I heard that the popular yakiniku restaurant Anbei in Nishikujo has opened in Ura Tennoji, so I decided to visit right away! They open at 11:30 on weekends and holidays, so you can enjoy day drinking, which is great. The exterior has a calm, traditional Japanese house style, with counter seats and two table seats at the back. They offer a wide range of meats, from sashimi-style dishes to hormone, all sourced from the same place as the main branch in Nishikujo. I asked for their recommended special tongue and it was amazing! You have to try it! It was tender with a good bite, so delicious. The harami was tender and juicy, and the hormone was fresh and tasty. The salted liver, when lightly seared, doubles in flavor, so I recommend eating it this way! I used to always go to Heiwa for yakiniku in Tennoji, but now I will definitely be coming here. They have individual roasters at the counter seats, so you can easily enjoy yakiniku alone. The manager and staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely be coming back again. The dishes I had that day were raw intestine for 770 yen, salted liver for 880 yen, special tongue for 1,980 yen, harami for 1,980 yen, hormone assortment for 1,100 yen, upper mino for 990 yen, and techan for 700 yen.

I used it for a birthday meal and it was a very enjoyable experience with friendly staff. We ordered a platter of horumon and a platter of meat, but the dishes that stood out as particularly delicious were the cold noodles, meat dipping, and belly (kalbi)! I highly recommend trying them if you visit!

During the three-day weekend, the restaurant we wanted to go to was unexpectedly closed, so we decided to try this place recommended by someone. It is located in Ura-Tennoji. They start serving dinner from 4 pm, and we were able to make a last-minute reservation online, which was convenient. We sat at the counter, and it wasn't too cramped. The meat was juicy and tender, very delicious. The assorted kimchi and white rice were also very tasty. The service was overly attentive for my liking, as they came to check on us multiple times, talked to us, and passed by behind us frequently. However, my family enjoyed the good service. The chu-hai was a bit weak in flavor. We had 6 drinks between the two of us, and the bill came out to be just under 14,000 yen (slightly discounted due to online reservation), which was a bit higher than what we usually spend at other places, but the food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and we had a good experience. ★ Payment with PayPay available

I sneaked in right when the store opened at 4:00 pm. How about trying the harami (skirt steak)? It's a bit pricier than regular harami, but it has a beautiful marbling, is tender, and has a sweet taste. The beef belly has a generous portion and is reasonably priced, with careful cuts. Overall, there are no disappointments, it's a great restaurant. Come on over!

Urahara? Oku Shibuya? Ura Yokohama? No, no, Osaka's hidden gem is Ura Tennoji (near Hankai Shotengai) If you want to eat delicious Harami, Ura Tennoji is the place to go. Not only is the quality of the meat excellent, but the atmosphere, hospitality, and drinks are also top-notch. Ura Tennoji is a charming neighborhood that maintains its atmosphere without spoiling it. Dining alone for yakiniku is not frowned upon here, which I find very appreciative. In the midst of the vibrant Tennoji, dining alone for yakiniku in Ura Tennoji may just be fitting for this era.

Arrived at Shin-Osaka and feeling a bit peckish, so I went. The main store in Nishikujo was full both times I tried to go. After waiting for an hour and a half, they found me a seat since there was time until the reservation customers arrived. I had a bottle of beer and a mixed meat platter with sauce. It was quite a generous portion and I got to try various cuts of meat. The quality of the meat was definitely top-notch. It was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The food is incredibly delicious, cheap, and the interior is beautiful, with friendly service. I was surprised. This is my favorite yakiniku restaurant. The thick-cut tongue and harami were amazingly delicious, but honestly, everything I ate was delicious. The sour drink with an ice pop stuck in it, which I took a picture of, is interesting and tasty, so I highly recommend trying it. I will definitely come back every time I'm on a business trip!

The one-person yakiniku boom is currently ongoing and it seems like it will continue for a while. The bar for delicious yakiniku is quite high, but in the hidden area of Tennoji, "Anbei" serves delicious yakiniku. I have a tendency to keep eating the same thing if it's delicious, and the frequency of eating it determines how delicious it is (I won't reveal what I ate). The highest record was eating the same thing seven times, and I understand that I may be a bit crazy. I want to keep eating delicious food, even if it's the same thing, and that's why I work hard day and night. I can't wait to go back for more.

The shop is compact but very clean. I tried special tongue, prime tongue, and harami, but they were thin and small for the price, so I wasn't really impressed with the taste. I thought it was better to eat the tongue in two pieces each. I liked the taste of the kimchi.

