I visited around 10 PM and there were 2 groups waiting. It's definitely popular! [Ordered items] Ramen. It had been a few years since I last visited Irakaya, but it was so delicious!! And it's only 680 yen, which is a steal. Actually, I had just eaten yakiniku before this, but after taking a sip of the soup, I surprisingly felt hungry again haha. That's how good the soup was! If I'm in the area again, I definitely want to go back!

The soup is not too rich but has a solid Hakata pork bone flavor. The noodles slide down smoothly. There might be a bit too much green onion though. It's hard to find parking nearby, which makes it difficult to come back.

Nishishin is a fierce battleground for ramen, right? The ramen has a rich taste. Quail eggs are rare, but they go well! Since there was pickled mustard greens, I added a lot!! A restaurant with pickled mustard greens automatically gets extra points haha. I might want to try finding pickled mustard greens that go well with ramen rather than just the ramen itself.

I heard that the roasted pork ramen at this place in Nishijin, Fukuoka, was recommended, so I decided to go try it during my business trip. The taste was just average. I'm not sure if this thin noodle goes well with this soup. Maybe it's just a preference thing, but it didn't quite balance out for me. I guess this type of noodle is popular among people in Kyushu.

I learned about this ramen from an acquaintance. It was my first time trying ramen with spinach and quail eggs as toppings, and it was incredibly delicious, making me hooked on it! I usually don't like rich ramen, but surprisingly, this ramen was light and I want to come back for more!

"Fukuoka's House-style Ramen" and "Hybrid Ramen of Kyushu Tonkotsu and House-style" is a delicious and popular ramen shop known for its rich pork bone soy sauce soup made using Kyushu's traditional "call-back technique" to extract the soup. They spend over half a day preparing the soup, ensuring no hint of "gamey" taste and concentrating the sweetness, umami, and richness. The pork bone soup is combined with chicken oil to create a rich and flavorful ramen. The slightly yellow color of the soup comes from the fresh "chicken oil" added to it, providing a hint of sweetness. This unique flavor is enjoyable even for those who are not fond of pork bone soup. The noodles are original and made in collaboration with a noodle factory, ensuring that freshly made noodles are served daily. The medium-thick straight noodles pair well with the soup. Toppings include quail eggs and spinach, giving it a visual resemblance to Kanto-style "house-style ramen." Located in the ramen battleground of Nishijin, this popular shop often has long lines, with the Nishijin branch being the main store."

Hello everyone, it's MoriP here, exploring food mainly in Fukuoka! Today, I visited "Umidoshi" and tried their ramen. It's a tonkotsu ramen with a strong garlic flavor and a mild soy sauce taste. The soup is full of umami and I couldn't help but drink it all. The oil on top is quite noticeable but not too heavy, just right! The noodles are firm and slightly thicker than usual for tonkotsu ramen. I think it fits perfectly in the category of tonkotsu ramen. It might be one of the top choices among Fukuoka's tonkotsu ramen!

I came alone and ordered ramen and half fried rice. The ramen was soy sauce tonkotsu flavor. I think there was also tonkotsu ramen available. The ramen was delicious and had a satisfying taste that didn't get boring. The fried rice had a slightly different taste from the usual, and I couldn't quite figure out what it was. This fried rice is addictive.

On a Sunday afternoon. I saw DAIGO on TV so I decided to go to the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant was not very spacious, and there were a few people waiting outside, but I was able to get in fairly quickly. The ramen was a soy sauce-based pork bone broth, so it wasn't too heavy on the pork bone flavor and was easy to eat. It's a good option when you're in the mood for something other than tonkotsu ramen in Fukuoka. Also, when I ordered a half portion of fried rice, I got exactly half the amount. If you're looking for a larger portion, I recommend ordering 1.5 times the noodles or a full portion of fried rice instead of the half portion.

There are many ramen shops in Nishijin, located about 5-6 minutes from Nishijin Station by subway. When you enter the shop, you buy a ticket from a vending machine. Inside the kitchen, three men are busy preparing the food. I ordered ramen and gyoza. As I poured water into a cup at my seat, I noticed some oil floating on the surface of the ramen (I haven't tasted it yet). The ramen had a slightly strong soy sauce flavor in the tonkotsu broth. The chashu was cut in half and the egg was quail, with a noticeable spinach flavor. The gyoza was more steamed than crispy, with a strong one-bite texture. Thank you for the meal!

