I visited a hot spring that I had been curious about based on information from MyRebi. Upon arrival at 9:55 am, I saw a sign saying that the business was closed for the day. I was a bit worried, but then I saw an elderly man who seemed to be the owner removing the sign and opening for business at 10 am. I paid the entrance fee, enjoyed a relaxing bath in the private hot spring, and then ordered a kama-meshi meal in advance. The water was slightly cloudy and made my skin smooth. The temperature was perfect, and I felt completely relaxed. The meal was kama-meshi only, and it was delicious. My wife only ate half, but I managed to finish 1.5 servings and felt satisfied. Overall, it was a great experience.

The quaintness is top-notch. The menu only offers kama-meshi, but it's delicious. The natural hot spring water is also amazing. However, it may be more for enthusiasts.

I always visit Inunaki Onsen♨️(^ω^) which is the only natural hot spring in Osaka(^ω^) I always order the kettle rice before entering the hot spring(^ω^) It seems to take about 30 minutes to cook(^ω^) The hot water is smooth and fragrant with a faint hot spring scent, leaving the skin feeling smooth and silky after bathing(^ω^) The kettle rice enjoyed after bathing looks delicious with crispy rice(^ω^) It came out about 45 minutes later, so it seems to have been ready, and it's just the right amount(^ω^) The ingredients are simple but delicious(^ω^) Inunakiyama Yumoto Onsen-so 072-459-7015 Osaka Prefecture Izumisano City Oki 2234 https://tabelog.com/osaka/A2705/A270503/27049146/

This is a shop located on the second floor of "Yamanoyu," a day trip bathing facility managed by Inunakiyama Onsen and Yumoto Onsen Resort. It's more like a resting space where visitors to the public bath can have a meal and take a break. I visited here to enjoy a quick soak in the public hot spring. As the name suggests, it seems to be the source of the hot springs for the nearby facilities. The parking space in front of the building is free. After climbing a few steps and entering the building, I saw a lady at the top of the stairs on the left side. She seemed to be in charge of the dining area and baths. When I paid for the bath, she asked if I wanted a meal too, so I decided to have a meal after the bath. The menu offered here is "kamameshi" (rice cooked in an iron pot) with miso soup, drink, and ice cream. I chose ginger ale from the self-service drinks section. The kamameshi set came with a tea bowl, pickles, and a solid fuel for heating. The rice was a bit firm, but the taste was good, especially the crispy rice on the bottom. After finishing the meal, I noticed that many customers were napping on the tatami mats. It seems that you can take multiple baths here, so customers don't seem to leave quickly. It was a pleasant experience chatting with the lady who manages the dining area and front desk. The hot spring was also very nice. I would love to visit again in the future.

I had kama-meshi (kettle rice) at Yamanoyu in the mountains of Izumisano, Osaka. After soaking in the sodium-hydrogen carbonate spring, which makes your skin feel smooth and slippery, I enjoyed this local specialty. The kama-meshi is very simple, as shown in the photo. Water and tea are self-service. The taste is simple and not particularly outstanding, but somehow eating it while looking at the trees in the mountains makes it more delicious. The source temperature of the spring is low at 16 degrees, so it is heated. Today, the water was quite hot. There is a faint smell of sulfur. You can relax your body at this dining place. After resting, you can soak in the hot spring again. I am grateful for the relaxing hot spring and kama-meshi.
