Also, there's a handsome chef. Let's eat. Let's drink. Cheers with Akakirishima~♪ - Uni: Delicately sweet sea urchin served with roasted seaweed, wasabi, and cucumber. Absolutely delicious. - Sweet Shrimp Nigiri: Succulent and flavorful shrimp nigiri. Grateful for not being allergic to shellfish. - Cutlassfish Salt Grilled: Boneless cutlassfish, a seasonal delicacy. Tasty fish. - Baby Octopus from Akashi: Crispy octopus tentacles, my favorite part. Delicious with wasabi and soy sauce. - Nigiri Set: Tuna, sword squid, and eel nigiri set at a reasonable price of 250 yen for 2 pieces each. Small and easy to enjoy. The lively atmosphere of this newly opened restaurant is welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen and waitstaff are friendly and service-oriented. The low threshold and pleasant environment make it easy for young guests to visit. Will definitely come back. Bon appétit!

On the day when I achieved my long-awaited bar hopping in Namba. Next up for Standmee is here. When I walked around the back streets of Namba, I found surprisingly many sushi restaurants! After standing and drinking at Mee-san, I started to feel like sitting down, so I was happy to find chairs here. - Return Day Bonito Sashimi: 880 yen Today, the staff recommended this strongly, saying it's a must-try, and it was really good, not fishy at all, just as recommended. - Various Sushi (2 pieces each): 250 yen each Eel, octopus, tuna, salmon, seared sea bream, fatty tuna, salmon roe ♡ All for 250 yen each! It's cheaper than my favorite sushi chain, Fish & Rice! Especially the eel, seared sea bream, and salmon were delicious! They are open until late, the sushi chefs are friendly female staff, and it seems to be widely loved by the locals in Namba as a bar hopping spot. And this restaurant is actually located in various places in Osaka! I hope they open one in Tokyo too at this price range. I had a great time (*¯ ꒳¯*) Thank you for the meal!

[Restaurant Review] August 11, 2023 (Dinner) at Kitakaro Sushi Namba Branch. It had been a while since I last visited. Since I no longer drink alcohol, it felt even more affordable haha. The sushi was delicious as always. The turnover was quick, with customers coming in one after another. I visited Kitaro Sushi for my second round of drinks at around 9 pm on a regular weekday. Despite the time, the place was packed, but luckily we managed to secure a table for two. The staff at Kitaro Sushi were very energetic and welcoming, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. Due to the time, some menu items were sold out, but we ordered the following: Maruemon Oyster with Ponzu sauce for 550 yen, 2 pieces each of Kanpachi, Natural Sea Bream, Natural Sea Bass, Natural Pike Conger, and Kenken Bonito for 280 yen each, and a Special Sashimi Assortment for 1,650 yen. The oysters from Hokkaido were fresh and had a nice texture, while all the sushi pieces were shiny and had a great bounce to them. The natural sea bass was especially delicious. The casual ambiance of the place made it easy to relax and enjoy the fresh sushi. Overall, it was a great dining experience at Kitaro Sushi.

I used to go to this restaurant often. Before the pandemic, I used to go there quite frequently. It had been a while since I went with a large group, but... Hmm. Isn't it a bit expensive? I used to think it was always this cheap before. It has changed. If it's going to be this expensive, I might as well look for other options. Maybe I should try to find a good old-fashioned sushi restaurant.

I went in alone on a whim, and was greeted very warmly. The dishes are reasonably priced, but each one is carefully made with attention to detail, making it worth more than the price. I think this restaurant is wonderful because both the taste and the chef's personality shine through. Highly recommended.

This sushi restaurant is a must-visit when in Osaka. The small sizes allow you to try a variety of items, which is great. The rare cuts of tuna tend to sell out quickly, so it's best to go early. This time, I was able to try all types of sushi, so I'm happy. Thank you for the meal, I will visit again.

I visited the restaurant with two senior colleagues. We enjoyed sushi, appetizers, and plenty of sake at the counter! The menu changes frequently, so there aren't many of the same dishes. The sashimi platter was incredibly delicious... especially the mackerel. The large shiitake mushrooms were also really tasty. My senior colleague even asked for the name because they wanted to buy some! We ordered lots of our favorite sushi for a cost-effective meal that didn't exceed 10,000 yen per person. I will definitely go back!

Kitaro Sushi, once again I came back to this place. Last time I focused on the side dishes, but this time I tried the recommended sushi. And guess what? All sushi is only 280 yen for 2 pieces, which is a great deal. The sushi was a bit smaller than I expected, but still delicious. The first floor has only counter seats and is popular among couples. The second floor seems to be for larger groups, as it was quite lively. Osaka is great because there are many sushi restaurants with good value for money. Kitarou Sushi in Nipponbashi is delicious. I enjoyed eating various types of sushi and other dishes, along with drinks, for around 5000 yen per person. The cost performance is amazing. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal.