I visited Yasubei in Ura-Tennoji for the first time. The stylish exterior of the shop got me excited as I entered. However, I was taken aback by the tiny counter right inside, and couldn't really get a feel for the rest of the atmosphere in the shop. I was surprised by how small the special tongue was. Even for a bite-sized portion, it felt too small. I wish there was a bit more substance to it. The harami and kimchi were delicious though.

You can grill your own meat at each individual grill, without worrying about anything, and eat it just the way you like. The restaurant is clean, and the smoke is sucked into the hole in the front, so you don't have to worry about the smell. The portion size is just right, and they cut the meat for you each time you order, so you can enjoy delicious meat. It seems like it will be difficult to make a reservation in the future, so it's a restaurant that I want to visit a lot now.

There is a famous yakiniku restaurant from Nishikujo that has opened in Tennoji. It may have surpassed Yakiniku Heiwa, which was always popular in Tennoji. I go there often. I recommend the salted liver (880 yen), raw senmai (770 yen), special tongue (1980 yen), harami (1980 yen), assorted hormones (1100 yen), upper mino (990 yen), and teppanyaki (700 yen). It's really recommended!

On the third day of the new year, around 12:30, two people made a reservation and entered the restaurant. It was almost full, indicating its popularity. We ordered: special tongue x2, harami x2, beef belly x2, cold noodles, seared yukhoe, kimchi assortment, and soft drinks, totaling just under 14,000 yen for two. The lunch and dinner prices are the same, so it may be a bit pricey for lunch. Overall, the cost performance was good and we were very satisfied with the meal. The special tongue had a crispy texture and was very easy to eat, truly impressive. The harami was not too fatty and the quality of the meat was evident. The beef belly, recommended for the day, was surprisingly delicious with a good balance of lean and fatty meat. It was only 880 yen, which was unbelievably tasty. The cold noodles were refreshing and paired well with the grilled meat. Although there was a delay in serving, it arrived promptly, which we appreciated. The portion size seemed smaller than usual, but it was just right. The radish kimchi was unexpectedly delicious, making me regret not getting seconds. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, and being less than a year old, it was clean and did not smell of smoke. It's a perfect spot for casual yakiniku dining with friends or a date. The service was excellent, with the staff's smiles and attentiveness making our experience enjoyable. We had a great time and would love to visit again.

I booked this restaurant because it was close to my hotel and I found it on a website. It was a small restaurant and a bit hard to find when walking from the hotel, but we managed to get there. The table we were seated at was a small two-seater next to the cooking area facing the wall. Both my niece and I are slim, so it was okay, but it felt cramped with the small stove and limited space for the meat. Despite having a reservation for 6:30 or 7:00, some meats were already sold out, and others had limited quantities, maybe because it was New Year's. The meat was delicious, but not being able to order more for a second round was disappointing. I think there are other delicious restaurants out there, so I probably won't be going back here next time. It's better to eat what you like instead of compromising and having to eat different meat.

When you walk along the alley on the north side of Tennoji Station, you'll find stylishly renovated traditional Japanese-style shops popping up! Among them, one shop stands out! The friendly female staff and kind male staff create a sense of security! The beef tongue, harami, and hormone platter were all delicious! The kimchi platter was satisfyingly generous in portion! I particularly loved the "radish kimchi"! It was a fantastic restaurant experience! Thank you for the meal!

Ura Tennoji Yasubei, Tennoji Osaka Model is yellow again... I'm really fed up with this whole situation with the coronavirus. Continuing from yesterday, I'm posting again today ✌️ I visited the new store Ura Tennoji Yasubei, which is revered by the yakiniku restaurant. Just look at this beautiful meat, it speaks to you saying it's delicious! I'm the type who likes to eat slowly, but it was so delicious that everyone kept eating more and more! How many times did I say there's not enough? I love beautifully arranged meat on plates, but I also love yakiniku served like this. Unlike Nishikujo, this place has no sense of being crowded, and the interior is shiny ✨ The toilet had lively music playing, which made me chuckle a bit. They open from lunchtime on weekends, so you can enjoy day drinking here. If you're in Tennoji, this place is a must ❤️ #OsakaYakiniku #Tennoji #TennojiGourmet #SaltedTongue #Yakiniku #InstaGourmetAward2022 #MeatTerror #Meatpedia #Nurse #OsakaGourmet #KansaiGourmet #MeatLover #WantToConnectWithMeatLovers #WantToConnectWithYakinikuLovers #SexyMeatCommittee #PhotoGenicMeat #TennojiYakiniku #MeatpediaYukke #MeatpediaLiver #Meatstagram #MeatLovingGirls #KansaiYakiniku #Yasubei #UraTennoji #UraTennojiYasubei #DayDrinking #DayDrinkingOsaka #TennojiDinner

