We visited a charcoal-grilled restaurant called Mizukake Chaya in Hozumi Temple Alley with my partner. The charcoal-grilled dishes in front of the counter are enjoyable to watch! Everything in this restaurant is priced at 300 yen each (excluding tax). Of course, all alcoholic drinks are also priced at 300 yen each (with some exceptions). We settled at the end of the counter and started with a bottle of beer (600 yen) for a toast~♫♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪ We enjoyed a mix of recommended and classic dishes, such as Grilled Tai Head, Sazae Shell Grilled, Man'nenji Pepper, Salt-Grilled Chicken Thigh Bone, Negima, Shiitake, Grilled Large Shrimp with Salt, Grilled Rice Ball, Konjac with Baby, and Tsubugai Changja. The lively atmosphere and the delicious smell of charcoal-grilled dishes made us drink a bit too much~ It was a delightful meal.

I had a great time watching the teppanyaki grill in front of me at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and it was fun to see it being cooked right before my eyes. Located in Namba, there were many foreign customers, but I was impressed by the fact that they had an English menu available. In addition to seafood, they also had meat skewers, vegetables, and a variety of dishes to enjoy. There was a wide selection of drinks, and I felt that there were many options that paired well with the teppanyaki. It was a great day out with friends I hadn't seen in a while.

The 5000 yen all-you-can-eat and drink course was very satisfying. There were no restrictions on drinks, and they even accommodated our preferences for stronger flavors. Since there were three of us, we chose a table instead of sitting at the counter. I recommend sitting at the counter if you go with just one other person!

The taste was salty and had some off-flavors. The service felt like it was done by part-time staff and was not great. Not suitable for dates or gatherings of older people who appreciate good food. However, it is good for group parties with people who enjoy eating and drinking a lot. The prices are cheap. The tatami seats are narrow and uncomfortable for men, who feel like they might fall. Generally, the charcoal-grilled vegetables are better than the meat or seafood. The grilled eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, and other vegetables were excellent. It's a robatayaki restaurant, but feels more like an izakaya.

It was a special day, so I headed to Osaka despite the rain. In the past, I would have taken the first Shinkansen of the day for a day trip to a certain place in Osaka with a meeting time of 9 o'clock, but I've reached an age where that's a bit tiring, and my friend, who I haven't seen in a while, was able to meet up earlier, so I decided to stay overnight. We met in the Namba area and wandered around Hozenji Yokocho... It had an atmosphere with a history of robatayaki, but I was surprised to see that most of the customers were foreigners. We had a good time chatting and enjoying food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. Well, then there was this photo afterwards... Well, let's just leave it at that.

I visited "Hozoji Yokocho Robatayaki Mizukake Chaya" in Chuo-ku, Osaka City for the first time. It is an izakaya located in the Hozoji Yokocho in Osaka Minami. The restaurant has a narrow entrance but goes up to the 4th floor. I visited on a Saturday evening from 5 pm to around 7 pm, and when I left, it was full with many customers. Both food and drinks are priced at 330 yen per item. I chose a medium size for the draft beer (small is 330 yen, medium is 660 yen), and it came in a large mug. Since they serve quickly, I think it would have been better to order two small ones. We tried various dishes, and overall, they were delicious for the price. Despite eating and drinking until I couldn't eat anymore, the total bill was around 3,600 yen per person. The "Butter-grilled Live Scallop" was especially delicious. I was too full to try the "Live Turban Shell in a Pot" this time. Overall, I was quite impressed by this good robatayaki izakaya.

Located in Hozenji Yokocho in Namba, this restaurant is a hidden gem in a narrow alley. Upon entering, head to the second floor and take a seat at the counter. You can watch as they grill your food right in front of you. They offer a single item all-you-can-drink option, so start with a refreshing draft beer. The specialty here is the charcoal-grilled dishes, such as scallops, squid, and thick fried tofu. As you snack on the edamame appetizer, the grilled squid is ready. Try dipping it in a bit of mayonnaise for a delicious combination. The scallops are a luxurious treat, followed by the hearty fried tofu. Next up, enjoy grilled vegetables like yam and eggplant, as well as skewers of grilled chicken. The yam is thickly sliced and has a great texture, while the eggplant is consistently tasty when grilled. The charcoal-grilled chicken skewers are also delicious. Don't forget to try the quail eggs - they are a rare treat. Switch to a highball drink halfway through the meal. With the all-you-can-drink option, it's easy to indulge, but the experience is well worth it. I left feeling satisfied after enjoying delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is pleasant, so I will definitely come back to this restaurant the next time I'm in Hozenji.

