Today, I came here. It is a dining place located in a residential area within walking distance from Hankyu Kyoto Line Ibaraki-shi Station. I had noticed this shop before from my car. The interior is clean with a TV, and there is a kitchen in the back. There are 6 table seats and the place is run by a couple in their 70s. The menu includes udon, soba, rice bowls, side dishes, and drinks. There are also small dishes displayed in a glass case. I ordered the daily special set meal (choose between Katsudon) and was asked to select 2 items from the menu. I chose "simmered eggplant" and "spaghetti salad". The slightly small katsu was soaked in a sweet sauce and topped with egg, not very crispy but still delicious as it was freshly fried. The simmered eggplant was cold and melted in my mouth, very tasty. The hot miso soup had tofu and seaweed in it. I finished my meal feeling satisfied with the home-cooked flavors. It felt like a place loved by the locals. The service was good. Wheelchair accessibility: yes, with a small step. Washlet in the back, no parking available.
