I thoroughly enjoyed the Sanrio exhibition featuring my favorite characters. After buying plenty of merchandise, I decided to take a break and have some tea at this cozy shop that I always visit when I'm in the area. Due to my robotized son's tired legs, we were graciously seated in a comfortable sofa area where we could relax. Feeling thirsty, I looked through the menu and ordered the following: - Son: Iced Tea - 480 yen - Myself: Tomato Juice - 570 yen - Total: 1150 yen (including tax) I noticed that you could add ice cream as a topping to your drink, but it didn't seem like a good match for tomato juice, so I skipped it. The drink set with chiffon cake here is really worth it, and the small fruits on top are delicious. I wish I had been hungry enough to try the cake as well. The paper straw allowed me to sip the chilled tomato juice directly from the glass, which was very refreshing. My son had a hard time finishing his drink because "the ice cubes were huge," according to him. We had a relaxing time in the quiet and cozy atmosphere. Now, it's time to do some shopping in the basement. Thank you for the meal!

When it comes to the upper floors of Hankyu department store, I always think of the large cafeteria that used to be there, but it's been gone for many years now. It's a bit sad to think about, as those cafeterias in department stores used to offer a variety of dishes from both Japanese and Western cuisines. I recently visited the upper floors of Hankyu for a meal and was wondering where to go. In the end, I found a place where you can order dishes from various restaurants, similar to the old cafeteria. I chose the variety plate from Takarazuka Hotel, which included beef stew and shrimp and crab gratin. I also had a Super Dry beer served extra cold before the meal. The set came with bread instead of rice, which was served warm. The gratin had plenty of macaroni and pieces of crab claw and shrimp. The stew was decent. Eating the bread with the stew was a nice touch. I felt that there was a noticeable difference in value compared to the old cafeteria.

On my way back from Kobe, I had plans to meet up at Hankyu Department Store for some errands. I decided to stay here instead of going somewhere further for a meal, as I didn't want to risk getting stuck due to snow disrupting transportation. There are various dining options here like Miwaya, Takarazuka Hotel, Kamameshi and Uo Tanpei, and Harmonious Sea, Mountain, and People. Today, I chose the restaurant menu at Takarazuka Hotel, where you can choose two main dishes - either meat or fish. I also added chiffon cake and coffee. It's convenient to dine here on cold days when you don't feel like wandering outside, and the location is easily accessible.

I visited this restaurant for the first time because they offer a variety of dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but there were only a few customers. My companion ordered a rice dish set, while I ordered a meat set. To cut to the chase... I will not be returning, the food was not delicious. When it comes to food, I prioritize cost performance. I believe I can analyze whether a dish is worth the price based on its taste. However, the taste did not match the price, leaving me feeling like I wasted my money. Considering half of the price as the atmosphere fee, the food was just average if you are willing to pay that price.

After finishing my errands in Umeda around noon, I found that all the restaurants in the restaurant area of Hankyu Department Store were crowded. So, I decided to try a restaurant with a shorter wait time, even though there were 7 groups ahead of us. We were seated after about 15 minutes. I went with a companion and we ordered the recommended dish: Black Wagyu beef thigh (small) with assorted tempura of shrimp and mushrooms set for 2,280 yen, a glass of Ichiban Shibori draft beer for 660 yen, and a glass of sparkling wine for 500 yen (all prices include tax). The sauce on the rice was a bit sweet, but the abundance of condiments was appreciated. The tempura was also very filling and delicious.

I went to a restaurant for lunch but they didn't have coffee, so my companion suggested going somewhere else to get coffee. We ended up at a place where you can order from four different specialty shops, and the menu was extensive. I was planning to order coffee or tea from the Takarazuka Hotel menu, but they had a chiffon cake drink set for just 500 yen, which was a great deal. It was really convenient to find such a reasonable price in a department store. The collaboration menu with Hankyu Electric Railway seemed to be very popular, and I would love to try it if I have the chance.