Today I went to the Hozenji Yokocho and had a light meal at "Mizukake Chaya" right next to Mizukake Jizo. It's a cozy restaurant with a counter where you can enjoy a variety of grilled dishes such as vegetables and fish, as well as sashimi and fried foods. The grilled dishes are the highlight, and I recommend trying the grilled red snapper collar and other grilled items. Most items on the menu, including drinks, are priced at a flat rate of 330 yen, which is quite impressive. The location in the middle of Namba and Dotonbori is convenient, and the spacious seating allows you to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the grill.

After leaving the new world, the next stop was Hozenji Yokocho. I had been to Dotonbori nearby before, but this was my first time at Hozenji Yokocho. After a stroll around, it was time for an early dinner. I visited "Mizukake Chaya" in Hozenji Yokocho. Mizukake Chaya has a grill right in front of the counter, so you can enjoy watching the food being cooked. The dishes are very reasonably priced at 300 yen each (shrimp is 600 yen). Because it was so affordable, I ended up ordering a lot. The scallops, yam, chicken tenderloin, avocado, and shrimp were all delicious.

For dinner on a day trip to Osaka, I recommend a healthy teppanyaki restaurant. They offer a variety of dishes such as fried food and sashimi, but the teppanyaki is the highlight. Watching the food being cooked in front of you adds a special touch to the experience. The vegetables were particularly impressive, and I couldn't help but order more. The seafood was delicious, especially the large clams and prawns. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch. Overall, it was a fantastic restaurant and I highly recommend it. They have a half-price appreciation sale on June 8th, so it's a great time to visit!

Robatayaki is so much fun♫ At Hozoji Yokocho, "Robatayaki Mizukake Chaya" offers all items for only 300 yen. Not only that, they also have menu items over 300 yen, so you can enjoy luxurious seafood dishes as well. They had Suntory's low-carb beer, so I had a beer charge for the first time in a while! They have seating from the 1st to the 4th floor, with the 1st floor offering counter seats where you can fully enjoy robatayaki. The 3rd floor has table seats, and amazingly, the 4th floor has private rooms with karaoke! It's like enjoying two things at once with an izakaya and karaoke. I didn't use it this time, but I would love to try it someday.

I went for a day drink in Namba a while ago. We met up around 2 pm in Namba and went to a place called Rokubata Yaki Mizukake Chaya in Hozenji Yokocho. It's a robatayaki restaurant where almost all food and drinks are priced at 300 yen each (excluding tax). Normally, they open at 4 pm, but during the period of priority measures for prevention of spread, they open from 2 pm. We sat at the counter and saw that they offer a drink all-you-can option for 1500 yen (excluding tax) for 120 minutes (last order at 90 minutes). Since they didn't have many options for sake in the all-you-can-drink menu, I decided to order individual drinks. I ordered a whiskey highball and we were served edamame as an appetizer. We ordered various dishes from the menu where items without prices listed were all 300 yen each (excluding tax). The food was cooked in front of us and served on a long spatula. We ordered dishes like grilled hokke fish, assorted skewers, grilled red snapper, and scallops with butter. We enjoyed a few highballs before switching to sake. The sake options were also priced at 300 yen each (excluding tax) and we tried different varieties. The food was delicious, especially the butter-grilled scallops and grilled quail eggs. We also enjoyed the skewers and other dishes with our drinks. The cozy atmosphere of the robatayaki restaurant added to the experience. Overall, it was a great experience with affordable prices, delicious food, and a wide selection of drinks. I would love to visit again in the future. Cheers! 🍻

I used to frequent the Chikaramaru Group when I was young. They are known for their reasonably priced and delicious robatayaki. I recommend sitting at the counter, watching the robatayaki being cooked, and enjoying freshly made dishes with a large ladle. Most dishes are priced at 300 yen, but some items like sashimi are priced at 600 yen. We also enjoyed comparing different local sakes, making it a fun and delicious dinner. Thank you for the meal! I went in thinking "Everything for 300 yen, that's cheap, right?" They cook right in front of you and the ingredients are neatly displayed, which gets your hopes up. The taste was so-so... and the attitude of the chef was bad. The chef places the food on a long stick and brings it to your table (see photo). When my friend tried to take a picture, I politely asked, "Excuse me, can we take a photo?" and the chef replied, "Hurry up, the other dishes will burn." It may be true, but I felt there could have been a better way to say it. Also, they have a decent variety of alcohol, but the highballs were weak... You wonder if there's even alcohol in them. I don't think I'll go back for a second time. Maybe you can't make delicious food for 300 yen. It's disappointing, which ironically makes it feel overpriced.

