The daily lunch special is ¥700 and the grilled dumplings are ¥330. It was a weekday afternoon, with one student customer before me and three customers after me. The restaurant had a good size with seating for four at the counter and four at tables. It's a local Chinese restaurant. I accidentally ordered the daily special without looking closely and ended up with ramen. I also ordered the dumplings, so I ended up consuming too many carbs. The dumplings had a light garlic flavor and a chewy skin. I couldn't find vinegar on the table, but I wonder if they would bring it if I asked for it? The ramen didn't come with a ladle, so I think the system might be to ask other customers for one. It wasn't a big deal for me, so I didn't ask for one. I finished everything without leaving any food, it was a satisfying meal.

Chilled ramen (mini), fried rice (mini), 3 dumplings. They serve on Sundays. Today's special was chilled ramen so I decided to try it. There's no air conditioning, just a fan occasionally blowing towards me. The restaurant is moderately busy. Maybe it's because it's open on Sundays or maybe it's just the right atmosphere. I started with the fried rice, a simple one with pickled ginger that I enjoyed. Then the soup arrived and everything tasted even better. The chilled ramen had cucumber and pork slices as toppings. I wish it had some spicy mustard too. The dumplings were delicious, just the way I like them. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I'll come back again after summer is over.

Located near the Maruyama area, close to the food center along Odori, is a Chinese restaurant. My wife and I had dinner here as we were nearby for some errands. The restaurant had a cafeteria-like atmosphere with counter seats and tables. When we arrived, we were the only customers, but soon more people started coming in, and by the time we left, it was almost full. The menu offered a variety of Chinese dishes, including set menus. Since we were quite hungry, my wife and I each ordered the "Number 1 Set Menu (900 yen)" and shared some "Xiao Long Bao (@120 yen)" and "Pan-Fried Dumplings (330 yen)". The Number 1 set included half fried rice, half ramen, zangi (fried chicken), salad, and dessert. The male owner managed the place alone, but he served the customers efficiently without making them wait too long, which was impressive. The food had a traditional Chinese taste similar to places like Tokyo 50, and while the quality was average, the prices were reasonable for the variety offered. The pan-fried dumplings were just as good as regular dumplings, and although we never quite understood the meaning behind the restaurant's name "Kobe Gyoza," everything we tried was tasty. Overall, it's a good place for casual Chinese dining when you're in the mood.

Visited the restaurant around 7 pm on a weekday after work. The place was about half full. I wanted to have a set meal, so I ordered the gyoza set for 560 yen. Even though I usually don't drink on weekdays, I decided to get a small draft beer for 380 yen because gyoza just goes so well with beer! The food arrived promptly. The set meal here also comes with pickled vegetables and soup. You can upgrade the soup to half a ramen for an additional 100 yen. I savored the 6 pieces of gyoza. It had a good balance of meat and vegetables and was juicy. Considering that it also came with pickled vegetables and soup at this price, it was quite a good deal. Thank you for the meal!

Lunch at GW in Maruyama Park. Avoiding the crowds, I searched for a restaurant in the opposite direction of the park. I found this restaurant there. There was one couple waiting in front of me, but it was manageable. Soon, we were seated at a table. The menu was all reasonably priced. Above the counter, there was a board with aged menu items and prices, written in both Chinese characters and Japanese kanji, which was charming. Surprisingly, amidst the overall price increase of around 100 yen for each menu item, alcohol and juice were cheaper now. I was intrigued by the dim sum set meal, which seemed labor-intensive and not commonly found in other restaurants. It included three types of steamed dishes, all of which were delicious. Additionally, the "Kobe Gyoza" named after the restaurant was tasty, but just a regular gyoza.

Located a 5-minute walk from Maruyama Koen Station in Sapporo, this local Chinese restaurant has a casual atmosphere. They offer a wide range of menu items, from ramen to Chinese dishes to set meals. I ordered the No. 1 Set Meal for 900 yen, which included half a bowl of soy sauce ramen, half a portion of fried rice, zangi (fried chicken), salad, and dessert. The ramen had a slightly sweet soup with simple toppings, while the fried rice was a standard dish without any standout features. The other items were just extras. The portion size was average, and the price was neither cheap nor expensive, just normal. Overall, it's a typical local Chinese restaurant where you can eat without any issues. If you can't find anywhere else to eat and it's not crowded, it's a convenient option. Thank you for the meal! ✨

This is a shop I've been curious about for a while. The door was frozen and super heavy! Haha. The cost performance is really good. The an-kake yakisoba wasn't too salty, which was nice. The noodles were crispy in many parts! That's great. The fried rice had a homely taste. The ramen felt like an extension of the soup.