This is a very popular yakiniku restaurant in Nishi Kujo! It's called "Yasubei," and it's so beloved by meat lovers that someone even claimed it's the best yakiniku restaurant in Osaka. And guess what? They've opened a branch in Tennoji now! So, I visited for some yakiniku treats. I love the local feel of the Nishi Kujo branch, but the one in Tennoji has a different vibe - it's stylish and perfect for a quick yakiniku fix. Plus, they're open all day from 4 PM on weekdays and from 11:30 AM on weekends and holidays, which is super convenient. I love places that offer all-day service!
I visited on a random holiday, and the restaurant was quite busy with yakiniku enthusiasts. The counter has 8 seats and there are 2 tables, so it's not a big place. It might be a good idea to make a reservation on weekend evenings. Now, onto the order:
- Rosu (Sirloin) 1700 yen
- Bara (Kalbi) 1200 yen
- Harami 1800 yen
- Tokutan (Special Tongue) 1800 yen
- Chateaubriand 3300 yen
- Misuji 1600 yen
- Kamimino (Upper Mino) 900 yen
- Aburi Yukke (Seared Yukke) 1100 yen
- Kimchi Assortment 700 yen
- Rice (Small) 200 yen
- Various drinks
The kimchi assortment was great, with cucumber, yam, and radish kimchi. The Rosu was tender and delicious, while the Bara (Kalbi) was surprisingly flavorful for its price. The Harami was a favorite, with a nice meaty texture and rich flavor. The Tokutan had a good balance of tenderness and flavor. The Misuji was tender and had just the right amount of marbling. The Chateaubriand was a bit thin but still worth it for the price. The Aburi Yukke was a tasty treat, especially when mixed with egg. The Kamimino was a bit tough once cooked, but still enjoyable. The wine selection was affordable and delicious, with no unnecessary sweetness or acidity.
Overall, the yakiniku experience at Yasubei in Tennoji was just as satisfying as the one in Nishi Kujo, with the same quality of meat and preparation. I didn't plan on having yakiniku that day, but I'm glad I did. The all-day service is really convenient, and I can't wait to visit again! Thank you, Yasubei!

Today I went to that newly opened Yasubei-san in the neighborhood for a light meal. There were four customers ahead of us on the weekend. It's a bit tucked away so maybe it's not well known yet?
- Beef tongue 1540 yen
- Sirloin 1870 yen
- Harami (skirt steak) 1980 yen
- Belly 1320 yen
- Tetchan (grilled beef tongue) 770 yen x 2
- Chisha (beef intestine)
- Bean sprout namul
- Cold noodles
The tongue had a good texture, firm yet tender. The meat was all delicious as expected. However, the cold noodles were 880 yen!? Well, I have some thoughts on that, but the meat was delicious. Thank you for the meal! (•́✧•̀)

I made a reservation and visited. Ura Tennoji was lively, but with only 2 customers before us at 6 pm on a weekday. During our one-hour stay, 3 more people arrived. I ordered the special tan (tongue), which was safely delicious. I had high expectations for the harami (skirt steak), but it turned out to be delicious in a safe way. The assorted kimchi, radish kimchi, and yam were all delicious. The staff was very kind and friendly. They seemed to ask a lot of questions, even though we had already ordered drinks. I wonder if the main store is like this too... Thank you for the meal! (^^)

JR Tennoji's north side, "Yakiniku Ura Tennoji Yasubei". This is a branch of the restaurant selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in Nishikujo. Around here, it's called Ura Tennoji. Next to it, there are some new and promising shops lined up. The restaurant has a counter with 6 seats and 2 tables for 4 people. Since it's a new shop, it's clean. There is a luggage case at the foot. ★Draft beer (small) incl. tax 440 yen ★Special tongue 1760 yen ★Harami 1760 yen ★Tetchan 770 yen ★Rice (medium) 270 yen Total 5000 yen The beer is Asahi's Marueff. It feels lighter than Super Dry. It's well chilled and delicious~(^-^) The special tongue is thick but easy to chew, super tasty! Truly special tongue. I want to have more of this! I wonder how different it is from upper tongue and lower tongue? The group of 3 men who arrived later were comparing them. The harami is tender and full of flavor. It goes well with the sweetness of the miso sauce and makes you want to eat more rice~♪ The tetchan was just okay. I should have chosen the marbled beef instead. The service was quick, and the friendly waitress was great. I went early, so I was able to relax. Beer and yakiniku from early hours are the best! The smoke was slightly bothersome, but still within acceptable limits. The toilet was quite small but clean (^-^)
