Even though it's close to my house, it was my first time stopping by for lunch. I ordered the beef curry. The beef was incredibly tender and delicious, and I also tried a bit of my companion's pork cutlet curry, which was also very tasty and easy to eat with a spoon. It was the most delicious curry I've ever had. I definitely want to eat it again. Thank you for the meal.

I finally went to Kogane-ya, a popular place in Osaka known for its Western-style curry. I ordered the pork cutlet curry this time. The cutlet was crispy and satisfyingly large. It matched well with the curry sauce and was delicious! The curry itself was very simple, but tasty. Good food tends to become simpler over time. Thank you for the meal.

Pork loin cutlet DX for 1430 yen with raw egg for 60 yen, seeking cutlet curry. The curry is an authentic sweet and spicy curry. It has a creamy texture with a gentle sweetness from vegetables and fruits, and a rich depth of flavor with a strong kick of spices that comes later. I chose the DX option, so there was tender beef in it which was delightful. The cutlet had a thin crispy coating with a thick cut of lean meat. It was fried well, providing a crispy texture that was meaty, but tender enough to cut with a spoon! The coating also had a strong flavor, not losing to the curry. It was a satisfying dish with plenty of meat! There were radish pickles and mixed pickles on the table, which was a nice service touch that made me very happy! Thank you for the meal.

I liked the curry here! It reminded me of the curry from San Marco, which is my favorite. It was delicious! In a time when there are many unique curry options, it was nice to have a traditional curry here. I can see why it's popular. The only downside is that the large portion is a bit pricey, but I love the taste so I will definitely come back!

A friend recommended this place to me, and I decided to visit. The interior was calm and cozy, like a coffee shop. There were sofa seats where you could relax and enjoy your meal in an adult-like atmosphere. They used seasonal fresh vegetables and the fried dishes were cooked perfectly, very delicious. The curry had a rich flavor with a variety of toppings, and it made me want to come back every day just like their concept. The staff was polite and made the dining experience pleasant. I will definitely visit again soon. Thank you for the delicious meal.

A must-visit European-style curry restaurant in Shinmachi, just a short walk from Nishiohashi Station! As a huge fan of European-style curry, I was blown away by the deliciousness of the beef curry. You won't regret trying it at least once. Next time, I want to try the pork cutlet curry!

I tried the famous beef curry for 1,020 yen at Koganeya, which I had been curious about for a while. I chose the large serving of rice at 360g. It is made with domestic black wagyu beef, lean meat, vegetables, and fruits, simmered for 5 hours. I sat at the counter and it was served in about 5 minutes. The curry was generously topped with rice, and the curry sauce had a rich, fruity flavor. The beef was tender and melt-in-your-mouth. It truly was a delicious curry, as they proudly claim. Thank you for the meal.

I heard it was delicious and went there right away. Hmm, the pinnacle of Western-style curry. It's easy to eat without any strong taste, and the meat is tender and you can eat it quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice, with a slightly dim Western-style interior. I want to go back to try something different at this restaurant!

【A whirlwind tour of Osaka curry③】In Osaka, where the trend of creative spice curry is said to have originated, new restaurants continue to open one after another. However, Osaka curry is not just limited to that. There are also "sweet at first, spicy later" types and Sri Lankan styles, but this time we chose European-style curry! A recommended restaurant for those who declare themselves as meat lovers is "Koganeya." The location of the restaurant can be confirmed through Tabelog. Located in a quiet area a short walk from Shinsaibashi, the restaurant in the semi-basement exudes a unique atmosphere. Upon sitting at the table, you must decide between the Beef base, Chicken base, or Tomato base curry, and then choose your toppings, such as pork cutlet, mixed fry, crab cream croquette, or shrimp fry, offering a lineup that will delight Western food lovers as well. This time, as a meat lover, I had to order this: "Thick-cut pork fillet cutlet DX" for 1,510 yen. The curry, which is the restaurant's signature dish, has a beautiful appearance, and the presence of the meat is striking. The thick-cut pork fillet cutlet, cooked at a low temperature, has a stunning pink color. The crispy coating and the tender meat are a perfect match, rivaling even specialty pork cutlet shops. And the Beef curry... The curry starts with a refined bitterness, followed by the sweetness and umami of onions and fruits, and a sharp spiciness, perhaps from pepper? The beef floating in the curry sea is also delicious! It is made from carefully processed domestic black wagyu beef (brisket, neck) of A5 and A4 grades, simmered for over 5 hours. The bite-sized pieces of meat have an exquisite texture, and it's safe to say that they would be delicious even without teeth. The rich curry, paired with the best pork cutlet and beef, is nothing short of exquisite! This restaurant is sure to satisfy both curry and meat lovers. Thank you for the meal.