I stopped by Hankyu for shopping on my way back from Osaka, so I decided to have lunch there. I chose this restaurant because they offer a variety of kids' meals. On one floor, you can choose from menus of four different restaurants: "Harmonius," "Takarazuka Hotel," "Miwaya," and "Tanryu." I ordered: - Variety Plate (Takarazuka Hotel) - Tuna Sashimi Bowl (Tanryu) - Miwaya Kids' Set I can't comment on the taste of the kids' set, but the other two dishes were okay in the sense that they simply filled my stomach.

The sushi restaurant that opened in April on the 13th floor of Hankyu Umeda had terrible staff, but it has now moved to the 12th floor as "Delicious Seasonal Cuisine" on June 1st, offering "Kamameshi and Fish - Amaika". The service staff here is fine as it is part of an existing operation. The food is delicious! Try the Miwaya beef simmered Kamameshi and Fish - Amaika Kamameshi set meal (pine), Isaki and asparagus mixed rice.

Located on the 12th floor of Hankyu Umeda Department Store, the restaurant court "Bimi Shun-sai" opened last month, offering a place where you can fully enjoy the seafood and mountain delicacies of Wakayama. This new restaurant is also located on the 12th floor, next to the popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant "Kishu Yaichi" @sushi_yaichi. I visited for the first time this time to try out these beautiful plates. I was surprised to discover this floor in Hankyu Department Store for the first time. The restaurant court provides full support, with the concierge taking care of orders and service. The seating is spacious and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere. There are also sofa seats, making it suitable for families with small children. I ordered the Japanese plate, while my two companions ordered the Western plate. The plates were as colorful and beautiful as shown in the photos, and the illustrated product descriptions were charming and lovely. The dishes featured Wakayama specialties such as swordfish, Kumano pork, and mandarin duck, with pressed sushi topped with Nankoume meat and a vinegar-based dish with swordfish that I had never tried before. The mild taste of the swordfish paired perfectly with the vinegar. Not only the plates, but even the chawanmushi and miso soup with seaweed were filled with gentle flavors and left me satisfied. I was initially worried about the portion size, but in the end, I was pleasantly full. I recommend everyone to go and enjoy the harmony of Wakayama's seafood and mountain delicacies with your eyes and taste buds.

The restaurant used to have 4 locations, but now only has 3 after closing down Yoshito and Minoyoshi. A new concept called harmonious has opened next to Kishu Yaichi. If you don't think of it as sushi, it's delicious! The citrus dressing on the salad is especially delicious! harmonious offers a fusion of sea, mountain, and people. At the Takarazuka Hotel, try the Shrimp Macaroni Gratin.

During shopping, I wanted to take a break at a cafe, but places like Marufuku Coffee had long lines. When I went up to the 12th floor, they were able to seat me, so I had some juice. The mixed juice was delicious, around 700 yen I think. Thank you for the meal!

After Hankyu Department Store was renovated and the Hankyu Food Hall disappeared, I heard about a restaurant called "Bimi Shun-sai" that still retains that atmosphere. Unfortunately, the famous So-rice dish, which was affordable for even the less fortunate in the past, was not on the menu (sad). On this day, I enjoyed a meat dish platter from Takarazuka Hotel. The price of alcohol was a bit high, so I couldn't drink much, but I savored the delicious dishes that served as good accompaniments to the drinks.

