I received a wonderful invitation to have yakiniku after a long time. I decided to try a restaurant in the Tenroku area that caught my eye recently. The restaurant not only sells meat in front of the store but also offers daytime drinking options. We arrived on a Saturday at 1 pm and ordered a variety of dishes, including beef tongue, thick-cut tongue, fresh thick-cut liver, meat sushi, Toro-techan, hand-rolled meat sushi, wagyu special sagari, top kalbi, rib shin, top harami, sotohira, rare steak yukke-style, top mino, fresh kimchi, cabbage salad, Tenmaya cold noodles, silver rice, kupa, homemade kimpap. The total bill for three people was around 6000 yen per person. The portions were just right for us to enjoy a variety of dishes. The standout dishes were the fresh kimchi, cabbage salad, and meat sushi. The meat sushi, made with high-quality beef, was surprisingly delicious. The fresh kimchi had a refreshing taste that paired well with highball. The cabbage salad was addictive with its Caesar dressing and salted kelp. Overall, the restaurant impressed with its quality and attention to detail, including the freshly cooked silver rice. The beef tongue, harami, and top mino were particularly enjoyable, with a nice balance of flavors. As someone who doesn't eat much yakiniku, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious experience at this restaurant.

The main branch is in Temmabashi. The high-quality, low-melting-point beef melts in your mouth. The average cost per person is around 6,000 to 7,000 yen, making it quite reasonable. The timing of the dishes being served was just right, as if they were carefully watching when we finished each dish. There was no lingering smell afterwards, indicating good exhaust ventilation. The fresh Kimchi was not too spicy and had a crunchy texture, while the thick-cut liver was enjoyable with just a light sear. I'm not a big fan of raw meat, so I grilled it slightly. I also recommend their Instagram follower exclusive dish "Nikutaku". Their specialty "Gin-Shari" is made with shiny "Kinumusume" rice from Shiga Prefecture, cooked in an earthen pot. The rice was truly delicious, and I wish I could have it every day. Mixing the meat with the yolk was the best way to enjoy it. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

In the midst of the lingering summer heat, I charged up with some delicious meat with my friends! I had been to the branch of Niku no Temmaya in the shopping district before, so I decided to try the main store this time for that same delicious taste! The nearest station is Temmabashi Rokuchome Station, just a short walk away. The interior of the store has a counter in the front and tables in the back. In terms of size, the branch store is larger. I had made a reservation, as it is very popular and reservations are a must. I started with a toast of plum wine soda to quench my dry throat. - Fresh Kimchi (599 yen): The fresh white cabbage mixed with kimchi was refreshing and easy to eat, even for someone like me who doesn't eat much kimchi. - Heart Sashimi (799 yen): The crunchy texture was delightful, and it paired well with the sauce. - Thick-cut tongue (1,399 yen): The thickness made it easy to grill, and the slices were cut with a crisp edge. - Toro Tetchan (799 yen): The tetchan from Temmaya had a firm layer of fat. Grilling it over flames and then dipping it in a wash of broth made it very refreshing to eat. This way of eating tetchan is really great! - Fresh thick-cut liver (1,199 yen): The fresh liver had a firm texture, and lightly searing it with sesame oil and salt left it slightly rare and incredibly delicious! This is a must when visiting Niku no Temmaya! - Silver Shari (699 yen): The rice takes a while to cook, so it should be ordered with the first round of orders. The fluffy white rice paired with the meat is the ultimate combination! Of course, I had it on the rice. There was plenty of it, so I ended up eating too much, haha. - Shabu Roast (999 yen): A very large piece of roast meat. After quickly grilling it, dipping it in the egg sauce was amazing, as the rich egg yolk coated the meat and made it incredibly tasty! I couldn't stop eating it with the rice! - Morioka Cold Noodles (899 yen): The firm noodles had a beautiful color and, together with the clear soup, left a refreshing feeling in my mouth. - Instagram follower limited special "Niku Taku" (899 yen): Black beef with pickled radish and shari rice with soy sauce. This is also eaten by mixing it with the egg, and the quality is really high. It had been a while since I visited Niku no Temmaya, but every dish here is delicious and of high quality! This is a shop located along Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. The appearance and interior were both beautiful. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance as seats may be filled up quickly. The thick-cut liver was fresh and delicious. The thick-cut tongue had a satisfying texture. The other menu items were not much different from other yakiniku restaurants, so I wished there were more unique menu options. I also found the prices to be a bit high.

This is my third time visiting. This time, I decided to try the gyuniku shari. I also ordered a lot of meat because I wanted to indulge in it. The thickness of the gyutan gives it a great texture that is addictive. I drank plenty of beer and ate a lot of meat. I pretended to be worried about whether I could eat rice after all that, but that was not a problem at all. It was super delicious and I could eat a lot. I added more meat and ate a lot. The total bill for two people was 16,000 yen, almost like a dinner bill. But my heart was completely satisfied.

