I was invited by a friend to go, but the inside of the restaurant lacked cleanliness. The food was generally delicious, but it was disappointing that the highball didn't have any carbonation. It might have been just a one-time thing. The atmosphere was good though!

The other day, I went to a restaurant called "Kaseya" in Oyafuyuki with my friends. It's a hidden gem located at the back of a building, so you wouldn't know it was there from the outside. Inside, there are counter seats and three tables in the back, which can be combined to seat up to 6 people. The menu mainly consists of fish dishes, and they offer a course meal with all-you-can-drink for 3500 yen! It's a great place to have a fun time with friends without breaking the bank.

Located just a 3-minute walk from the company, on the first floor of Bacchus-kan, if you go towards the back, you will find "Kasei-ya." The L-shaped interior is not very spacious. The appetizer is a simple potato salad with okonomiyaki sauce drizzled on top. You can also order it separately if you prefer. For those watching their figure, the bacon and leaf vegetable Caesar salad is a good choice at 480 yen. A must-try at the restaurant is the beef tornado skewers, priced at 300 yen each. I imagined something like the sausages or potatoes twisted into spirals that you often see at beer pubs when I heard "tornado," but it's just a regular skewer. Each piece is wrapped around in a spiral. The Japanese-style sauce is very delicious, and the meat is tender. It's really tasty. Enjoying the sesame mackerel (580 yen) while sipping on hot water mixed with shochu. Delicious. Although the restaurant is not very big, they offer a variety of dishes from fish to meat, and even ramen for the finishing touch. Perhaps they are closed on Tuesdays because they are returning to Mars. Oops, I wrote something boring. ● Restaurant Information Kasei-ya 092-732-3077 3-4-15 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City Opening hours: 18:00-01:00, Closed on Tuesdays

I was out drinking until late at night and suddenly had a craving for ramen, but the ramen shops were closed! After searching, I found a place called "Kasumiya" that is open from 2am to 8am. This place is perfect for those who stay out late drinking. The tonkotsu ramen is delicious and the staff is friendly. They also serve yakitori, so I definitely want to try it when I have room in my stomach. If you're someone who drinks until morning, this place is a must-visit!

All the desired shops were fully booked. It seems like I might become a lunch refugee. As I was walking along Oyamadaka Street, I noticed a sign saying "Delicious Champon." Intrigued by their confidence, I decided to visit the restaurant. It was located on the first floor of a building, and the interior was dimly lit. I could see a large lantern with the name "Kasenya" written on it. Inside, there was a counter and a few tables for four in the back. It felt like an izakaya that also served lunch. I sat at the counter and looked at the menu. They had several types of champon on the lunch menu, each priced at 500 yen as a special offer. On that day (Friday), the "Spicy Champon (750 yen)" was available for 500 yen. I asked the friendly waitress across the counter, "Is the spicy champon really spicy?" She replied, "Yes, but I can make it less spicy if you'd like." So, I decided to give it a try. I noticed a sign inside the restaurant saying "Free rice balls and spicy pickles." The waitress mentioned that they were prepared at the table behind me, so I helped myself to two rice balls. The champon arrived, and it was more of a spicy version than extremely spicy. It mainly consisted of pork (95%) and a hint of fish cake, with no seafood. For 500 yen, it was a good deal, but at the regular price of 750 yen, it might feel a bit lacking. The soup had a mild spiciness that complemented the noodles and ingredients well. The taste was actually quite good. When the chef came out of the kitchen, I told him that I enjoyed the level of spiciness, and he seemed really pleased. As I continued eating, I started sweating. I think lunch was until 13:40. When I finished the soup, the chef thanked me with a big smile and said, "Thank you for finishing it. Please come again." The service at the restaurant was pleasant, and I left with a good impression. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I enjoyed some drinks through a Groupon deal and decided to have a final meal at Mars House along Oyafuko Street. They had a coupon for a limited-time offer from 2 am to morning, which included ramen and 5 skewers, offering a new sensation of B-class gourmet. There was also a coupon for 3 skewers of tornado steak with a drink. I visited the place twice. The first visit was for the ramen and skewers deal. It was around 8 am on a Sunday when I arrived, and the building was filled with the strong smell of alcohol, with young people chatting and some even sleeping due to intoxication. The interior had a blend of pork bone smell and alcohol-like scent. The place was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday morning, but I managed to find a spot at the counter. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The ramen had a rich and creamy soup with a hint of egg, and the skewers had a balanced amount of salt. It seemed like the flavors were slightly strong, perhaps to pair well with alcohol. It was a bit disappointing that there were no condiments like mustard or sauces available. The second visit was right after they opened at 6 pm. The menu recommended the tornado steak skewers. I chose a drink, opting for a watermelon shochu highball, which had a sweet watermelon juice flavor. When I asked if they could start grilling the skewers, they promptly brought out the tornado steak skewers after 5 minutes. The thinly sliced beef wrapped around the skewers was tender and paired well with the onions and sauce. The size of the skewers was average, and the tenderness of the beef was commendable. Although the price of 300 yen per skewer made it a bit challenging to order multiple skewers casually.
