During my trip to Tomamu, I used this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We opted for the course menu, but it seemed like a la carte was also possible. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious, typical of a resort setting. However, it is on the pricier side, as expected at a resort. The staff were very attentive and provided detailed explanations of the dishes. The presentation of the food was also enjoyable, making it a great choice for special occasions like anniversaries. The meat was particularly delicious. Since we visited at night, we couldn't enjoy the view, but the restaurant is located on an upper floor with window-side tables, so I imagine the view would be quite spectacular before sunset.

I visited this restaurant after struggling to make a reservation in advance at most of the restaurants within Tomamu Resort. Located on a high floor with a view of the resort, the counter seats by the window allow you to enjoy the scenery. Instead of a course meal, I opted for ordering dishes a la carte. The crab salad had a spicy and delicious dressing similar to Cobb dressing, while the crab itself was average. I mainly ordered seafood dishes, and the standout was definitely the abalone...!! It was so tender and sweet, truly impressive! The way it was cooked was also fantastic. I understand that it may be challenging to maintain freshness for crab considering the distance from the market to Tomamu. The chocolate cake and panna cotta for dessert were moist and satisfying, both delicious. As expected from Tomamu Resort, the prices are on the higher side (laughs). I heard that fireworks go off every night at 7:30 pm, and the counter seats offer a beautiful view of it, so I recommend it to those who want to enjoy the fireworks. Thank you for the meal. One of the joys of staying at Hoshino Resort Tomamu is being able to choose from a variety of breakfast options. Today, I made a reservation at Grill'd Age on the 32nd floor of RISONARE Tomamu. While most restaurants do not require reservations, this place and Sora do, so keep that in mind. You get to choose one main dish from three options, and the rest is buffet style. I chose the beef stew, which was tender and paired well with bread. But the highlight for me was the clam chowder. It was packed with the delicious flavor of clams and had plenty of meat. It was amazing. I ended up eating so much that I could hardly move afterwards. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I am currently at Tomamu. I stayed at Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Tomamu, and because of that, I was able to take priority on the gondola ride for the morning cloud sea. I took the 4:20 am bus and went up the mountain. There is a place called Cloud Terrace, but unfortunately, it was completely covered in clouds that day. So, I decided to climb to the mountaintop where there was a hiking trail. It took about 30 minutes to climb, and when the clouds cleared, the view was absolutely breathtaking. It was such an amazing feeling. I returned to the hotel around 6:30 am. I took a nap and woke up around 9 am. I decided to have breakfast, so I went to the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. Since it is located on the top floor of the building, the view is very nice. I ordered the main dish and had a la carte for the appetizer. The view was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was delicious, so I was extremely satisfied.

Beef stew was supposed to be an option, but it turned out to be a buffet, and I immediately didn't understand why. As expected, there were no ingredients. This is the worst beef stew I have ever had. Other dishes were not delicious either. First of all, not being able to choose the main dish is a violation of the rules. I have never encountered such a terrible restaurant before. It doesn't seem like a restaurant in Hoshino Resort. I hope they change to a different restaurant. It was the worst.

The breakfast was reserved through an in-room phone call from 16:30 the day before at "Grilled Agi" located within Hoshino Resorts Tomamu. The restaurant is on a high floor, offering a great atmosphere with window seats overlooking the snow-capped mountains. The main dish chosen was beef stew, which tasted even better with the view. Eating in the snow mountains always enhances the dining experience. The image of chicken cheese and raclette cheese from Hanabatake Farm is associated with Hokkaido, making it a perfect menu for the snowy mountains. The buffet presentation was decent, with a stable and satisfying taste. The eclairs were particularly enjoyable. After a day of skiing, dining in the snow mountains with friends was a great experience.

During my stay at the Hoshino Resort Tomamu, I made a reservation at this teppanyaki restaurant located on the top floor, as I heard that dinner gets really crowded and reservations are a must. Despite specifying the course in advance, on the day of our reservation, it seemed like they had no idea about it. We were seated by the window instead of in front of the teppan grill, which was disappointing as the view was of the ski slopes rather than a beautiful night scene. We ordered the Silver Course for 15,000 yen, with sirloin cooked medium rare. The abalone was not tasty, and the teppanyaki dishes were lukewarm. The meat sauces offered were mediocre, with the barbecue sauce tasting cheap. Considering the price, including the service, I would give a critical rating.

After enjoying at the ice bar, we went to this grill restaurant on the 32nd floor of Resonaire because the place we wanted to go was full. We arrived a little early as fireworks were scheduled to be launched at 19:30, but the interior lighting made it a bit difficult to see due to reflections, and the fireworks were quite far away (laughs). However, since we could almost sit by the window, the night view was nice. We ordered the Silver Course a la carte, starting with pumpkin soup and appetizers like smelt. We also ordered foie gras. In the middle of the course, shrimp came out, but it was undercooked and had a fishy smell...surprising. Next, abalone came out, and I couldn't help but sniff it. It was fine. We also had grilled vegetables, salad, and ordered both sirloin and fillet steak. There were three types of steak sauces, which was nice for changing the taste. Thank you for the meal.

