The tuna specialty restaurant "Maguro Enji" at Itami Airport is a must-visit for tuna lovers. I ordered the "Maguro Sanmai Don" which is a luxurious assortment of tuna including akami, akami zuke, aburi, chu-toro, and maguro suki. The flavors were rich and the quality was excellent for the price of 2380 yen. Definitely a recommended spot at the airport for a delicious tuna meal.

At the Kuromon Maguro Enji Itami Airport store, you can enjoy delicious seafood bowls. I chose the special selection bowl made with fresh tuna. The rice portion is small, but you get to enjoy various types of tuna (akami, chutoro), ikura, negitoro, salmon, and crab meat. It's a great deal for a seafood bowl.

Seafood bowl restaurant located in the restaurant area on the 3rd floor of Osaka Airport. Layout includes 11 counter seats, 6 tables for 4 people, and 1 table for 2 people. Visited on a weekday after 4 pm and it was almost empty.
- Medium fatty tuna bowl: 9 pieces of medium fatty tuna with a slightly mild flavor but good texture. The vinegar rice was slightly strong in vinegar taste. The speed of service was fast, suitable for a quick meal.
- The service was not very polite and seemed a bit careless. They offer several types of Kansai region alcohol, which might be nice for travelers visiting Kansai.
Overall, it was a decent experience.

I went back to my parents' house and decided to fly back to Tokyo from Itami Airport instead of taking the Shinkansen as usual. I didn't have much time before my flight, so I looked for a place to eat and ended up at "Maguro no Enji," where there was a short line. It's a restaurant specializing in tuna from the Kuromon Market in Kansai. I ordered the Seafood Yukke Don for 1,420 yen. The portion was decent, with diced tuna, octopus, and salmon on top of rice. The yukke sauce was delicious and not too strong, making it an ideal dish. The seafood didn't have any fishy smell and was very fresh. I would definitely like to go back again!

It may be a bit on the pricier side, but this restaurant serves delicious seafood bowls with a focus on tuna. You can request a small or half portion of rice at no extra cost. It seems like you can also get an extra-large portion for an additional fee. If you have some money to spare, adding extra toppings would be nice.

It was a quick business trip to Kansai, so I decided to stop by "Maguro no Enji" inside Itami Airport! I love this place because you can enjoy delicious seafood quickly. I ordered the same thing as last time:
- Special selection bowl for ¥2,640
Comes with a small side dish and miso soup. It was served in about 5 minutes, very fast! They have raised the price by just 40 yen since last time, but they are trying their best! However, they have reduced the amount of sea urchin, and the ikura is smaller, and there is less negitoro. As a result, it slightly missed my definition of a great seafood bowl [where you can't see the vinegared rice under the toppings]. I realized that no matter how much effort a company puts in, the impact often falls on the consumer. But I still want to visit this place again! Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I visited Itami Airport, and it's my first time since the pandemic. Coming back from overseas or a business trip filled with heavy eating and drinking, I used to always go for a light seafood meal, which was a classic choice. It's nice to have those days back and it feels nostalgic. For my first meal back, I decided to keep it simple with a tuna bowl and cold sake. The fatty tuna was delicious and the sake that followed was exceptional. The price was reasonable and I left satisfied. It's great to be able to enjoy traveling again.

I decided to keep it simple and have my first meal back in Osaka at Itami Airport. I ordered the Maguro (tuna) bowl with additional Chutoro (medium fatty tuna) on top. The total including tax was 2530 yen. I thought about ordering the recommended Maguro three-way bowl for 2640 yen, but decided to add Chutoro separately to save money. However, I couldn't taste the tuna very well, maybe it's just me. The Chutoro was fatty and delicious. Thank you for the meal! #FirstMealInOsaka #OsakaFood #ToyonakaFood #ItamiAirportFood #ItamiAirportRestaurantArea #ItamiAirportLooksAmazingNow #MaguroEnTime

Visited alone for the first time. Sat at the counter seat. Ordered a crab and salmon roe with whitebait bowl and a draft beer. The bowl looked a bit smaller in person compared to the impressive photo, but turned out to be just the right amount when eaten. (Maybe it's just my greedy self's opinion, sorry.) Soy sauce was served on the side with the bowl, and miso soup was included as well. The miso soup tasted like instant soup. Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or electronic money. *PayPay was not accepted. This time, paid with WAON, totaling 2,233 yen. Thank you for the meal!

Visited during the middle of the week at 7:00 PM. Waited in line for about 10 minutes to get in. Ordered the Negitoro Tekka Don for 1375 yen, a draft beer for 638 yen, and a sake called Tamano Hikari for 693 yen. This was my second visit and the food was just as good as last time. It's a bit pricey due to being at the airport, but overall satisfied. Would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

I ordered the tuna and salmon bowl from the lunch set menu for 1,595 yen. The service was quite fast, as expected at the airport. The presentation looked delicious! I tried the tuna first, but it tasted a bit bland and watery, lacking the rich texture of good quality fish. It was probably a cheaper cut like skipjack or maybe yellowtail. The salmon, on the other hand, had a good amount of fat and a great flavor that lingered in my mouth. The atmosphere of the restaurant gave off a vibe of a place that serves delicious fish, and although the prices were not cheap, I would have preferred if they used bluefin tuna or another higher quality option.

