It's been quite a while since my last visit. This place is open until around 3 am, if I remember correctly. Even though it's been a while, I ended up visiting around 1 am. There was only one group of customers before us, and a group of three came in later. We had firefly squid marinated in oil, sardine with plum and shiso tempura, grilled eel with salt, and sushi with yellowtail, gizzard shad, and negitoro roll. The taste of all the dishes was quite good, better than chain izakayas or conveyor belt sushi places. However, I remember it used to be around 3000 yen per person and felt very cheap, but now it's over 5000 yen, so it doesn't feel as great of a deal. The sushi is 300 yen per piece, which seems cheap, but they are quite small. Still, considering there are not many places open past midnight, except for maybe in Kita-Shinchi, it's a good value compared to there. I think I'll continue to find this place useful in the future.

I made a reservation and visited at night. I sat at the counter. The sushi ingredients were all fresh and the rice was well-made, resulting in delicious sushi. The vegetable tempura and conger eel were also carefully prepared. They had a good selection of Kansai-centered sake, which paired well with the dishes and everything was delicious.

My spouse and I visited this place, which holds memories of our first visit before we started dating. It's also close to my workplace, so I often come here with my colleagues, haha. We started with eggplant simmered in dashi, followed by octopus stew, tuna sashimi, fried taro, and enjoyed some drinks. I can't remember the name of the sake we had, but it was good! The selection of sake changes frequently, making each visit enjoyable. We indulged in the 300 yen sushi, including recommended items like houbou, bonito, and swordfish, which were all delicious. We also enjoyed some other favorites. With all the food and drinks we had, the satisfaction level for just 5000 yen per person was incredibly high! Highly recommended!

It's easy to overlook this place as it's tucked away in a narrow alley just off the main street. Despite appearing a bit old, it's actually stylish and casual, making it suitable for young couples. The second floor has table seating and semi-private rooms, making it family-friendly. The sushi pieces are smaller than expected, with all items priced at 300 yen for 2 pieces, making it easy to choose. The shrimp sushi is priced at 1 piece. With a wide variety of appetizers, it's a good spot for those looking to enjoy some drinks. However, if you're looking for a more substantial sushi experience in terms of variety and size, you might find it lacking. Overall, it's a reasonably priced and casual spot that's great for dropping by.

I called on the same day but they were fully booked. They called me back when a table became available and I was able to dine in. The first floor has counter seats and the second floor has table seats. We were seated on the second floor, and the speed of service from ordering to receiving drinks and dishes was fast. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.

I went with a group and tried the course menu! I was wondering what kind of sushi restaurant it would be, but it turned out to be quite casual! The sushi was delicious, and the meat was also tasty! It seems like they have other locations, so I would like to go again if I have the chance!

The sushi and other dishes are very fresh and delicious. The sushi rice is small and easy to eat, which is great. They are open until 4 am, so if you go late at night, there may be limited options, but it's not a problem because there are no other places around here where you can enjoy delicious sushi until late at night.

Today, after a company drinking party, I visited this place with my colleagues. Having sushi as a finale for drinks is quite classy ♫ The restaurant is located a little west of Higobashi Station, south of Tosabori Street. The L-shaped counter had a few customers already. Everyone was quiet, either looking at their phones or staring into space. It seems like a place to reflect on oneself and reassess the day. The unique feature of this place is that each plate of sushi (2 pieces) is priced at 300 yen. They also offer side dishes. The sushi rice is thin and the fish slices are small but all very fresh and delicious. Based on other reviews, it seems like they used to be priced at 250 yen per plate? The recent price increase is understandable. While the sushi is like that, the alcohol prices are on the higher side. Also, the highball glass is slightly smaller, which is an interesting idea. A rare sushi restaurant in this area that is open until 4 AM in the morning ♫

Dinner time at the popular sushi restaurant Sushinosuke in Higo Bridge. When we arrived before the 6:00 opening time and lined up, we were told, "We are fully booked for today." So disappointing!! Determined to not miss out, we made a reservation for the following week and finally got in. Seated at the counter, we toasted with a shochu and tea cocktail called "Izumo High." The sushi dishes we enjoyed included kohada, scallion, salmon, tuna, bonito, kampyo, whitebait, golden eye snapper, sea urchin, salmon roe, botan shrimp, and fresh octopus. The toro nigiri was only 300 yen each, with small but delicious portions. The botan shrimp was a great deal at 300 yen for one piece, and they even served the crispy head part. I had only tried kampyo in rolled sushi before, but eating it on its own was a pleasant surprise. For side dishes, we had fresh octopus tempura with a choice of rock salt or plum paste, tuna simmered in a sweet and savory sauce, and thickly sliced grilled shiitake mushrooms, which were delicious all the way to the stem. There was a small mishap with the inexperienced cute female staff mixing up orders, but we were able to enjoy our meal in the end. My colleague found the sushi sizes a bit small, so we ended up going to a second restaurant afterwards. It was a satisfying meal overall. Thank you for the feast!