We would appreciate it if you could also visit the blog for more information: https://spicepaccho.com/2021/07/20/koganeya/ 【Koganeya: Osaka - Nishi-Ohashi】Visited on July 8, 2021 (Thursday night) from "Nishi-Ohashi Station" Exit 2, just a 1-minute walk away. At 6:50 PM, there was zero wait time. The exterior of the store (building appearance) had a sign that said "Koganeya." Located right near Nishi-Ohashi Station, this place is known for its ultimate curry. They won the Grand Prize in the 2022 Western-style category. In fact, they have achieved a three-peat in the same category and have been inducted into the Hall of Fame! We decided to check out this popular spot for Western-style curry. The spacious and relaxing interior of the restaurant includes counter seats, table seats, and sofa seats. There was also a TV. The curry base comes in three types: "Beef base," "Chicken base," and "Tomato base." You can add toppings like cutlets to your favorite curry. Additionally, they had seasonal curries such as "Oyster Fry" and "Thick Fried Tofu." The recommended dish is the Beef made with domestic black wagyu beef! It's limited in quantity, so we had to order it! A simple and beautiful Western-style plate arrived! We ordered the Pork Loin Cutlet DX (Loin Cutlet, Beef, Crispy Onion) for 1400 yen. The beef cutlet was delicious! You can also taste the sweetness of the fruits. The red meat of the black wagyu beef is simmered for 5 hours to concentrate the flavor. Beef!!! The pink cross-section! And the incredibly tender beef was amazing! It was so tender that it could easily be cut with a spoon. The freshly fried pork loin cutlet was also excellent! We also tried the thick-cut fillet cutlet, which was juicy and perfectly cooked. Overall, the owner's service was polite and humble!☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆We are active on our blog, Instagram, and Twitter! Near Nishiohashi Station, there is a curry restaurant that left me in shock the first time I visited. I couldn't believe how delicious the curry was here. They offer a variety of options including beef and chicken, but I recommend the Tomato Beef Curry. The meat used is high-quality black wagyu beef, so tender that you don't even need to chew. The curry sauce has a Western-style base with a large amount of fruits added, giving it a wonderful richness and depth. The fried toppings are light and won't leave you feeling heavy. Surprisingly, the side salad and complimentary pickles are also incredibly delicious. This is my favorite curry spot in recent years.

This was my first visit to a curry restaurant in Shinmachi, Osaka. I arrived around 12:30 on a weekday. As I descended into the half-basement restaurant, I noticed only one group waiting. I was quickly seated at the counter, with seats spaced apart for COVID-19 prevention. I ordered the "Mixed Fry DX (large)" and it arrived shortly. The Mixed Fry included croquette, pork cutlet, and shrimp fry, while the DX version had beef curry with beef. The beef is simmered for 5 hours with vegetables and fruits. The curry had a sweet fruit flavor at first, followed by a gradual spiciness. The croquette was delicious, the pork cutlet was refreshing, but the beef was my favorite - it was so tender it could be cut with a spoon, and the meat's flavor was fully enjoyed. The curry had a rich flavor, and it was a long time since I had such delicious European-style curry. I would like to try different curries here in the future. Thank you very much.

I visited around 13:00 on a weekday. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere like a cafe. The pork cutlet curry costs 1,040 yen. The curry has big chunks of beef that seem to be well stewed and tender. The cutlet also has a crispy coating and tastes delicious. I'm not quite sure what European-style curry is, but this one had a mild and gentle flavor rather than being heavily spiced.