First visit, arrived early at Itami Airport and wanted to grab a quick bite. I considered Diamond Curry and Katsukura (tonkatsu) but decided to try this restaurant instead. Established in 1927 and originating from Kuromon Market, I ordered the Tuna Trio Bowl with lean tuna, medium fatty tuna, marinated tuna, seared tuna, and minced tuna on top of rice, opting for a large portion as recommended in reviews. Priced at 2,728 yen, the dish arrived promptly. It was not bad, but I finished it quickly and felt somewhat unsatisfied. Overall, not a bad choice when craving tuna and short on time.

I had a tuna and salmon rice bowl. There was water pooled on the tray, which bothered me. The salmon was fatty and sweet, very delicious. The miso soup and tea were piping hot, almost too hot. The male cashier had sharp eyes and handed me the receipt in a rude manner, leaving a negative impression. It was nice that they had a late last order time, especially when many other restaurants were already closed. The service was fast and efficient.

I visited a shop at the airport wanting to eat fish. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they served authentic tuna, and I was very satisfied! The thick slices were full of flavor, and I was amazed that I could enjoy such high-quality tuna so easily. I will definitely visit again when I want to eat fish.

I visited "Maguro no Enji Itami Airport Store" on this day. I arrived at around 1:30 PM and there were many customers already inside and waiting outside. I was seated at the counter, looked at the menu, and ordered the "Seafood Nebarotoro Donburi" and a bottled beer. I tried the Asahi Marueff beer for the first time and I personally liked it more than Super Dry. While enjoying the Marueff beer, the nebarotoro donburi was served. I hesitated to mix the beautifully arranged dish, but I mixed it well and enjoyed it. Since there was pickled ginger, I didn't put soy sauce on it, which turned out to be the right decision. I finished the meal deliciously until the end, along with the beer. ☺️

I was amazed at how delicious the food was at this price. Even though it's located in the airport, the quality was surprisingly good. I heard that if you spend over 3000 yen, you get one hour of free parking, so I definitely want to come back just for the food.

Located on the 3rd floor of the departure lobby of Itami Airport Building. I decided to dine here after enjoying Enji-san's delicious tuna at another branch. It was a weekday evening, so there was only one other customer. In general, the 3rd floor is not very crowded.
- Honmaguro Sanmai Don (Tuna Bowl) for 2,640 yen (tax included): The akami, chutoro, akami-zuke, aburi, and negitoro were all delicious and melted in the mouth. It was a generous serving of various cuts of tuna. It would have been even better if the rice was sushi rice.
My companion had the Unagi Don for 1,980 yen. It was a shame that the Anago Don was sold out. I learned that in English, "honmaguro" is called bluefin tuna. It's interesting how "hon" means black in Japanese but it's not black at all. By the way, Kihada tuna is called yellowfin tuna in English. In overseas sushi restaurants, everything is just called "tuna," even though they taste completely different.

The flight was delayed due to bad weather, so I arrived at the airport around noon and decided to grab a quick bite at this restaurant. I was drawn to the glossy tuna in the photo menu, so I ordered the tuna bowl for 1,650 yen (excluding tax). When the bowl arrived in a few minutes, it looked quite different from the photo... Also, the bowl was made of plastic, so it lacked texture and felt more like a takeout menu item. However, the taste was average and the service was quick, which is convenient when you're pressed for time at the airport.

I entered the restaurant at 3:10 PM on a regular day and left with no guests at 3:20 PM. There were 3 people inside. I had the upper-grade tuna bowl with miso soup for 1815 yen. It was delicious, with a rich sweetness and umami similar to medium fatty tuna. I also appreciated the quick service. I hope to be able to enjoy another meal here someday. Thank you for the meal.

I saw off my eldest daughter at Itami Airport with a Negitoro Tekkadon with extra salmon. She chose a Tekkadon with extra salmon instead of just having onigiri. I opted for a bowl with Negitoro, yellowfin tuna, and shirasu, topped with extra salmon. The sashimi was thinner and less fresh than at the market, but still delicious. After filling our stomachs, she safely took off. Thank you for the meal.

Before heading to Haneda, have a meal here first. The tuna and salmon bowl costs 1,595 yen. The tuna and salmon are decent. The amount of rice is moderate, so the cost performance may not be that great. Well, it's not a problem if there's plenty of rice. If you're going to eat anyway, should you try the "special selection bowl" or the "tuna feast bowl" that are labeled as "using real tuna" here? These menus cost over 2,000 yen, but the quality of the ingredients may make you more satisfied.
