I thought it would start at 10 o'clock, but when I was walking around at 9 o'clock, the restaurant was already open. You can order at the storefront and pick it up later. You can also make reservations by phone. When I returned around 11 o'clock, there were a lot of people gathered. There were so many options that I had a hard time deciding, but I decided to order a limited edition item available only on weekends. Bomb Kimbap (extra thick rolled egg) for 480 yen, Black Rice Kimbap for 430 yen. When I buy in Shin-Okubo, the prices are high and the Kimbap is thin and ordinary, so I got really excited about the thickness and variety of Kimbap here, as well as the cost performance! And most importantly, it was so delicious!!! I understood why there was a line. It was packed with ingredients and the seasoning was just to my liking. Hello~ Sunday, Korean Town, Tsuruhashi Tour~!! My wife's main goal was to try the most popular Kimbap in Korean Town~!! I've never tried Kimbap before, but Maikonoie was a takeout-only shop, so we didn't have to wait long for my wife's turn~♪ My wife and the kids chose: My wife - Brown Rice Kimbap, Older child - Avocado Cream Cheese Kimbap, Younger child - Yakiniku Kimbap. We also got an extra Yakiniku Kimbap for eating on the go. I'm not a fan of sushi rolls or seaweed wraps, but this was delicious. The sesame oil added a nice flavor and the rice was perfectly cooked. We brought the leftovers home and had them for dinner, and they went really well with beer~( 〃▽〃) Especially the Avocado Cream Cheese Kimbap was amazing~♪ Well... I never paid much attention to Kimbap before, but in Tsuruhashi and Ikuno Korean Town, there are old-fashioned shops run by local ladies. Despite the trendy and expensive specialty shops, the ones selling Kimbap are always crowded for a reason. There are many different types of Kimbap available, with decent portions and reasonable prices(o^－^o) When I went back to take photos of the menu, many items were sold out... It was a takeout-only shop with a variety of Kimbap options such as normal, bulgogi, bibimbap, ham, and more, all at reasonable prices. They also had chijimi on the menu. My wife bought two "normal" Kimbap rolls (¥270 each) and one "bulgogi" Kimbap roll (¥380). We wanted to try the chijimi too, but we would have to wait for it to be cooked, so we decided to skip it this time. By the time my wife finished her purchase, the line had grown to over 10 people. I decided to have lunch at Mugi no Ie and ordered Kimbap. They made it fresh for me since I arrived just after they opened. I got Avocado Cream Cheese Kimbap for lunch and Bibimbap and Yakiniku Kimbap for dinner as per my husband's request. The smell of the cooking Jeon was so tempting that I couldn't resist getting some Konnyaku Jeon as well. It was my first time trying Kimbap with avocado, and it was delicious - creamy and perfect for those who like mild flavors. The Konnyaku Jeon was also amazing, with plenty of beef in it. I will definitely buy it again. Mugi no Ie is a popular spot on weekends, so I recommend going on weekdays. It's a great restaurant in Koreatown.

It felt more like beef simmered in soy sauce than grilled meat. I also tried the Cheese Kimbap for 350 yen. I have a bad habit of choosing high-calorie options even if it's just a little! Honestly, it was a gamble whether cheese would go well with it, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I actually wanted to try the "Bakudan Kimbap" with a thick omelette, which is limited to 50 pieces on weekends and holidays. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy it that day because it was a weekday, and that was regrettable. I usually go to visit the grave on weekends, so I have to make sure to go buy it at the right time!