I visited Acchan Tei because it was closed. I ordered ramen (680 yen) with extra noodles (130 yen). The extra noodles were curly noodles (170 yen). The ramen had a soy sauce tonkotsu flavor. Lately, I've been finding rich tonkotsu soup a bit too heavy, so personally, I liked it. However, whether it's worth getting off at Nishijin to visit this place is still up in the air.

The other day I saw this family ramen on TV and it caught my interest, so I went to try it by myself! The Chiyosaku in Takadanobaba that I used to eat during my student days (now closed) is my memory of family ramen. I was torn between getting the fried rice set with the meal ticket, but I ended up choosing ramen and gyoza. It was my first time having quail eggs. I finished all the soup. The noodles were thin like tonkotsu ramen? It was delicious, but different from the family ramen I remember. Thank you for the meal.

After sushi and yakitori, we visited this place for a final meal. The taste wasn't particularly memorable, but it was decently delicious. I remember that the place was small and filled with young people. Surprisingly, the tonkotsu ramen was only 600 yen, which is impressive for a student town. The ramen scene seems competitive here, so price must be an important factor. I'd like to visit again when my memory is clearer. Well, maybe not for a while though.

Popular shop that I hadn't been to yet, despite living next to the station. The default topping is spinach, quail eggs, and seaweed in a tonkotsu shoyu base. It's definitely a home-style ramen. The noodles are thin with the option for extra noodles, and you can't customize the richness or oiliness, following the Hakata style. The soup is surprisingly light and refreshing, with no pork bone smell and a reduced heaviness typical of home-style ramen. Personally, I prefer the punch of traditional home-style ramen, so I found it a bit lacking. However, it was still delicious in its own way.

The staff's attitude was bad, but the ramen was okay. I don't think I'll go back there again! But when I said "thank you for the meal" on my way out, they suddenly became friendly.

Eating ramen twice in one day was a first for me. I had Shinshin for lunch and Kaizoku-ya for dinner. After eating a hearty meal of yakitori, my stomach was quite full. But I managed to eat it. The soup was delicious! The quail eggs were a bit hard. There was a cardboard box in the store labeled "Canned Quail Eggs," and I thought, "Oh, this taste and texture must be store-bought." Maybe because I was already full, but I think I prefer Shinshin~

I visited this restaurant recommended by my friend in Fukuoka. When I arrived five minutes before opening, there were already about 8 people in line. It wasn't too cold that day, so it was okay, but it might be tough to wait on really cold days. The Tonkotsu Ramen is the classic dish here. Please try it.

I couldn't leave Fukuoka without eating ramen, so I headed to Nishijin to try some. First, I went to Jiro, but it was closed. Then I went to Nishinitei, but it had unexpectedly closed down and turned into a chicken soba shop, which was disappointing. Finally, I found this place. It was always packed during lunchtime, showing that it's a popular spot. The ramen was 680 yen and the draft beer was 500 yen. The noodles were firm, not too rich, but still had a good pork bone flavor. It was delicious! This place also offers abura soba, which is rare in Fukuoka, so I want to go back and try it next time!

I visited a famous ramen shop I've been wanting to try, known for its tonkotsu ramen. I waited in line outside for a bit before ordering the ramen. It arrived quickly, and the soup had a nice blend of soy sauce and tonkotsu flavors, which was delicious. The spinach was also tasty. However, I didn't like the thin, slightly crunchy noodles, which affected my overall impression of the dish. It made me realize how important the noodles are in a bowl of ramen and how they can change the entire experience. It's a shame because everything else was good. I think if they changed the noodles, it would be delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Ramen restaurant in Nishishin. Occasionally visit this place. Went during lunchtime. ~Order~ Ramen with salmon and mayonnaise rice (lunch set). Served in about 5 minutes. The soy sauce pork bone soup is quite fatty. Toppings include green onions, chashu, spinach, and quail egg. Looks like a house style ramen. Tasted the soup. It's a bit thin, like a house style flavor. The noodles are extremely thin, like Hakata style, and they mix well with the soup. Finished eating while adjusting the taste with condiments like spicy pickled vegetables and pepper. Note that the spicy pickled vegetables may or may not be available. ~Conclusion~ Good value for money and taste. The service may not be to everyone's liking, but if I'm nearby, I might visit again. Thank you for the meal.