Tonight, I visited Kitaro Sushi in Namba at 11 PM! Despite the late hour, there was still a wait due to its popularity. Normally, I just have sushi as a side dish with drinks, but this time I also had sushi as my final course! The sushi was fresh, reasonably priced, and I understand why it's always crowded! Make sure to make a reservation before visiting.

Every time I come to Osaka, I visit this favorite restaurant. I love that I can enjoy a variety of delicious sushi at a reasonable price, and I always feel satisfied after eating and drinking to my heart's content, even though the price of each menu item may seem high.

On this day, we went on a bar hopping tour to three different places, and ended the night at Kitajiro Sushi in Namba. It was past 10 PM but the counter was lively, and we managed to slide into two available seats. It had been a while since we last visited, and we were pleased to see the energetic work of the manager. We enjoyed fatty tuna, lean tuna, sea urchin, and salmon roe, along with Japanese sake, making it a very satisfying end to the night!

In the backstreets of Namba, there is a sushi restaurant called "Kitaro Sushi" that is very reasonably priced and delicious. The atmosphere is deep and you enter through a narrow alley. Sushi is served in plates of 2 pieces for 280 yen, with a modest amount of rice making it easy to eat. The interior of the restaurant has a counter on the first floor and tatami seating on the second floor. The menu offers a variety of recommended dishes, making it hard to choose. There is also a good selection of drinks for those who enjoy alcohol. The sashimi platter is customizable based on the fish available that day, so you can consult with the staff when ordering. They served cloud ear mushrooms (grilled), a special sashimi platter, and included conger eel, saving us from ordering it separately. The special jumbo shrimp tempura was indeed huge! The grilled yam was delicious. The fresh oyster was creamy and tasty. For nigiri sushi, we had eel, octopus, and whelk on the day of the ox. My friend had eel, ark shell, and herring roe. The warm tea at the end was also delicious.

I decided to use it as the second place. Sushi is only 280 yen per plate, which is cheap. However, the individual dishes are reasonably priced. The sushi pieces are quite small, but they taste good and you can enjoy them little by little. If you're just looking for sushi and drinks for the second place to finish off the night, this place seems like a good option. Thank you for the meal.

I've always wanted to go there!! Each plate is 2 pieces for ¥280!! It's super reasonable and delicious! The portions are big and it's great~ There were quite a few people there so I think it's better to make a reservation before going! I went to the one in Nihonbashi but it seems like there are several other branches so check them out. The long and narrow plates are really difficult to take pictures of, it's tough!

Dinner after Bunraku performance❣️ April Bunraku performances included Yoshitsune and the Thousand Cherry Trees, Sekishu Gohen Tsuji no Kojyo Kagekiyo Hasshima Diary Keijojo Wajo Sonoko. I was able to watch all of them this time☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆ I often come to Osaka for cherry blossom viewing and family visits, so I combined it with watching the performances❣️ It was a happy April performance. These past few years have been eventful, but I deeply appreciate having the hobby of Bunraku. The performances ended around 8 pm, and since my family's place is nearby, I decided to eat and drink leisurely (´∀`=) This year, we had a casual sushi dinner at a local sushi restaurant! We had been aiming to go there for a while but couldn't make it. After checking the reviews on Tabelog, we decided to go there. It's just a short walk from the Bunraku Theater. I called ahead to reserve a table, and I'm glad I did because the restaurant was almost full when we arrived *\(^o^)/* We enjoyed various types of sushi, with two pieces per plate. They were smaller than I expected, but it was nice to be able to try different varieties. The swordtip squid, ark shell, live shrimp, and sea urchin were delicious❣️ The tuna, clam, striped jack, and golden eye snapper were also tasty. We also tried seared clam, raw mackerel, and negitoro. The raw mackerel was very fresh❣️ We paired the sushi with draft beer, and a junmai sake from Kochi called "Reno Wa." I went alone and enjoyed eating and drinking quickly before heading home. The sushi and rice were small, but it was great to be able to try many different types. The price was similar to Fukukenya in Tenma Chaya. Which one is better⁉️ This place is located in the southern part of the city, so the prices are a bit higher, but it was around 5,000 yen. There were quite a few couples, including a beautiful transgender woman, as well as the scent of fresh peach meat that caught my attention (sweat). Overall, it's a good place to casually enjoy sushi in the south. They also have a branch in Tenroku, so I plan to visit there as well.

I decided to try this place because options for a fourth round are limited. Since it was close to closing time, there weren't many choices left so I ordered what was available. The taste was neither good nor bad, but the mountain burdock was delicious. The eggs were different than usual. It's understandable that it wasn't the best atmosphere since it was close to closing time.

We were a group of 6 people, so we were seated on the second floor. We were surprised by the beer server, which we had never seen before, and then we were amazed by the deliciousness of the dishes that came out. The server seemed to hold about 10 jugs worth of beer. The sushi was very delicious and had great value for the price. We want to come back again.