I had been curious about the 300 yen per item robatayaki restaurant. It's common to find cheap places, but the food is not always delicious. However, this place had good reviews and it's important to be wallet-friendly at the end of the year! So, my friend and I visited the restaurant. There is also a second floor! We sat at the counter with the robatayaki right in front of us. The tables are low, as expected. Since there were empty seats, we put our belongings there. Watching the ingredients in front of us being grilled was fun. We started with a toast with chu-hai and fruit sake soda. The chu-hai glass was huge! Good thing we didn't go for all-you-can-drink. - Daikon salad: standard taste - Shishito peppers: cut for easy eating - Hokke fish: great value and tasty - Hormone (offal) yaki: not really my taste - Thick fried tofu: the best!! Number 1!! It was crispy on the outside and delicious. Sitting at the counter was a bit cramped, so I couldn't stay for too long. If you want a quick stop, it's a great atmosphere, enjoyable, cheap, and overall fantastic! We had 6 drinks and food for 4000 yen, which was a pleasant surprise. I apologize for only having two photos, it was difficult to take more. I will definitely visit again! Oh, I just realized we didn't get the squid cartilage dish.

The Rokumaru Group is a chain of robatayaki izakayas centered around Umeda, Namba, and Tennoji. I have been a regular customer since I was young, and I still find their cost performance amazing. When I go to Rokumaru in Minami, I usually go to "Rokumaru Chaya" near "Mizukake Chaya," but this time I went here. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats surrounding the grilling area. The atmosphere of the robatayaki is great, but the smoke inside the restaurant is intense. However, the prices are very reasonable, with most items priced at 300 yen excluding tax. We ordered tomato slices, simmered eggs, butter-grilled scallops (a must-try specialty of Rokumaru), grilled large clams, quail eggs, yakitori, grilled eggplant, and skate fin. We also had various other dishes and drinks, but the bill was still cheap. I prefer the atmosphere of Rokumaru Chaya, but it was a great experience enjoying robatayaki after a long time. Thank you for the meal!

At Hasshoji Yokocho, the prices are quite reasonable. However, the drinks took a while to arrive and the side dishes were very slow to come out... Probably due to the low prices. But they were working hard while sweating, so that's good too. Thank you for the meal.

On the second night of my business trip to Osaka, it was past 8 o'clock in the evening, so I decided to visit this restaurant in Hozenji Yokocho after finishing the first round of izakaya hopping. Luckily, I was able to immediately get a seat at the counter. The drink menu had been slightly updated, but the snacks were still reasonably priced. The grilled dishes cooked right in front of you looked and tasted delicious. The presentation on a large spatula also added to the value for money. I was fortunate to be able to dine here today, and it was a good experience.

The restaurant offers all dishes and drinks for 300 yen each (excluding tax). The appetizer is also 300 yen per person. It seems like there are some dishes that have a higher profit margin than others. The grilled mackerel with salt was delicious. However, items like tomatoes and eringi mushrooms may not be worth it (for those on a budget). The grilled sazae (turban shell) and limited white clams were tasty but each cost 300 yen. The sashimi was good. Overall, seafood seemed better than chicken or pork. The restaurant was crowded with foreign tourists, giving it a bit of an "away" feel, but the staff were nice. We were kicked out after 2 hours and ended up spending around 8,700 yen for two people. It was a decent experience overall.

We used this restaurant for a farewell party and a New Year's party. The place was quite crowded on the weekend, but we were guided to a dugout table on the third floor for our group of over 20 people. We had a course with all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink options. First, there were dishes like grilled fish and vegetable salad. Then, we ordered from the all-you-can-eat menu. We ordered various dishes such as grilled live sazae, grilled live scallops with butter, grilled eringi mushrooms with butter, pork shoulder steak, and assorted skewers. This restaurant is truly part of the Rikimaru Group, with affordable prices and all the dishes were very delicious. We would like to use this place again next time. Thank you for the meal.
