Saitama Seibu Lions game‼︎ It's summer vacation, so I'm excited to go with my daughter.
- Cold spicy udon with meat miso sauce (served with beef loin cutlet) ¥1150
Meat festival discount -¥345
Cashless discount 5% -¥41
Since it doesn't have soup, it won't get soggy. The sesame oil helps loosen the noodles. The beef loin cutlet is thick and rare inside‼︎ Very filling. It was quite luxurious and delicious as baseball stadium food. We enjoyed it at a discount with the meat festival and cashless discounts♪

On regular days, I spend 70% of my time on business meetings and 30% on watching games. However, since two home runs were hit, I decided to buy a home run bowl. I bought it hot but didn't have time to eat it and it got cold (lol). I reheated it at home and ate it.

The food and beverage outlets at the PayPay Dome have also undergone significant changes due to the coronavirus. All establishments have implemented thorough infection prevention measures, including no alcohol sales after 8:00 PM, limited areas where alcohol can be purchased, and the absence of beer vendors. Support for these measures is important as we adapt to this new era. As a result, I couldn't order a beer set, so I settled for a cola. I'm sure beer would go well with this potato and meat dish. Let's do our best in this reasonable situation.

On this day, I casually visited "Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome".
◇ Exterior and Interior
There is a similar restaurant with the same name in the local area, so it is likely a chain restaurant. Probably a new addition during the recent dome renovation. The exterior is not very distinctive as it is primarily a takeout shop.
◇ Seating
Takeout only.
◇ Menu Composition
The main items on the menu are dishes made with beef cutlet or roast beef. I ordered the following:
- One bite-sized beef cutlet (600 yen) → First time trying. The sauce is already applied, and it is literally bite-sized. The taste is simple but delicious. It's surprisingly tasty and perfect as a snack. The price may be a bit high for a dome, but it's a great snack. The cup contains about 5 pieces of cutlets, and they still taste good even when cold. This could be a great option for a snack. I have a feeling I might come back for more.
◆ Strong Points
It could be perfect as a snack, and they also have products collaborated with athletes.
◆ Service
Average.
◆ Summary
Some may say there's no need to review this place, but I'll pretend not to hear that. It was surprisingly delicious! I might try the roast beef next time. Since I only tried the beef cutlet, I'll refrain from giving a rating. Thank you for the meal.

Accompanying the Yahoo Dome viewing. "Kyoto Katsu" on July 4, 2018 NEW! Theme: Fukuoka City Chuo Ward/Western Ticket. I received tickets, so I went to see the Hawks game. I have this kind of opportunity about once a year. Soccer requires constant attention for 45 minutes, but baseball allows for a more leisurely viewing experience. I wandered away from my seat and found "Kyoto Katsu." It seems like they have been expanding their stores lately. Having the word "win" in the name is definitely lucky. The set with a beef cutlet and a thick sausage costs 900 yen. Just one sausage fills up your stomach. It goes well with beer... but it would be even better if the beer were a bit cheaper. ●Shop Information Kyoto Katsu 092-851-7525 2-2-2 Jigyohama, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City Yahoo Dome inside

This is a meal enjoyed while watching a baseball game, known as the "ultimate wish-making gourmet" (laughs). It is the "Katsugyu Home Run Donburi" from the "Gyukatsu Specialized Store Kyoto Katsugyu" priced at 1,350 yen. It's a collaboration between Katsutaka and Kyoto Katsugyu. Kyoto Katsugyu is a popular restaurant known for its rare beef cutlet, located on Tenjin Nishi Street, but I have never been there due to the long lines during busy times. I never expected to see them at the Yahoo Dome. This dream-like collaboration features the signature sirloin beef cutlet and Kyoto salt-roasted beef. It also includes an onsen tamago (hot spring egg) and a garlic-flavored cream sauce. The thin breaded beef cutlet is cooked just right, not rare, but tender and juicy. There are also limited edition snack menus available only at the stadium.【Restaurant Name】Kyoto Katsugyu Fukuoka Yahoo! On this day, it was the 3rd opening game at the Yahoo Dome. This season, the catchphrase has changed from "Netsuo" to "Wanda Ho." One new restaurant that has opened at the Yahoo Dome this season is "Kyoto Katsugyu." It is located near Gate 8. On this day, even before the game started, there was a long line. It was probably because it was featured on TV (maybe on Asadesu?). The dish that was featured at that time was the "Wanda Ho Don" for 2929 yen, which is a bowl of roast beef with plenty of garlic. However, no one seemed to be ordering that dish, and most people were going for the more affordable "Katsugyu Home Run Don" for 1350 yen. I paid first, received a ticket, and waited at the pick-up area. The line didn't get any shorter, and the pick-up area gradually became more crowded. It took a total of about 20 minutes from the start of the wait to receive the food. I arrived at my designated seat and enjoyed the "Home Run Don," which had roast beef and beef cutlet on top, along with sour cream and a hot spring egg on the side. The rice was okay, not as good as a pre-made bento, but not bad either. The roast beef was pretty tasty, and the beef cutlet, although small, was decent. When it comes to food inside the Yahoo Dome, to be honest, I feel like I'd prefer this takeout option over buying a pre-made bento at this price. Yahoo Dome is generally expensive, so I guess that's how the players get paid. Thank you for the meal~
