Located in Osaka, near Nishinakajima-Minamigata on the Hankyu Railway line, this restaurant was the perfect end to a day that started with a breakup. The recommended lunch menu for 1,000 yen was popular among customers, but I chose to quietly enjoy a local sake, the Mutsu Hassen, priced at 580 yen. For sushi, I ordered ikura (salmon roe) for 300 yen, fresh sea urchin for 400 yen, scallions for 120 yen, cockles for 250 yen, and a trio of tuna for 850 yen. The sushi prices range from 50 yen for the cheapest piece to 400 yen for the most expensive, with no minimum order. After finishing the sake, I tried the Oze no Yukidoke (Junmai Daiginjo) for the second round of sushi. From the recommended menu, I ordered scallop for 200 yen, bonito for 150 yen, cod milt for 200 yen, horse meat for 250 yen, Kawahagi liver for 300 yen, and fatty tuna for 600 yen. The attention to detail in preparing each dish, combined with the reasonable prices, made the total bill of 5,258 yen worth it. However, the sushi pieces were on the smaller side compared to typical servings, so if you're looking for larger portions, this may not be the best choice. Personally, I enjoyed the smaller pieces as a perfect way to end my day with some quality sake.