I used the 6000 yen course with all-you-can-drink option and it was really good value. I added liver and meat toppings, but the course portion was so generous that I was already full. I didn't even need the extras. The sauce was light, so it was more about enjoying the meat than feeling like you needed rice.

I enjoyed premium yakiniku with top quality meat at Tenroku. They use only A5 rank beef from heifers that have never given birth, making it the best value in the Tenroku area. The meat quality is excellent, with just the right amount of marbling. The thickly sliced beef tongue is tender and has a unique crispy texture. The kimchi is made with fresh napa cabbage, mixed with plenty of yangnyeom sauce. It looks spicy but is actually not that hot. The toro-tetchan is grilled to a soft and gelatinous texture, with the fat dripped off by dipping it in broth. The combination of tetchan's umami and the broth creates a light and flavorful experience. The shabu-shabu loin is delicious, especially when dipped in raw egg. After that, we had freshly cooked rice from the hearth, which was tasty on its own but even better with the shabu-shabu loin egg topping. Finally, we had cold noodles, which surprisingly we could still eat despite being full. It was a refreshing end to the meal. I visited on a rainy weekday, and the restaurant was fully booked. Reservations are a must!

The yakiniku restaurant also sells meat. The meat is fresh and the quality is so good that it doesn't seem like just regular kalbi. The thick-cut liver was the best!! I'm not a fan of kimchi, but the fresh kimchi here was not too spicy and delicious. The Chinese cabbage was crunchy. It was a refreshing experience to dip the Toro Tetchan in sudachi broth. The silver shari that goes well with the shabu loin is amazing! I am full now.

It was beautiful and I enjoyed eating A5! I had tongue, lean meat, beef tripe, silver shari, and grilled shabu loin. The silver shari was firm and delicious. The grilled shabu had large thinly sliced meat that went well with ponzu, egg yolk, and grated daikon sauce. The rice disappeared quickly. The beef tripe was greasy and juicy, the flavor seeping out as you chew. Then a quick rinse with lemon sauce. Delicious. It was good that it only cost around 3000 yen per person. It was nice to be able to have a drink for free thanks to a Google review!

I suddenly felt like eating delicious yakiniku, so I made a reservation for 7:00 pm on a weekday, but it was fully booked. The staff were very considerate and the atmosphere was great. The fresh thick-cut liver, heart sashimi, and rare steak yukke-style liver were all delicious and a perfect start to the meal. The fresh kimchi was crunchy and tasty, I couldn't help but finish a whole plate by myself. The green onion salted tongue and thick-cut tongue were juicy and excellent choices. The shabu rosu was huge and the silver shari rice was beautiful. The kalbi and top harami were also delicious, especially when paired with the silver shari rice. The toro tetchan had a sinful richness that spread in your mouth. The meat sushi (marbled) was better than the lean meat, and the vinegar rice was tasty. The cold noodles (half portion) were surprisingly filling and refreshing, with a nice chewy texture and a light soup to cleanse the palate. I was very satisfied with everything, the quality of the food at this price point is definitely worth a repeat visit. They also have a promotion where you get a free drink for each review you post on Google Maps, which could be nice for a date at Tenmanya. Thank you for the delicious meal!

With the kitchen right in front of me, I felt reassured that the restaurant was operating openly. What made me really happy was the cheap beer until 3 pm. Could this be the place where I get too full at the first stop?? I wanted to try many different types of meat, so I started by ordering half-size portions with some hesitation, but ended up ordering normal size portions and kept eating. I had thick-cut liver, fatty chicken cartilage, thick-cut salted tongue, top loin, lean meat with grated radish and ponzu sauce, raw beef tripe, and hand rolls, among others. The raw kimchi was mixed with gochujang right in front of me and when I tried it, it was amazing. However, since I had another restaurant I wanted to visit after this, I resisted ordering more rice. It was delicious. Next time, I'll come with the intention of just eating at this place.

I had a solo yakiniku lunch. The counter seats were full, so I sat at a table for two. They had a happy hour until 3pm on weekends and holidays, with draft beer for 299 yen, highball for 99 yen. I had three drinks, tsumami sashimi for 699 yen, negi salt harami for 1099 yen, fresh thick-cut liver for 1199 yen, negi salt tongue for 899 yen, two plates of silver shari for 699 yen, and wakatama soup for 399 yen. The meat was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Honestly, the regular kalbi was just okay in terms of taste, but the kimchi from the start was incredibly delicious. Everything is a must-try, so it's hard to choose. The sliced beef heart sashimi is full of meaty goodness and I highly recommend it. Also, the shabu-shabu pork loin goes really well with the tasty silver rice! The cold noodles are a perfect way to finish off the meal.