Stir-fried green peppers and pork with spicy miso. Moving day. Lunch with my wife. The soba shop and Chinese restaurant were full, so we went to another Chinese restaurant we had been to before. I ordered a set meal, and my wife ordered ramen. We also got some pan-fried dumplings. The set meal came with half a bowl of ramen and dim sum. The portions were huge. The spicy version of shredded pork with green peppers was delicious, with plenty of meat. The ramen was also tasty, just the right amount. The dim sum was piping hot. I gave the shrimp dumplings to my wife. The pan-fried dumplings were delicious. Thank you for the meal. It had been a while, but the quality has been consistent.

The Hasegawa family's go-to when feeling lost. Today's special is sweet and sour chicken tempura for 650 yen. The daily special includes mini ramen, pickled vegetables, and rice. The hot and sweet sauce is perfect for the cold winter in Sapporo, keeping its heat until the end. It may not be outstandingly delicious, but it's a comforting taste. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I visited the Hashimoto family restaurant. I went around 12:30 on a weekday. Today's daily special was the "Cashew Stir-Fry Set" for 700 yen. It came with half a ramen and pickled vegetables, as usual. The food was reliably delicious, but the cashew stir-fry was a bit oily. Thanks for the meal!

Having lunch at a downtown Chinese restaurant. It's reasonable and the portions are generous. It's located near Sapporo Food Center, making it easy to get to. The interior is spacious with more seating than expected. It's the kind of place where you'll want to have a beer while enjoying fried rice or ramen. Daily lunch special for 780 yen.

The review mentioned that the cost performance was good, but the reality was different. The sweet and sour pork set with grilled dumplings from the signboard cost 950 yen. While the price is cheap, the cost performance may not be as good as expected. The portion size is large, but the taste is not quite what was expected for Japanese-style Chinese food. The sweet and sour pork was small and lacked the tangy flavor. The taste of the dumplings may vary depending on personal preference, but they are as shown in the image.

The restaurant is located near my company, so I often use it for lunch. Today's daily special set meal is "Kung Pao Chicken Set Meal" for 680 yen, so I decided to go in. The daily special set meals here come with a main dish, mini ramen, rice, and pickles for this price. It's a popular spot in the neighborhood with great cost performance. The taste of all the set meals here is always good. Today's Kung Pao Chicken was a bit oily though. It's a shame that they don't provide wet towels or tissues. After all, Chinese food can make your mouth dirty, so I wish they had them! Despite that, it's a Chinese restaurant with great cost performance that I keep coming back to.

I found a stylish area near Maruyama Koen Station in Sapporo with many trendy shops. While walking around at lunchtime, I noticed a Chinese restaurant that seemed popular with older men. I decided to give it a try. Inside, I saw an uncle cooking alone in the kitchen, while a woman (presumably his wife) was handling the serving and cleaning. I ordered the reassuring sweet and sour pork set meal along with some dumplings, which seemed to be their specialty. Both the food and the dumplings were exceptionally delicious. I look forward to coming back in the evening to try more dishes. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I went to this place looking for lunch dumplings. The restaurant had a counter with 5 seats, 4 table seats, and a semi-private table for 6 people at the back. The unique thing about this place was the jazz BGM, which was unusual for a Chinese restaurant. When I arrived at 12:15, there were already 6 groups of customers totaling 12 people, showing that it was quite popular. I was with 3 people, so we were seated at the semi-private table at the back. The menu had a lot of dishes at affordable prices, like ramen for 430 yen and dumplings for 300 yen. They also offered set menus with generous portions, as well as a variety of Chinese dishes. I ordered fried rice for 500 yen and dumplings for 300 yen. The fried rice was moist and had a typical Chinese taste, but the rice was a bit too soft. After finishing the fried rice, I waited for the dumplings, which took about 10 minutes to arrive. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture, but the plump dumplings had a slightly torn skin with meat juice leaking out. The filling had a good amount of meat but the seasoning was a bit mild. Overall, the prices were cheap but the quality was average. I think the set menus might be a better choice here. Thank you for the meal.

