Last month, I went to a service lunch and a dessert buffet that I was curious about. The lunch for 1000 yen was said to be slightly smaller by my mother, the tempura was 2 centimeters smaller! I noticed that the pickled plum was smaller! So, both of us were just complaining! But the sashimi was decent, I think, and for 1000 yen, it felt like a good deal. And this time, there was a dessert buffet! This starts at 1 pm, so you need to adjust your time accordingly with lunch. If you enter too early, you'll have to wait until the dessert buffet starts. The dessert buffet had various cakes, chiffon cake, chocolate fondue, strawberries, oranges, and a drink bar. After lunch, you could have coffee and a small piece of cake for 300 yen, so for an additional 300 yen, you could enjoy the dessert buffet! But paying 1200 yen just for the dessert buffet is not worth it! After lunch, having coffee and a small piece of cake came to 1600 yen. It's a bit expensive. The restaurant is located in Izumisano City. I always pass by this road on my way back from Sky City Oka. If you come from Route 26, you enter the side road. This is a catering shop, but there is also a lunch menu. The shop itself is large, with a parking lot, and several shop buses were parked there. When I entered the shop, I was surprised to see that it was quite crowded. There are about 10 table seats, and most of them were full. The menu includes shrimp fry and sashimi, all priced at over 1000 yen! The service lunch is 1000 yen, and looking around, it seemed like a service lunch, so that's what we ordered. But looking around, I noticed that only the table next to us had their food served! The atmosphere was a bit off, and everyone seemed a bit irritated due to the long wait with little conversation and resorting to playing with their phones. Finally, the table over there got their food! But then, it took a while for our food to arrive. I was like, why is it taking so long?! It felt like forever until our food finally arrived. I was thinking, maybe there are a lot of customers at the back as well! When our food finally arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The sashimi was fresh, the tempura had two large shrimp, and the pickled plum was big and delicious! I was in a good mood all of a sudden. I noticed the dessert that the table next to us ordered. It turns out, there is a dessert buffet starting at 1 pm. Coffee is not available as a single item, and the table next to us was waiting for the dessert buffet to start at 1 pm. Glancing at the dessert, it seemed like homemade cakes were lined up. There were cheesecake, strawberry cake, but the way they were cut seemed amateurish! It felt like they were cut with a difficult knife at home! There were similar cakes and jellies in cups, and I thought, I don't really need dessert. But then, I thought, well, for 600 yen, with coffee, it's okay. However, it turned out that if you only want the buffet without lunch, it's 1200 yen! No way, the desserts at 1200 yen were not worth it. The recommended option is the service lunch!