I had teppanyaki at a restaurant on the 32nd floor of Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Tomamu. I visited the steakhouse at the same facility the day before, but this restaurant gave me a slightly different impression with its luxurious atmosphere and the night view from the 32nd floor. We had seafood and meat teppanyaki. The seafood set included shrimp (tiger prawn), octopus, squid, etc., and we had fillet and pork for the meat. The meat was very tender and cooked to perfection as requested. They were also accommodating to menu requests, which added to our satisfaction. Since the hotel is located in the mountains, I thought that having lunch with a view of the ski slopes during the day might be more beautiful as a borrowed landscape, but the night view was also lovely. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Breakfast @ N43°SEAFOOD〜Teppanyaki Restaurant〜GRILLED・AGI After watching the sea of clouds, I had breakfast at GRILLED AGI on the 32nd floor of the Resonare Tomamu South Building. You could see hot air balloons flying from the restaurant. You have to go to the counter bar to get your drink. I chose the beef stew. You can choose between bread or rice, and it comes with salad, soup, omelette, sausage, and yogurt. There are many restaurants at Resonare Tomamu, but since I wasn't sure what time I would return from the sea of clouds, I chose this one because it was closest to my room. But I think I would have preferred Japanese food. This place serves grilled salmon. I used to come to Tomamu to snowboard, but now it has been developed into a vast resort by Hoshino Resorts, where you can enjoy all kinds of restaurants and facilities! I will check out and do some more sightseeing.

A restaurant with solid COVID-19 measures for lunch. I ordered cheese and meat because I wanted to eat them. For girls, one serving of rice might be enough. I was satisfied. It's a shame they didn't have wine during lunchtime. I wanted red wine with the meat, but settled for champagne. Eating while enjoying this view is the best.

Teppanyaki restaurant on the upper floors of Tomamu Resort. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, as expected from a hotel restaurant. We enjoyed high-quality ingredients such as scallops and foie gras. The only downside was that even though we reserved a "best view seat," we couldn't see the view at night. It makes sense that there would be no view since there are no lights outside, but it would have been nice if they had mentioned this possibility when we made the reservation to manage our expectations.

I used it for dinner at a Hoshino Resort accommodation. The meal while looking at the night view of Tomamu on the 32nd floor of the hotel felt special. The interior of the restaurant is filled with luxury signs, but the prices are reasonable. Each dish is carefully prepared and very satisfying.

This is a shop located on the top floor (32nd floor) of the building where I stayed. I made a reservation by phone as it was required, right after arriving the day before. I took the first bus at 4:30 in the morning to see the sea of clouds, and returned to the room at exactly 7 o'clock. The reservation time of 7:30 was spot on. When I arrived at the reserved time, I was seated on the mountain side. The main dishes we chose were "Homemade Beef Stew" for my companion and "Seafood Mornay" for me. The menu stated that everything except the main dish was all-you-can-eat, but according to the staff, the main dish was also all-you-can-eat. (A young man at another table had the main dish four times.) Even though we were told it was all-you-can-eat, we didn't have the stomach capacity to have seconds. We truly regretted not being able to eat more. After finishing the well-balanced one-plate lunch, we leisurely enjoyed our coffee before returning to our room on the 5th floor to organize our belongings.

Teppanyaki dinner at Grilled Age is the largest in Hokkaido, Tomamu, which has a large aging room, offers aged meat and wine. Every day, fireworks can be seen from the restaurant. We were guided to a seat with a view of the fireworks, which was very romantic. We had a bottle of Yoichi Kellner wine. The crab salad was delicious with plenty of crab meat and a refreshing dressing. The garlic shrimp with grated garlic sauce and lemon was just right. The Hokkaido squid teppanyaki and beef stew with lots of meat were also very satisfying. The atmosphere was great, and we were able to enjoy our meal slowly in an adult-like setting.

Recently, the Engel coefficient has been dropping, so I didn't have high expectations and decided to splurge on the Diamond Course priced at 25,000 yen (the most expensive). The appetizer included instant smoked scallops, salmon, and caviar, as well as sautéed foie gras and teppanyaki lobster. The portion sizes were small for such a high-priced course. The teppanyaki grilled seafood selection included abalone, sea urchin, and flounder. There was also a palate-cleansing salad, 150g of Hokkaido black wagyu fillet, and 60g of Hokkaido beef tongue with a fragrant demi-glace sauce. The garlic rice was chewy and the dessert was a delicious Yubari melon. I ordered a bottle of Penfolds 8 for 13,000 yen since the wine selection by the glass was lacking. If asked what to do when ordering a bottle with a course, I recommend a white or rosé bottle with a glass of red for the main course, as red wine is not often served with courses these days. If the restaurant has a good selection of wines by the glass, it's best to leave the pairing to the restaurant. This time, the Penfolds 8 matched the course composition well, despite any concerns about cost performance. The kids' plate priced at 800 yen was excellent value for money, and without it, I would have rated the restaurant lower.
