for not capturing the presentation of the dishes. The sushi was delicious, with high-quality fish and rice. The restaurant felt more like a traditional Japanese restaurant than just a sushi place. The proprietress was kind, but she still seemed to be wary of me. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would recommend this place.

We went out for dinner for the first time in a while with my parents, two children, and my husband, a total of six people. We were suddenly taken to a room with a pond in a restaurant located in a residential area. We had requested a 3000 yen course when we made a reservation, but all the dishes came out at once as soon as we sat down. The tempura was the most surprising, as it seemed cold as if it had been fried a while ago. This was the first time I experienced such a restaurant. Despite the high ratings, I was surprised. I recommend that those who plan to go should not decide on the menu when making a reservation.

I had been curious for a while, but finally visited. Before entering the room, there was a small pond - it got me excited! Perhaps because it was late or due to the season, we were the only customers. The food was just as I had heard, unquestionably delicious. Sake goes well with it. I heard they used to have a shop in Nakasu. They also offer sushi delivery. I would like to visit again for special occasions, such as celebrations. I found a great restaurant. Today, I visited a store in Shingucho, Kasuya District, Fukuoka Prefecture to learn about the water purifier "Harmony Water." This store, called "Ikesu-Kappo-Utako," has a history of over 40 years and features a live fish tank. The compact Harmony Water device caught my attention. The store doesn't have any unpleasant odors, even with the live fish tank. The menu includes dishes like sashimi, sushi, and pork cutlet rice bowl. We ordered sushi lunch and pork cutlet rice bowl. The food was decent, with potential for improvement. The Harmony Water is said to remove fishy odors when fish is soaked in it, but it wasn't clear with today's fish. The store's overall smell elimination impressed me. Lastly, I took a commemorative photo with the beautiful female owner, who is a reader of my books. It's not too far from Fukuoka, so I hope to visit again in the future.

I ordered a delivery from a sushi restaurant because I wanted something nice to serve when I invited someone over. The sushi was delicious, and it had a high-quality feel to it. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was also tasty. We ordered a tempura set for 3000 yen, which had a good amount of food and filled up three of us, leaving some leftovers. Two people delivered the food to our house. If I ever have guests over again, I will definitely choose Utagoyasan's sushi for delivery.

The other day, I went to a high school reunion in Fukuoka. The place was a 5-minute walk from Nishitetsu Shingu Station. When I arrived at the restaurant, I enjoyed a nostalgic reunion with old friends while listening to the sound of flowing water. Some friends came by car, and there seems to be parking space for 15 cars. The meal was a set meal for 3240 yen. Friends who got married early and brought their children ordered a kids' lunch. The adult dishes, such as sashimi and tempura, used fresh local ingredients, and I was surprised by how delicious they were. It seems they are particular about the water they use. The kids' lunch was made in easy-to-eat sizes, and the children seemed happy eating them. The room had tatami mats and a table, creating a relaxing atmosphere where both elderly and children could feel comfortable. Lunch is served from 11:00 to 14:00 starting from 1000 yen, and kids' lunch requires advance reservation. Besides reunions, it seems like a place that would be appreciated for family gatherings as well. Thanks to reuniting with old friends and the delicious food, I was able to have a happy time.

When I entered the restaurant, I saw a counter and private tatami rooms. The dining table in the traditional Japanese setting had a very calming atmosphere. I reserved this place because I wanted to eat delicious sashimi. They had a wide variety of fresh fish and shellfish. The appetizers were beautifully presented and appetizing! And then, the main dishes - flatfish sashimi, grilled turban shell, chef's choice sushi...! I was able to enjoy plenty of seafood! Every dish was fresh and delicious. I will definitely bring my parents next time!

I went back to Fukuoka to visit my parents and had a meal with them at a traditional and upscale restaurant called "Utasuki." We had the "Isono Shizuku" mini kaiseki course for 3,240 yen, which included 9 dishes. The colorful chirashi sushi, fresh sashimi, tempura, and delicious chawanmushi with mitsuba and dashi were all very tasty, and we were all satisfied with the meal. The portions were just right for my parents, but a bit small for me. We had to finish quickly this time because we had plans in the afternoon, but normally the dishes are served one by one. The carefully crafted kaiseki meal, served in a lovely private room, allowed us to enjoy a rare family gathering. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and we left saying "we'll be back." Next time, I'd like to come in the evening and enjoy some local sake in porcelain cups.