Today was also bustling at 7:30 PM. Draft beer for ¥500, assorted sashimi plate with 6 types for ¥1300 (tuna, fugu, yellowtail, sea bream, ark shell, Denjyusuke grilled conger eel). Tiger pork skin with ponzu sauce for ¥650, rice sake Junmai Ginjo for ¥900. The grilled Denjyusuke conger eel was excellent. The fugu was thick but slightly lacking firmness. Eel skewer for ¥660, salt-grilled prawn for ¥600, Southern Beauty for ¥770, Drunken Whale Junmai for ¥770. You can order one piece of each for 10 types of nigiri sushi, and even numbers are allowed (except for the botan shrimp, which is ¥300 for one piece). You can eat the prawn from head to tail, it's great. Pork skin is always a winner. All of this came to ¥7700. Sushi is nice once in a while.

On 8/8/2022 at 19:30, we had a variety of dishes totaling ¥1300 at Bakuren in Yamagata, ¥770 for Kinmedai-yaki at Shimozukuri in Akita, ¥1200 for Fukukomachi in Akita, ¥880 for grilled eel liver, ¥500 for eel skewers with salt (2 skewers), ¥660 for Yukinochaya, and ¥1800 for 6 pieces of sushi at ¥300 each. The seared Kinmedai and grilled eel liver were delicious. The sushi was really small. This meal ended up costing over ¥8000... I miss Sanjoshima's Jyanome...

The taste is worth more than the price. The sushi and rice are on the smaller side, but considering the location and price, it's a great deal. The fish is very fresh and well-prepared. I have been here many times and always order the eel and sashimi platter. The newly renovated interior and the atmosphere at the counter seats are fantastic.

Hello everyone. Good evening. It's been a while. Finally, it's Friday! I stopped by a sushi restaurant after work. Oh, it was delicious. Although the sushi toppings were a bit... well, I guess it's popular because of the atmosphere and being open late at night. Thank you for the meal.

This is a must-go restaurant once a month! They have a wide variety of sake and delicious sushi in just the right size. I think the cost performance is good. The shirako and eel liver are really delicious! There are always different types of sake each time I go, so it's fun to compare and drink them.

I use this place as a spot for late-night sushi after drinking because they are open until late. It's a bit hard to notice as it's located in a less visible area in Tosabori. The sushi here is priced at 250 yen per piece, which is quite cheap. They also offer a variety of other dishes, making it more like a seafood izakaya than a traditional sushi restaurant. The sushi pieces are decently sized for the price. However, the other dishes are a bit pricier. I always end up ordering more dishes when I'm drunk, so the bill ends up higher than expected. The first floor has a counter and tables for two, while the second floor is all tatami seating. It's always crowded during dinner time. I've been trying to control my spending and eating habits after drinking for over 10 years now. Money decreases and weight increases, it's a reverse correlation. But still, I feel satisfied and full after having sushi today. *I've been to this place multiple times, so I'm attaching a compilation of photos from different visits.

When you feel like eating fish late at night, don't hesitate to visit this place. They have branches in Nakanoshima and Kitahama, each with its own unique charm. The sushi is made with perfectly sized rice portions at a uniform price, making it a great accompaniment. The side dishes are also delicious, and I always end up enjoying some sake. Thank you for the great meal!

On Saturday evening after 6pm, the restaurant was almost full right after opening. It's understandable to some extent, but the food service is too slow. It makes me not even want to order more sushi. Waiting 20 minutes for food? Not being able to bring drinks promptly is disappointing for an izakaya. The taste of the sushi and tempura is just okay, so it's a bit disappointing.

The prices are a bit high, but I was impressed that I could eat shirako even though it's not in season! I tried two types and both were delicious. The sushi and sashimi were also fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is nice, with seats facing the counter. The service is also good, as they quickly ask if your glass is empty.

On weekends around 5:30 pm, the restaurant was bustling. This was my second visit, and it was packed with customers. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff were very efficient and made my stay enjoyable. The menu offers a variety of dishes in addition to sushi, such as simmered sea bream roe, tender octopus tempura, and fresh live sea cucumber sashimi. The sushi plates were reasonably priced at 300 yen for 2 pieces, and I particularly enjoyed the botan shrimp and sea urchin. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit, but be aware that due to COVID-19 measures, the operating hours are limited and popular items may sell out quickly. I look forward to returning to this delicious restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

On my way home from work, I stumbled upon a quiet sushi restaurant on the street! Upon researching, I found out that it's a super popular place!! I decided to stop by for a quick bite after work. It was just past 6 o'clock, so I was able to easily find a seat at the counter. I started with the seared salmon and flounder, both with salt. The salt had a nice sweetness to it, adding a great flavor. Next, I ordered the eel, which was thick and only 250 yen, unbelievable! What was even more unbelievable was the fatty tuna roll! As a fatty tuna lover, I couldn't believe the quality of the tuna for only 300 yen! It's a steal! (laughs) I usually don't like spicy red miso soup, but the one here was not too spicy and had a rich flavor, delicious! I finished off with a warm red miso soup and left the restaurant. They are currently closed due to the pandemic, but I will definitely be back! Highly recommended! (Although I don't want it to get too crowded, haha)