I visited a curry restaurant that I was curious about for lunch! They have three types of curry: beef, chicken, and tomato. The chicken curry is said to be more on the spicy side. There are also various toppings available. Since it is a Western-style curry, I decided to try the beef first and ordered the "Thick-cut Beef Cutlet DX" with Beef base! The DX option includes A5 brisket and A4 neck of domestic black wagyu beef! The meat was so tender and delicious! The pork cutlet was also tender and thick, providing a satisfying bite. The curry is simmered for over 5 hours, allowing the flavors of the meat and spices to blend perfectly. I found my ideal Western-style curry here!

I ordered the Mix Fry DX at Koganeya near Shinsaibashi in Osaka. It's a curry dish where you can enjoy beef curry, shrimp fry, tonkatsu, and cream croquette together for ¥1480. The beef curry has a nice balance of tenderness and spiciness, making it easy to eat. The meat is very tender and well-cooked, making it delicious. It's a curry that you could eat every day. Thank you for the meal.

I tried the popular European-style curry restaurant that was featured in a magazine. Well, it's not bad. Not great either. Just average. It was labeled as the winner in the European cuisine category in the magazine! They might have raised expectations too high (laughs). But really, it's not bad, just average! Thank you for the meal ^_^

Recently, I've been craving La***ins curry for a while, so I pass by the restaurant during my lunch break. Despite it being 1:30 PM, there was a line today. However, thanks to that, I discovered a really delicious restaurant called Koganeya, which serves European-style curry. I parked my cross bike in front of the store and went inside the semi-basement shop. The spacious interior had a handsome master working alone. There are 4 table seats and it seems like they leave one seat open at the counter for COVID measures. I ordered the beef curry with extra large pork cutlet. You can choose from beef, chicken, or tomato curry sauce. I hesitated between tomato and beef but went with the classic beef. It says on the blackboard that it's been simmering for 5 hours, which raised my expectations. After about 10 minutes, the delicious curry arrived. I took a bite and at first, it was fruity and sweet. The rich depth of flavor followed by the spices was impressive. The pork cutlet was typical for a curry shop, with a light seasoning that paired well with the curry. One thing I highly recommend trying if you visit is the pickled radish. It's incredibly delicious! I love pickled radish and even make my own, but the pickled radish at this restaurant is really tasty. I was sweating all over my face by the time I finished about half of it. It's not spicy, but my tongue is sensitive, so even a little spice makes me sweat a lot. I finished the meal while sweating. I had 5 pickled radishes in total. European-style curry is also delicious. It's different from spicy curry but I love it. It was another delicious lunch today.

In Shinmachi, Nishi-ku, there are various lunch options, but as the weather gets hotter, I was craving curry and decided to visit this restaurant. Koganeya is a popular curry restaurant known for its European-style curry. During lunchtime, the place is bustling with nearby office workers, indicating its popularity. I was in the mood for a hearty meat dish, so I ordered the Thick-Cut Pork Cutlet DX. While waiting for my curry, I was served a salad. The Thick-Cut Pork Cutlet DX arrived, featuring a generous portion of beef and pork cutlet in one curry dish. The beef was tender and juicy, while the pork cutlet had a crispy coating, creating a delicious combination that perfectly complemented the classic European-style curry. There are many other tempting menu items available, such as Mixed Fry, Chicken Stew Curry, and Seasonal Fried Vegetable Curry. They also offer takeout options. If you're curious, why not try the delicious curry at Koganeya?

When I started putting away the lunch operation signs one after another, I found a restaurant that serves lunch until 4 p.m. It was a European-style curry restaurant where they simmered the curry slowly. The menu is divided into three main types: beef-based, chicken-based, and tomato-based curry. The beef-based curry is made by simmering domestically produced wagyu beef lean meat with vegetables and fruits for five hours. I ordered the beef-based thick-cut fillet cutlet curry. You can choose the amount of rice from large (350g), medium (250g), or small (180g). I chose the medium size. The beef curry topped with freshly fried thick-cut fillet cutlet arrived. On the table, there were Fukushin pickles and large pieces of pickled shallots. When you eat the juicy thick-cut fillet cutlet, topped with curry, the deliciousness spreads throughout your mouth. The flavor of the wagyu beef blends into the curry. You can taste the sweetness of the fruits at first, followed by a slightly spicy kick. The spices have been simmered so that there are no sharp edges. Everything is smoothly and gently finished. 1-29-16 Shimmachi, Nishi-ku, Osaka City, Nakamura Kousan Building 1F