I was enchanted by the deliciousness of the food and ended up coming three weeks in a row. Last time, I tried the Gomoku ramen and realized the deliciousness of the shio ramen, so this time I planned to order the miso ramen and fried rice. However, when faced with the wide variety of menu options, I suddenly felt the urge to try the shumai set meal as well. I decided to order the half ramen with shoyu flavor so that I could taste all three flavors - shoyu, shio, and miso. The ramen arrived in front of us at lightning speed, leaving no time for conversation with my friend. It was an incredibly happy moment with the half ramen, miso ramen, fried rice, half rice, shumai, zasai, salad, and soup all laid out before us. The fried rice was particularly impressive - not the type you gobble up quickly, but one that you savor with each bite as the flavors spread in your mouth. The finely chopped char siu inside added various delicious tastes with each mouthful. The miso ramen was also delicious, and when I added a little pepper to the shoyu ramen, it became just to my liking. There were many families dining there, and the shumai was delightful, almost like a pudding. I would love to eat more, but it's a dim sum restaurant, so if I had more money, that would be great. I still haven't tried all the menu items, so I plan to keep going back for a while.

When looking for a gourmet burger shop influenced by a TV drama, I was drawn in by the enticing aroma and decided to try the ginger pork set meal and a large portion of vegetable ramen. The ginger's strong flavor with a hint of spiciness made the meal irresistible, and the vegetable ramen was incredibly delicious with its flavorful soup and fresh vegetables. I am originally from Yokohama, and I couldn't resist trying a forbidden collaboration by adding the ginger pork into the ramen soup. The result was a delicious combination reminiscent of the ramen I used to eat in Yokohama, creating a unique and incredibly tasty dish.

The piping hot vegetable stir-fry, cooked in a Chinese wok, is served as a topping. The clear golden-colored soup is lightly seasoned with a gentle soy sauce, offering a clean and clear flavor. The noodles are thin and chewy, providing a satisfying texture. The "Kobe Gyoza" on the menu is a must-try, with a moist and flavorful finish. The restaurant has a casual Chinese eatery vibe, with more table seating than counter seating, creating a relaxed atmosphere. You can take your time to look over the menu and order, and they even bring water to your table. I chose the vegetable ramen this time, which was served promptly. It was loaded with ingredients like spinach, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, menma, bean sprouts, napa cabbage, and green onions, along with a flavorful slice of pork char siu. The clear soup had just the right amount of flavor, and paired perfectly with the thin noodles. Overall, it was a satisfying and filling bowl that exceeded the typical standards of a local Chinese eatery. Thank you for the delicious meal.

During the weekdays spent at home due to COVID-19, I decided to take a walk in the Maruyama area on the weekend to get some exercise. With many shops around, I was drawn to a particular store and decided to go in. The weather was nice, so I started with a beer and some grilled dumplings. As I waited for the dumplings, I watched the owner skillfully prepare a hot pot behind the counter, which reminded me of the typical wait time at a Chinese restaurant. Finally, the grilled dumplings arrived. The skin was chewy, and the crispy sear was perfect. The garlic-infused filling was not too heavy, and the delicious skin made it worth it. The garlic sprout and pork stir-fry set that I had chosen earlier arrived next, along with a mini ramen set. The stir-fry was lightly seasoned with salt and had a refreshing taste. The ramen had a light soy sauce flavor that I enjoyed, with a hint of sweetness and lovely toppings like snow peas and narutomaki. I ended up eating more than I expected, but the food was tasty, affordable, and offered a wide selection. I wish there was a place like this near my home. Thank you for the meal.

*A woman dining alone* ... I think I ordered the oil-drizzled chicken, but it was different from what I expected. It was delicious though, just not what I had in mind. I also ordered some soup dumplings since I hadn't eaten anything all morning. It was nice that you could order as many as you wanted. A customer came in to pick up some dumplings to go, which caught me off guard. But I guess that's how it is in Chinatown. Overall, it was a nice meal.
