I bought a special selection of Ehomaki, but there seems to be an abnormal amount of kanpyo compared to the sample photo, and other fillings seem to be lacking. Personally, I think 1400 yen is expensive for this. The kanpyo flavor is too strong. My family also said there's only kanpyo in it.

The long weekend is coming to an end soon. Even though I've been working most of the time this year, I decided to come out for lunch today. It's been a while. When I arrived, I was a bit hesitant because there was a line at the entrance, but surprisingly, the table seats were empty. I ordered my food and waited a bit longer... I noticed that even though the table seats were empty, there were small children running around. It seems like there are private rooms where some groups are seated. Despite the wait, the lunch was worth it. There were four types of sashimi, tempura, and plenty of side dishes. Everything was delicious!

I used it for a meal after a memorial service. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the course. Course meal at Uo Masashi, Sennan City.

In Minami Osaka, there are several fishing ports. Customers come from all over the Kinki region, and the dishes that come out include tuna, squid, shrimp, sea bream, yellowtail, and salmon. I wonder if they use locally caught seafood? Since it's a restaurant for group tours, fish that are not readily available may be difficult to use. It's impossible to serve freshly fried tempura (laughs) due to the large volume. However, instead of saying "impossible," I hope for continuous improvement and even more prosperity. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I was invited to a New Year's party by senior figures in the industry. The location was Uo Masashi, a fish restaurant located a little west from Route 26 in Izumisano City. A shuttle bus picked us up at Izumisano Station on the Nankai line. After the industry bigwig's New Year greetings, it was time for a toast. We started with beef shigureni and bottled beer, as they didn't serve draft beer at the moment. The beef shigureni had a rich flavor with a nice accent of ginger. Next up was crab, lightly dressed in vinegar, which everyone enjoyed immensely. Silence fell over the room as everyone devoured the crab. It was really delicious. Then came a sashimi platter with sea bream, tuna, and squid, all of which had great quality. We enjoyed the sashimi with our beer, and then they lit up the sukiyaki pot for us. We dipped the cooked meat in egg and savored the flavors. The meat was a bit tough, but overall it was good. As a palate cleanser, we had a cute pumpkin bun with sweet bean paste in an onion soup bowl. It was surprisingly tasty. The highlight of the meal was the red snapper head stew, which was incredibly delicious. It was the best dish of the day. We then switched from beer to sake, and enjoyed a tempura platter with matcha salt. The matcha salt was so good that it could make you drink a couple more cups of sake. To our surprise, a sushi platter with 3 pieces of sea bream, tuna, and squid was served. It was a bit redundant with the sashimi platter. The meal ended with steamed egg custard and dessert. Overall, it was a delicious kaiseki meal, especially the fish dishes. The restaurant is spacious and suitable for large banquets. The service was good, although there was one staff member who seemed visibly unhappy. The cost-performance ratio was decent for a 5000 yen kaiseki meal with a drink package. They even provided a shuttle back to the station. It was a really enjoyable New Year's party!

Last month, I went to a service lunch and a dessert buffet that I was curious about. The lunch for 1000 yen was said to be slightly smaller by my mother, the tempura was 2 centimeters smaller! I noticed that the pickled plum was smaller! So, both of us were just complaining! But the sashimi was decent, I think, and for 1000 yen, it felt like a good deal. And this time, there was a dessert buffet! This starts at 1 pm, so you need to adjust your time accordingly with lunch. If you enter too early, you'll have to wait until the dessert buffet starts. The dessert buffet had various cakes, chiffon cake, chocolate fondue, strawberries, oranges, and a drink bar. After lunch, you could have coffee and a small piece of cake for 300 yen, so for an additional 300 yen, you could enjoy the dessert buffet! But paying 1200 yen just for the dessert buffet is not worth it! After lunch, having coffee and a small piece of cake came to 1600 yen. It's a bit expensive. The restaurant is located in Izumisano City. I always pass by this road on my way back from Sky City Oka. If you come from Route 26, you enter the side road. This is a catering shop, but there is also a lunch menu. The shop itself is large, with a parking lot, and several shop buses were parked there. When I entered the shop, I was surprised to see that it was quite crowded. There are about 10 table seats, and most of them were full. The menu includes shrimp fry and sashimi, all priced at over 1000 yen! The service lunch is 1000 yen, and looking around, it seemed like a service lunch, so that's what we ordered. But looking around, I noticed that only the table next to us had their food served! The atmosphere was a bit off, and everyone seemed a bit irritated due to the long wait with little conversation and resorting to playing with their phones. Finally, the table over there got their food! But then, it took a while for our food to arrive. I was like, why is it taking so long?! It felt like forever until our food finally arrived. I was thinking, maybe there are a lot of customers at the back as well! When our food finally arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The sashimi was fresh, the tempura had two large shrimp, and the pickled plum was big and delicious! I was in a good mood all of a sudden. I noticed the dessert that the table next to us ordered. It turns out, there is a dessert buffet starting at 1 pm. Coffee is not available as a single item, and the table next to us was waiting for the dessert buffet to start at 1 pm. Glancing at the dessert, it seemed like homemade cakes were lined up. There were cheesecake, strawberry cake, but the way they were cut seemed amateurish! It felt like they were cut with a difficult knife at home! There were similar cakes and jellies in cups, and I thought, I don't really need dessert. But then, I thought, well, for 600 yen, with coffee, it's okay. However, it turned out that if you only want the buffet without lunch, it's 1200 yen! No way, the desserts at 1200 yen were not worth it. The recommended option is the service lunch!

I thought as long as I could enjoy my meal, that would be enough, so I was a bit surprised. I didn't have high expectations because of the location, but the service staff exceeded my expectations. They were well-trained and I was able to enjoy my meal in a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. I would like to visit again and take my time to enjoy the experience.

We used the restaurant for a meal after our baby's shrine visit. Since my mother has trouble walking, I had requested a table reservation and informed them it was after the shrine visit. They provided us with a splendid private room and even prepared a baby bed and blanket. It was really helpful and thoughtful. We had a course meal, which was quite generous and we couldn't finish it all. They provided containers for us to take home any leftovers, except for items that don't keep well. The food was delicious. The only small disappointment was that the chawanmushi didn't have ginkgo nuts. We visited on a Saturday for lunch and the restaurant was bustling, giving us the impression that it's quite popular.

My husband and I both ordered the lunch set. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and is very nice. The sashimi is incredibly delicious.