On the 12th floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store, there is a Dining & Bar called Bimi Shun Sai. Currently, you can choose your favorite menu from three shops: Tempura Yoshi, Takarazuka Hotel, and Miwaya. This time, the highlight is the collaboration plate between Takarazuka Hotel's Koupun-chan and Hankyu Electric Railway. The Koupun-chan's Hankyu Electric Railway BOX dessert plate set is priced at 1800 yen. The lunch plate includes seafood salad with shrimp and salmon, hamburger gratin, clam chowder, and bread or rice. The dessert plate includes milk chocolate mousse, soft serve ice cream, Koupun-chan sablé, and coffee or tea. This limited-time menu is available from August 6, 2021 (Friday) to December 19, 2021 (Sunday) from 11:00 to 16:00. The plate under the Hankyu Electric Railway BOX contains salad, hamburger, and gratin, but when viewed from the front of the train, it looks like Koupun-chan is in the driver's seat! It's just so cute! The quality of the food is also solid because it's a hotel. I particularly liked the clam chowder, which was smooth and creamy with a strong milk flavor. The dessert plate features Koupun-chan's illustration and message. "You are excellent! I always see you working hard!" The soft serve ice cream is generous in portion, and the chocolate mousse even has a dollop of fresh chocolate on top, making it very satisfying. Although it's priced at 1800 yen, not only is it visually appealing, but it also fills the stomach, making it well worth the money!

Unfamiliar word, "Gyuu mabushi." It's easy to imagine what kind of dish it is, but if you can't eat it easily, it's sure to pique your interest! This fascinating dish can be enjoyed at the restaurant "Bimi Shun-sai," which offers a unique concept where you can order your favorite dishes from four different restaurants, including Japanese and Western cuisine, all located in the Hankyu Umeda Main Store 12th floor. The restaurant includes KICHI Tempura, Takarazuka Hotel, Miwaya, and Minoyoshi, providing a wide variety of options. The spacious interior features a calming wooden decor with a capacity exceeding 100 seats, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. During my visit, the restaurant was not crowded, and I was promptly seated at a nice corner table. The Gyuu mabushi set I tried was from Miwaya, a restaurant with a long history founded in Gifu Prefecture in 1963. "Gyuu mabushi" is a registered trademark of the restaurant. You can choose from different cuts of beef such as fillet, loin, and thigh, with prices varying accordingly. I opted for the "Black Wagyu Loin Mabushi" priced at ¥3300 (tax included) as I enjoy the marbled part of the meat. The presentation was appetizing, even in a small-sized container. The glossy meat coated in sauce looked irresistible. The thinly sliced meat was incredibly tender, as expected from Black Wagyu. The sweet sauce alone was delicious, but it paired perfectly with the gentle dashi broth made with kombu and bonito, which could also be enjoyed on its own. The slightly warm temperature was understandable to prevent the meat from toughening up. When poured over the meat, the combination exceeded my expectations in terms of flavor. The sweetness of the sauce enhanced the umami of the meat, and the wasabi and perilla added a refreshing touch. The portion was satisfying, and I left with a full stomach. It was my first time trying Gyuu mabushi, and it became a memorable experience. While the Black Wagyu may be on the pricier side, the restaurant offers a range of prices, including more affordable options. With a wide selection from four different restaurants, "Bimi Shun-sai" is a fantastic place to dine with family, ensuring everyone can enjoy their desired dishes. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Miwaya's Wagyu beef loin mabushi. 3300 yen. Tax included. It looks like a very high rice container, but there was quite a bit of rice in it. The sweet sauce goes well with the tender meat and wasabi! It said you could make ochazuke by pouring dashi over it, but that seems like a waste, haha. I just had a full serving of ochazuke and then finished the meat and rice as is. I definitely want to try Sawa no Tawara in Minamimorimachi as well.

I had lunch at this restaurant located in Hankyu Umeda, which has four different shops, so you can choose from various menus. On this day, I had the large shrimp tempura bowl from "Yoshi" (1540 yen), which came with 2 shrimp tempura, chicken, vegetables, and a half-cooked egg. The rice portion was a bit small, but the tempura was crispy and delicious as always!

Hankyu Department Store's restaurant street... During lunchtime, every place is always crowded. This place is spacious, so it's relatively easy to get in. I wanted to try a variety of dishes, so I chose the lunch plate at Takarazuka Hotel. It came with beef stew, shrimp, roast beef, mixed grain rice, soup, and dessert... so much food! The café inside Umeda Hankyu and the food are both excellent! The café provides great service, including thorough disinfection, making it a safe place to visit. I was very satisfied with the soft-serve ice cream parfait, it was delicious. I will definitely visit again.