I went to Fukuoka with my friend for a reunion after 15 years, and we were taken to a high-class restaurant by my friend. Although the place seemed a bit intimidating with its luxurious atmosphere, it was a special occasion to catch up with an old friend after so long, so it was okay to indulge a little. My friend had made a reservation for us, so we had a relaxing time in a private room, reminiscing about old memories. I heard that Arashi's Aiba-kun had also been here. Unfortunately, we didn't get the same room, but we enjoyed the most popular and filling special set meal. It cost 1620 yen, but the taste and portion were very satisfying. It included boiled fish head (aradaki), sashimi (amberjack, sea bream, salmon), tempura (shrimp, vegetables), and chawanmushi. Each dish had a unique taste that I rarely experience in Tokyo, and it was worth coming here with an empty stomach. The service was also polite, and you could feel the hospitality of treating each guest as a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. I would like to bring my family next time, but it might be difficult to come all the way to Kyushu.

Important business entertainment. The other party wanted a private space in Higashi Ward. The name is UtaKou, but I had never been there before, so I decided to check it out. The atmosphere inside the restaurant gave me an impression of traditional Japanese style, for better or for worse. The proprietress served us. Our requests were as follows: ① We want to use it for business entertainment. ② We want a completely private room. ③ Can you prepare a luxurious spiny lobster? ④ We are a group of 4, can you provide transportation? ① Using it for business entertainment was okay (as expected). The room had tatami mats, chairs, and tables, which was a bit strange, but convenient for us in suits. ② Closing the sliding doors made it a completely private room, so no problem there. ③ Spiny lobster is not usually on the menu, but they promised to secure some for us. That was a pleasant surprise. ④ Transportation is available for groups of 10 or more, so we decided to use a taxi service instead. Since we had communicated our needs in advance, the dinner went smoothly. They prepared a stunning spiny lobster as requested. The large spiny lobster had firm and sweet meat. Delicious! They even made miso soup with the remaining parts. The broth was rich and the taste of spiny lobster lingered in our mouths. Normally, spiny lobsters' antennae may be broken, but this one still had its antennae intact, which showed that the transportation was done perfectly. We enjoyed our meal along with some drinks. It was a great dining experience. It would have been even better if the staff had a bit more knowledge about the ingredients, but their service was polite, so it was acceptable. The other party was also satisfied (they were quite drunk). Very impressed. I heard they also serve lunch, so I would like to come back with my family next time.

I visited the famous restaurant Unkou in Fukuoka with my family and relatives for a memorial service. The restaurant was crowded, indicating its popularity. The use of fresh fish from a fish tank was evident. We had a private room, which allowed us to focus on our meal and conversation. We ordered the "Matsukaze" course for 4,320 yen, which included a variety of dishes such as steamed egg custard and soup, in addition to grilled fish, sashimi, and sushi. Every dish was delicious. The hostess and the staff were attentive and provided great service. I wish I could visit again, but Fukuoka is quite far from where I live.

I visited my cousin's house and the sushi that came out was incredibly delicious, so I wanted to write about it. It was a premium nigiri sushi assortment as shown in the photo. When I exclaimed, "Wow, looks delicious!" my aunt said, "It's even higher quality than premium, it's an assortment of top-notch nigiri sushi!" Uni and shrimp were so fresh! The flavors were rich and melted in my mouth! The tuna was delicious in Tokyo, but Fukuoka's delivery sushi is on a whole other level... I was impressed. According to my aunt, the premium nigiri has boiled shrimp, but they used live Kuruma shrimp to make it even more top-notch. It seems that they often use UtaSachi for delivery. When you order once, you get a chawanmushi service coupon, which is nice. How come the chawanmushi from the restaurant has such a gentle and delicious broth? After eating the fatty sushi, the lettuce wraps and tekka maki were a nice break. Looking at the reviews on Tabelog, the restaurant itself looks lovely too. It's no wonder it's been featured on TV with such delicious food.
