Good evening~. Today's review comes from Munakata City~. On the way from Fukutsu City to Okagaki, you can see a shabu-shabu & buffet restaurant called "Ran". Nearby, there is also a hot spring facility called "Yamatsubasa" in Omimaru Onsen, and the area is lined with other dining options as well. On this day, my wife and I had dinner here~. Although I often pass by this area for work, I had never been inside this restaurant before, so I was curious to try it out. The interior is quite spacious, with several partitioned spaces that can accommodate group reservations. It was a weekday night, but the restaurant was quite busy with customers~. The basic course includes lunch buffet: adults 1630 yen, children 980 yen, and dinner buffet: adults 2080 yen, children 1280 yen. Shabu-shabu includes pork & chicken, vegetables, main dishes, side dishes, soft drinks, all-you-can-eat and drink. The most cost-effective part is the unlimited time on weekdays. You can eat slowly and enjoy the meal, which feels like a great deal~♪ Additionally, for an upgrade of +700 yen, you can get New Zealand Clover Beef and seasonal vegetables. Alcoholic drinks are not included. For the shabu-shabu main course, you can choose from four types of sauces: sesame sauce, ponzu sauce, spicy sauce, and sauce with half-cooked egg yolk. We had plenty of pork and chicken, which were delicious without any unpleasant smell. The chicken was refreshing, and we particularly enjoyed it with the sauce with half-cooked egg yolk. The sesame sauce was a bit thin, and the ponzu sauce was a bit strong. The surprising part was the variety of dishes on the buffet side. Italian dishes like pizza and pasta, Chinese dishes like fried rice and sour chicken, Japanese dishes like fried chicken, tempura, simmered eggplant, and fu champuru, as well as soup, curry, desserts, and more. A wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes~♪ Since shabu-shabu was the main focus, we didn't have high expectations for the other dishes, but we were surprised by the variety. The fried rice and sour chicken were delicious, and personally, I enjoyed the crispy fried foods like tempura and juicy fried chicken. The desserts were okay, but the soy cream cake and orange cake were tasty. With unlimited time for shabu-shabu and a wide variety of dishes, I felt that the cost performance was quite good~♪ I would like to visit again if I have the chance~. Thank you for the meal~.
